Crowbar: <...so, if you wanted a colour film back then, you had to invest a lot of time and money durning the editing process. For each individual cel had to be coloured by hand, with the utmost delicacy. Hence why not many hand colour films were around at that time, it was just seen as a novelty. "Remastered" versions of films back then were the lucky, sucessful ones that could spare to have a hand painted version of it printed. "Le Voyage dans la Lune" is one such film>
