As the group approaches the invisible wall, they can see several Sandshrew, Trapinch, Numel, Geodude and Baltoy coming out from holes, sandtraps and random sand trails, and gathering around several large pots of what is obviously Magma Brand Pokéfood™.

Kat -sniffs the air — <Obviously someone is leaving this food for them... but if they are leaving it unguarded...>

Several Baltoy and Numel turn back to look at the group, and start growling, screeching and leering at them.

Back At The Inn

Algira joyfully flies around Helios, pecking him every once in a while to sip some honey off him.

Algira — <You taste delicious~>

As she sips more, Algira buzzes and flashes patterns of mild annoyance.

Algira — <I am trying to do something to entertain myself and- hey!> — turns to Helios — <"Maybe"? So that means...>

Treeo: <Those Pokémon don't look very happy to see us...>

Lake: <We are sort of interrupting feeding time, though.>

Treeo: <True...>

"I'd rather not have to fight them if we can avoid it. Lake? Could you try and calm them down?"

Chord: <Is he really the best choice for this?>

"Well, if we can't calm them down, Lake can always go with "Plan B" ".

Lake: *Smirks.* <Yep.> *To the wild Pokémon.* <Sorry, we didn't meant to interrupt your meal. Just give us a few seconds and we'll be out of your way.>

Stratus: <What is that they're eating, anyway? It looks yummy...>

Helios: -Confused- <Huh?>

Aqua: <Rrrr...where are they?> *yips*

Blossom: <Zzz...>

Rascal: <Zzz...>

Egg: *nestled gently in between them*

At the Hotel, a Couple of Hours Ago

-Thog has finally found Zoltan in a hallway-

<Thog: "There you are! Where have you been?">

<Zoltan: "Oh, just looking around a bit...">

<Thog: "And what are those things in your mouth?">

<Zoltan: "I don't know. I found them on some of the doors, and they didn't seem that important...">

-Shouting can be heard coming from the floor below-

<Zoltan: "... Okay, so maybe they were important...">

<Francis: "Oh yeah, because letting the 8-foot tall marsh lizard with gigantic teeth handle diplomacy is going to turn out so well...">

-To Maekrite, still concerned-

<Teala: "Uh... Maekrite? Are you feeling okay? I think that we're almost there...">

Mindscape

-still wandering around the allowed areas of Fool's mindscape, mostly just exploring a bit-

-Salamence is still cuddling Shahinne and Zubat-

-Breeze and Diesel return from somewhere, carrying what appears to be a guillotine-

Diesel: <There's no way this isn't going to work. >

Rex: Hi, Bree- ... ... ... wh-what are you doing with that? o_O

Inn, Crewe's Room

Diesel: <Not much.>

Breeze: <This will be awesome!>

-the two carefully set up the guillotine, making very sure to keep all parts of Every out of the blade's path-

-Breeze swings the blade down-

-and it promptly shatters on contact with the handcuffs, splintering the guillotine's frame and sending up a shower of sparks-

Diesel and Breeze: O_O

Jeremy:....Is that a....guillotine?

Infernape: <The master of the obvious, Ladies and Gentlemen.>

-Casval runs through whatever parts of Fool's mind he happens to chance upon with the Druddigon not far behind, making sure to shout something along the lines of "Hey Guys!" everytime he passes someone-

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Velvet: <I don't know if DS really wants to bring her out here, I mean... She grounded Swindle for life, remember?>
