Recalls Laplace and prepares to go to the beach.

"Have fun with Shahinne and Ichtacya. Just be careful that sometimes Shahinne is not the one you're looking at. Anyway, I'll be away for about two hours..."

Says bye to the gathered mons there and leaves for the beach.

-Is now taking a walk through Rustboro-

Rex: *waves a goodbye to Silent and Laplace, turning back to Ichtacya* You'll help me keep a watch on Shahinne, won't you?

Ichtacya: *nods* <I always watch out for li'l bird.>

Rex: Hehe, I knew I could count on you. *pets her head* You must be Silent's favorite~

Artesia is trying to figure out what the Quick Claw is by conducting professional tests and utilizing the Scientific method.

-Katie is wandering around again; spots Artesia, and decides to say hello-

Katie: Hello!

- Has been exploring the North part of Route 104 and done some more training, and is now exploring Rustboro -

Tulip: <Haha! At last I've learned to use Mega Drain, yes! I'm more powerful now, yes!>

- Smiles at Tulip, seeing how excited she is -

"Hey there, Katie. You want this?"

Artesia holds out the Narrator's microphone.

"Some guy was talking bad about me so I beat him up and wrestled this from him."

Katie: Oh, cool! Thank you!

-speaks into the microphone-

-Katie: What does it do? Oh! My voice sounds really weird. This weird artifact becomes the first in a collection of oddities that Katie will collect, much like her brother has.-

-stashes the microphone in her bag-

Katie: Huh, I wonder why I said that last bit... -shakes it off- Anyway, I wanted to ask about your brother. Any news?

"I don't know much about him aside from his name and that he had a Squirtle he really loved. We were separated when I was only 1 year old. Even so, I could tell he really loved me, otherwise I wouldn't have lived till today."

- Continues walking around, Odette notices the trainer that had the Manectric and Wigglytuff from earlier -

Odette: <... Her again?>

Tulip: (tilts head) <What are you talking about, yes?>

-Visits home quickly, and returns to check in on the Trainer School-

Hi, Anom! I was trying to get your attention last night, but I don't think you noticed me.

Katie: Oh, that's so sad! What's his name?

She can probably tell Katie his name without giving away anything, if you're trying to keep it a secret. Katie hasn't met, or heard anything about Casval. Also, how old is Artesia?

Sorry... I just feel stressed. It's almost as if another me somewhere else has a lot to do this week. Yes, I know that sounds stupid.

"His name was Casval. He was someone who was fiercely protective and if he found something he liked, nothing would ever harm it! He loved Pokémon so he really wanted to be a trainer. Despite being too young to remember, I was given special modifications to have powerful abilities of recollection. That's why I know he's gonna be doing good on that promise!"

Artesia is 15, and I'm not avoiding telling his name, but if it's not necessary then it's easier to create plot with Poor Communication Kills.

Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. Well, whatever that means, I hope you feel better soon.

Katie: He sounds cool. -smiles-

"Okay, so is there something you're on this trip for? It doesn't seem like this is your home region nor does it seem you recieved your starter Pokémon here either. Are you sure about travelling so soon? I mean it's not like you won't be safe, considering how powerful my team is, but chances are you don't know this place much."

Katie: -giggles- I don't know. Professor Oak asked me to start my journey in the Orange Islands, but I think he was just trying to get me in contact with the Trainers that my brother travels with. I made some friends, and I'm not really ready for real battling yet, so I decided that I would rather travel with them than start the Gym Challenge right away. I'll probably go back some day to take on the League there, though.

Rustboro City: Streets

May: Alright, little Tailow, fly on home now. *holds up her hands*

Tailow: *stretches its wings before taking off into the air*

May: *waves* Goodbye, Tailow.

Tailow: <?> *flies back over, landing on May's head*

May: Eh?

Tailow: *pecks her head gently, nuzzling against her bandana*

May: Oh...you want to come with me?

Tailow: *nods*

May: Awww~ *reaches into her pocket for an Oran Berry, handing it up to the bird Pokemon* I'll take good care of you; I promise.

Tailow: *chirps and pecks at the berry*

"Okay then."

Artesia blushes slightly.

"It's not like we're friends though, it's natural to be worried about one's servants! So just let me know if anything is bothering you!"

Artesia forces a bunch of berries into Katie's arms.

"I'll make sure you become a great trainer as well. That's alright, isn't it?"
