"AND YOU TEAM MAGMA! Send out all the Pokemon each of you own.. I have to check them out. Then make damned sure you all have an alibi." Parisse said, looking pissed off.

Michelle: <Oooh. I'm so scared~>

Artesia looks across the lake to see a group dispersing.

"What the hell went on over there?"

I think something about two teams, a Bug Catcher and some sort of legal issue.

"Well, they seem to be done, and anyways, if it's politics, something will get screwed up regardless...It's pointless to intervene."

Artesia turned to find the Narrator with a megaphone.

Narrator: AND THUS, SHE SUCCESSFULLY AVOIDS AN FAMILY FRIENDLY AESOP AND RATHER HARSHLY DECIDES TO TURN AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE IN NEED!

The camera pans away as Artesia slowly advances on the Narrator, cracking her knuckles.

Well, Team Magma wanted to expand the land, while Team Aqua wanted to expand the sea. To do this, the leaders, Archie and Maxie went after Kyogre and Groudon. They realized a little too late how disasterous their goals could be, but luckily Gamer was able to find Rayquaza and get him to settle things before it got too far.

Odette: <Oh...>

Tulip: <I guess we'll have to put investigating the whole "who broke Charon out of jail and where is he now" thing to the side and focus on this instead, yes?>

I honestly don't know what we're supposed to do...

Well, let's get some sleep, and maybe we'll challenge the gym tomorrow.

Hmm... So, to recap... Things to do while in Hoenn...

Train Odette and Tulip, take the Gym challenge, spend more time with the others in the group, try to resolve things with Jane, possibly deal with Team Magma and Aqua, possibly try to find out something about Charon, and check out the things Hoenn has to offer... Is that all?

- Glances out at the lake, realizing something -

Wait... Psyduck aren't found on this route.

- Looker suddenly pops out of the water, wearing a hat with a wooden Psyduck on top -

Odette: (startled) <Quack!> (swims back over to me)

Silent wakes up at one of the rooms. After mail check, shower and breakfast (yes, in that order) he sends out Algira and goes to the Lounge.

Algira — <Oh... what are we doing today?>

"We are travelling to Mikan island for the Gym Badge. I just have to talk to Rex first."

Algira — <...I'm not going to be in that Gym challenge, right?>

"I don't think so... sorry."

Goes to look for Rex.

... And why would Charon be in Hoenn?

Looker: Well, I just thought that following you would be great way to find Charon.

But... I have no idea where Charon is, and why were you in the lake, wearing that hat?

Looker: Why wouldn't I be? Also, the returning of Team Magma and Team Aqua makes me concerned. So, I shall investigate that further!

- Still confused -

How long were you in that lake? And where did you even get that hat?

Looker: I must get going and continue the investigating. Let me know if you find out any information that useful might be for investigations! (runs off)

Rex: *holding a bag under a machine slot; inserts some money into the machine and turns the dial, causing birdseed to fill the bag* Here you are, Shahinne.

Rex: Sure. Most of the Pokemon I have on hand eat fish.

Shahinne: <Fish?> *lands on a nearby table, tilting her head* <Like Krabby?>

Rex: Umm, well usually Magikarp and stuff...but maybe sometimes.

Shahinne: <I don't like Krabbies.> *pecks at the table*

Rex: *places the bag of nuts down so she can eat it, wondering what Silent is up to*

Silent prepares Copahue's Pokéball and goes into the room.

"Hey, Rex! Hello there, Shahinne..."

Algira rests besides Shahinne, watching her nom.

Algira — <Awww...> — buzzes sadness — <I could have hunted you a Burmy~>

Rustboro City, Devon Corp, Rooftop Satellite

"Another day, another chance. Maybe I can get to know Katie and everyone else better today."

Artesia smiled a bit at the thought.

Devon Corp Employee: "Hey, get down from there! You're interfering with our connection to the Weather Institute!"

"Oh, okay! Hmm...I wonder what my brother doing right now...Obviously he isn't slacking off like I am."

Artesia giggled a bit before leaping down and continuing her exploration of the city.

Casval and Quale has woken up after a good night's sleep.
