Mt Pyre

...But this time the legends were not alone, for three more bodies each start to glow.

Vyvyan: <Sierra... Wherever you are now... I just wanted to say that I love you dearly, and I'm glad that you're safe... But don't worry, I think I know now.>

With a roar, Vyvyan commands the other two to take their place. Each beside their Clone. As Buggle takes it's place beside Groudon, and Depthcharge takes his place beside Kyogre. Vyvyan flies up to the skies and take his place beside Rayquaza.

And with another Roar from Vyvyan, the new Weather Trio add their own powers to the mix. Glowing like Beacons beside their counterparts and repeating thier chant.

SO sorry that this is as late as it is... I went to sleep for hours without warning to some massive sleep attack...

Sierra: (communicating with Vyvyan via the Jade Orb) I love you too. (glances up at the sky, whispering quietly to herself) Please make it back safely...

- Sierra's Pokémon stand by her side, quietly watching -

Mt Pyre.

With the combined efforts the two weather trios, the massive Caldera starts to soothe.

After a bit, the rumbling quietens. After a while, the shaking is no where near as vigouros as it was before. After that... it stops and with the power of the two Rayquazas, the weather starts to clear up to.

As their job is finished, the trios stop glowing.

Vyvyan: -Snaps out of it- <GRAH! *Pant pant pant* that was *pant pant pant* exhilerating....>

Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza let out rather weak roars before Groudon returns to his dewlling in the Earth. Kyogre sumbmerges herself back to her Aybss in the Sea and Rayquaza flying away to his reasting place at the Sky Pillar.

Vyvyan: -tiredly- <Hey wait...! Where is everyone going?>

Rayquaza: <Hey kid... can you hear me?>

Vyvyan looks around, before relising that this message is telepathic.

Vyvyan: <Yes... Yes I can.>

Rayquaza: <While you and your other cloned brethern have prevented us dying like the last time the Caldera exploded... It has pretty much drained all our power... We need to rest at our dewllings now until we restore enough strength to be able to perform our duties once more... I guess I'm just saying... a) Thanks and b) You guys are the Weather Trio... for now.>

Vyvyan: <...>

Vyvyan flies around in a circle before coming up with an apt reply.

Vyvyan: <I will be the best Rayquaza I can be!>

Rayquaza: <Zzzz>

Vyvyan: <Ray...quaza?>

Rayquaza: <A four scoop Pecha Berry Gelato sundee with a Cheri on top please |3 Zzzz...>

Vyvyan assumes that Rayquaza has gone off for his deep slumber and decides to check on Buggle and Depthcharge.

Fool notices the sky has cleared.

Vyvyan: -Replies to Sierra- <Very tired Sierra... But happy all the same. Happy that Hoenn is safe, happy that you're safe...

We were able to save the older weather trio from death, but nearly all their power was drained from trying to stop the Caldera... They have gone off for long slumbers...>

With a groan of exhaustion, the Meditite slumped to the ground, eyes whirling dizzily. However, while the battle had gone to Rex's side, Amia was still stricken by the several Rock Tombs it had used. As a result, her speed was greatly hampered, easily setting her up for...

"Go, Breloom!"

The mushroom-like Pokemon appeared, giving Amia a leer. The Woobat squeaked, looking to Rex for reassurance.

"Don't worry. You can take that guy!"

Nodding and turning to face her foe once more, Amia put on a brave face, determined to give it her best.

Thinking to himself, Rex looked the Breloom over curiously, considering its offensive capabilities, typing, and various other factors. Breloom is capable of learning Mach Punch, if I'm not mistaken. Maylene will likely try to use that to outspeed Amia; however, her resistances should give her enough of a chance to endure it and compose a counterstr-

"Use Spore, Breloom!"

So, once the remaining issues have been handled, I hope that things will work out for the best.

Due to the effects of Spore, Amia was indeed quickly felled by Breloom's Mach Punch, and was unable to put up any resistances to the attacks. Aloise, however, was able to fare much better.

"Flamethrower!"

