<AHH!> Crewe topples off the tortilla as it falls. Unfortunately, as Argo and the team are still tending to Effie, she has nothing to break her landing. She falls behind a tree, and the impact knocks off the armband.

Even more unfortunately, Effie and her team saw the whole thing.

Argo, Discovery, and Bluebird jaw drop. Effie rubs her eyes a few times.

"I, uh... Nice fighting with you guys!" Crewe scrambles to her feet and runs away, snatching up the armband as she goes.

<Bye! ^_^!> Bounty calls, waving his claw as she goes. Argo gives him a sharp look.

<What? She was nice! :S!>

<... Whatever.>

Effie climbs to her feet. She's cleaned of the tabasco sauce, but soaked with water. "How odd. A Sneasel that turns into a human!" She looks down at her team. "Fascinating!"

Argo sweatdrops. <Marsh...>

-notices Sierra nursing her bitten hand- Excuse me. Are you alright?

Sierra: Huh, what? (notices Wolf) Oh, um... I'm fine. My Eevee just hates me, that's all... Actually, all Pokémon seem to do. And I know what you're thinking... (gesturing to her Team Magma uniform) ... but Pokémon were treating me like that even before I joined those guys. (shrugs) Not even sure why I joined them... Oh, sorry, didn't mean to make this all about me, or anything.

Well...that was weird. Not having to kill a Pokemon rapist and a super Mary Sue weird, but pretty weird.

- A large Gyarados suddenly rises from the ocean, sings a beautiful aria, before picking up the remains of the tortilla and sinking back into the ocean -

"Orchid a Nidorina? It depends really. Breeders like Inka live more or less isolated from the rest of the colony. Now, lemme go sign up for this stuff."

Silent checks up his Pokémon (that is, all but Lileep) to the office. There he is asked for the four badges for verification: [Jade Star], [Sea Ruby], [Spike Shell] and [Coral Eye].

After Silent gets his badges verified, he has to listen to some exposition about the challenge and the stadium's rules.

League Officer: "...and then when there's three of a team knocked out..."

League Officer: "...oh no, there is no hax, the Dragonite's just that good..."

League Officer: "...the challenge will be carried out tomorrow at noon..."

When that is done he returns to where Rex and Forte are.

I guess it's about time something crazy happened.

-extends a hand, awkwardly...the one that means she wouldn't have to shake with her injured hand- I'm Wolf. Do you want something for your hand?

-Watches the Gyarados take the tortilla away-

What. The. Hell? I need a friggin drink.

Nudi: <Well, at least an evil glitch Pokemon isn't going to attack us now.>

Rex: I'm glad we don't have to fight that Dragonite...

Sierra: (shakes Wolf's hand) Oh, I think I'll be fine... My Eevee always bites me whenever I try to pet him, sometimes tricking me into it... I really hope I can improve his attitude before I evolve him. I don't want him to both bite me and set me on fire at the same time.

Crewe, arriving back at the building Jab is still (probably) laying unconscious on top of. She ducks into an alley and puts the armband back on, then quickly climbs the fire escape to check on him.

Elsewhere, Effie and her team are walking around town, Effie squeezing water out of her long blonde ponytail. "That really was amazing! Do you think we could find that Sneasel again?"

Her team exchange looks.

<Marsh? Marshtomp.>

<Buizel!>

<Corphish! :D!>

Effie laughs softly. "Oh, you guys. C'mon, let's look." She walks off, while the team exchange glances.

<I don't think she got what we were trying to say at all,> Discovery muses.

<Yeah. We need a new way to communicate,> Argo says, nodding.

Bluebird shrugs and Aqua Jets off after Effie.

Bounty smiles and waves his claws. <:D!>

Argo and Discovery stare at him for a moment, then shrug and the three hurry off after Effie and Bluebird.

If you're sure. -thinking of something- Why do you think your Pokemon hate you? I mean, why are you sure that's what's going on?
