Hamada is busy being seduced by a Nidorina so another Nidorino steps up to Pierce. "<This is Pierce, girls, a guest from Goldenrod.>" — to Pierce — "<We always get some berries here while we are training, it's good for HP health.>"

Hearing the question, one of the Nidorina turns to the growling one. "<She is usually like this... Is anything wrong, [Crerah]?>"

"<...No,>" answers the Nidorina, sitting and pointing a claw to her fang. "<I just have something in my TEETH...>"

The other Nidos shrug.

After a good half hour, Casval returns with a Mankey on his shoulder.

Artesia: "What's that Mankey doing with you?"

Casval: "We bonded rather quickly and I kinda wanted to keep it, so I'm going to catch it sometime."

Casval peels and hands the Mankey a Chestnut, which it happily snatches and munches on. As he is, Casval is hit by an Apricorn.

Casval: "Eh? What was that?"

Narrator: "It's Wally's. He caught a Mareep while you were gone."

"Hey, Mr. Deikun! Look at him, isn't he cute?"

The Mareep is holding onto a RED Apricorn, which it looks at a bit, then turns to stare at Casval.

Wally's Mareep and Casval: "..."

Wally's Mareep looks down at its Apricorn, then throws it at Casval, hitting him on the forehead.

Casval: "..."

Wayward Cave, bottommost level

Unlike the rest of the Wayward Cave, the bottommost level was actually well lit, a phenomenon I attributed to the lava flowing nearby. On the cave walls, there were a number of hollows, home to what was most likely Gible. My mind went back to when I went here the first time to study the Gible line, and managed to catch Garchomp how I met most of my dragons. Namely, them somehow nearly getting me killed, in this case by getting bit on the head, which hurt a lot.

Ahead of us, I could see about two Tears, guarded by what appeared to be an Armortomb with wrappings of some kind. My mons and I steeled ourselves for what would probably be a tough fight.
