Yeah, I did that. I figured it was the best way to explain why she wasn't doing anything. We fell off a Swoobat, I'm pretty sure it's a reasonable response.

Have everyone else in the group already arrived in Driftveil city?

- After doing some off-screen training on my way to Driftveil -

Artemis: <We should get going. The others are probably ahead of us.>

Yeah. Okay, guys! Enough training for now! Let's go!

Artemis: <By the way, how come it seems Unite is getting more experience than we are from these battles?>

I suppose it's similar to how traded Pokémon gain more experience. Since Luke was Unite's original trainer, training with another trainer is giving him more experience.

Artemis: <... Good for him.>

Goggles: (glowing) <Hey! Look at me! Look at me!>

- Goggles evolved into Krokorok -

Hey, Goggles! You've evolved!

Goggles: (examining himself) <Cool! I'm tall, dark and handsome now!>

Right, let's just head over to the bridge and go to Driftveil, I think the others are already there.

Goggles: (while trying to make cool poses) <Hey, ladies! My name is Goggles, but you may call me Goggles. It's short for Goggles.>

Are you coming?

Goggles: <Oh, right!>

- Goggles hurries over to us as we all head over to Driftveil -

Unite: <Heh. I guess I am a traded Pokémon. Does this mean I'll have to disobey you if my level gets too high?

...

...Nah, Don't worry, I wouldn't do that!>

-Elsewhere...-

-After a long Journey, the Brown Subway Car pulls up to the Anville Town platform and slowly comes to a halt.

As soon as the Subway Car's doors open, me and Lake jump off onto the platform. I stop for a moment to take a look around.-

Well this is a nice little place they've got here, isn't it?

Lake: <Yeah, very rural. I like it.>

-I notice that we appear to be the only members of our group to arrive.-

Hey...Where's everyone else?

Lake: <...Dunno. Maybe they haven't arrived yet?>

...Probably.

- We arrive in Driftveil city -

Okay, the others in the group that went to Driftveil should be somewhere nearby...

Goggles: <Speaking of the others, do you think I might have a chance on Rebecca with my new appearance?>

Huh? Since when were you interested in Rebecca?

Goggles: <I don't know. But could you ask Jane if Rebecca might be interested?>

Goggles, no offense, but I don't think Rebecca would be interested in you.

Goggles: <... Yeah, you're right. Her standards are probably so high I wouldn't stand a chance. How about Artemis?>

Artemis: <Me? Seriously? Nya-ha-ha-ha!> (starts rolling on the ground, laughing hysterically)

Goggles: <... I take that as a "maybe". Let's see, what other female Pokémon in the ground egg group are part of...> (notices the Driftveil market) <Ooh! Stuff to eat!>

Well, for now let's head over to the Pokémon center, and then we'll go buy some stuff at the market later.

I am sooooooo tempted to make a Crack Pairing between Rebecca and goggles now xD

-On the way to Driftveil City Aliroz has also evolved into a Krokorok-

Aliroz: <So about getting a top hat Tagg?>

Me: -Still despondent over the events of last night- Maybe later, since I put my old team back in the Box until Clay shows up.

Funnily enough, both Rebecca and Artemis are in the same egg group as Goggles.

- Has healed my Pokémon at the Pokémon center and bought some stuff at the market place, is now exploring the city while looking for the rest of the group -

This place is kind of nice.

Goggles: <Yeah! I love this background music!>

Artemis: <Background music? What background music?>

- My other Pokémon look around confused for a moment -

Chase: (looking over at where the gym is) <One has to wonder why a ground type gym leader chose to build his gym right next to the water.>

I wonder if the other group has reached Anville town yet?

Goggles: <I wonder what the background music in Anvil town is like?>

It's called Anville town. Maybe the other members of our group has heard something from them?

- I continue looking for the others -

I know what Goggles is talking about.

- I notice Tagg -

Oh, hi Tagg! Has anything happened since we got here? Heard anything from the others?

-Looks down-

-I pull out my X Transiver.-

Might as well check how the others are doing in Driftveil right now.

Lake: <Do know how that thing works? You haven't used it before.>

I think I've got it figured out...Press that, then dial...

-I dial the number for DS' X Transiver.-

...Then wait for them to pick up. Easy.

... Something has happened, hasn't it?

- I hear my Xtransceiver ringing -

Huh? (presses the button to answer the call) Oh, hi Luke! Have you arrived in Anville town?

Yeah, me and Lake are in Anville Town. I think Gamer's here too, but there's no sign of anyone else yet though.

How are things in Driftveil right now?

So, you haven't heard anything from the others yet?

- I look over at Tagg, looking somewhat worried as I continue the conversation -

Well, so far things seem to be doing okay for us here in Driftveil city, but if I'm reading Tagg's body language right, I think something may have happened to the rest of the group that was headed to Anville.

-Decides to start speaking-

They were attacked by a pack of Zoroark. Crewe got knocked out from the fall, and their leader nearly killed Anom.

What? REALLY?! Are they okay?

They said that they should be on their way to Anville Town not too long from when I last spoke to them.

- Upon hearing what happened -

Oh my... I hope they'll all be okay and make it to Anville town without any more problems.

...I hope so too. There's nothing worse than seeing something horrible happen and being unable to do anything about it.

I think Skyla went ahead to Anville town, she probably knows a different flying route to Anville town that wouldn't bother the Zoroark. At this point, they'll probably arrive there any time now, but she might be able to help them find a safer route when they decide to leave Anville town.

... Assuming they don't take the subway to get back.

- Meanwhile, in Anville town -

Skyla: (looking into the distance) I can see those trainers approaching, but it looks like they've had a rough time getting here. I guess they must've flown too close to the Zoroark's habitat. (takes out first-aid kit) I'll be ready to offer my assistance when they land!

If Clay were to show up they'd be in horrible condition.

Okay...So the others are badly injured, and Clay's on his way here, likely with his strongest Pokémon, leaving only me and possibly Skyla to fight against him.

This Is Gonna Suck.

Unite: -Looks very concerned.-

He'll probably come over here first, so we can soften him up for you.

I thought the point was of this plan was to make him think that Verizion was in Anville Town instead of Driftveil where, um...It actually is right now. We lure him to Anville while you protect Verizion.

My point is, wouldn't getting him to come to Driftveil be kind of counter productive to keeping Verizion safe?