"Stone Edge!"

The stones bit into the Ponyta's sides just as her flame attack connected, rendering the fighting Pokemon unconscious. Aloise was not much better off, wincing slightly from her injuries. She wouldn't be able to last too much longer...

"Time to go full force," Maylene grinned. "Go, Hitmontop!"

Earlier

-Is flying pretty close to the legendaries, Helios glowing in a manner that would probably be reminiscent of his mother a millennium or so ago-

Rotating on its head for momentum, the Hitmontop lashed out thrice with its legs. While the flames from Aloise's flank caused it some damage, the Ponyta was worse off for it all. She slumped to the ground, both fainted and served.

"Rrr..." Rex recalled her, sending out Avice in her stead. "   Peck    him!"

The Doduo chirped and sprinted for the Hitmontop, determined to do just that.

Daisy Mindscape

-stops playing game and decides to leave room-

???: Where are you going?

I want go back outside. Why?

???: Well I'm wondering... How many battles have you won since you became a trainer.

A lo-

???: Without help.

Oh! Well... Um...

???: Never mind feel free to leave.

Avice fainted from the rain of stone, clucking weakly underneath the pile. Rex recalled her, feeling a bit foolish for using her so soon. She didn't exactly have a lot of training since he caught her. Well, there'd be other chances for her to make up for it. And, at least she weakened their opponent enough.

"Good job, Avice." He clutched his final Pokeball, a Sport Ball, and chucked it towards the arena. "It's all up to you now!"

A flash of light erupted once again as Rex's final Pokemon appeared, taking up a battle stance with a sneer.

<An outcome I fully expected,> Mantisk scoffed.

Mauville

-is just sort of wandering, astonished to be alive-

Lilycove

-Vilkas is standing around, not doing much because for some reason he's hard to write for while on 3DS-

Veilstone City Gym

"Acrobatics!"

Mantisk slammed into the Hitmontop with great force, sending it reeling backwards. Rearing his arm back, he darted for his foe and swiped across his midsection hard for a powerful Leaf Blade. The fighting-type Pokemon wailed and fell on its back, twitching weakly from its injuries. The Grovyle, in contrast, barely seemed to be hurt.

"Oh! But this isn't the end, my friend!"

Lucario leapt forward, taking up its own combat stance as it locked eyes with Mantisk. The two observed each other for a tense moment, then darted forward, each rearing back for a powerful punch.

"Rock Smash!"

"Force Palm!"

"Dig!"

"Earthquake!"

"Brick Break!"

"Drain Punch!"

Both Pokemon circled each other, fatigued from the intense blows they'd been hammering each other with. However, neither was willing to back down, an intense glare on each of their features.

"Let's finish this, Mantisk! Use Brick Break!"

"Lucario, Me First!"

The Lucario's eyes shone blue as it copied its foe's Brick Break, boosting its power and leaping forward with a swift chop. However, though the lupine's blow connected first, Mantisk's strike to his foe's midsection proved to be more damaging, the opposing Pokemon falling back on its back in a dead faint.

"..." Maylene recalled her Lucario, a smile gracing her features. "I shall admit defeat... You are much too strong."

Maylene: Here's your Cobble Badge. And take this TM, too!

Rex: Thanks... *mulls something over* Say...if you don't mind me asking...why don't you wear shoes?

Maylene: I've heard that it's more healthy to go barefoot. That's why none of my Pokémon wear shoes, either.

Rex: Shoes, huh? *recalls Salamence wearing SHOES once, and decides to check on her and Spathi after this* I see...

Maylene: Is there anything else?

Rex: Actually, I did want you to have this. *hands her the pie that Melody made* It's a good kind of pie, and I thought you might enjoy it. *thinks* I hope she doesn't see this as a handout or something...

Maylene: Oh, that's very nice of you! But I can't take your food; that would be a breach of ethics.

Rex: Umm...you're already eating it.

Maylene: *cheeks are covered in pie* ... ... ...ethics weren't really my strong suit anyway. *continues to nom the pie*
