— I could call my interns... one or two of them must be collecting soil samples near Ecruteak... and since they already hate me enough, one extra task won't be too much; what do you think?

Aside from that, today's pretty slow.

Yeah, but the GC semifinal rounds aren't until later.

I'm goin' up against Slouch. Considerin' how well he's been doing in the tourney, I think the odds are stacked against me. Not that I really mind if I win or lose or whatnot.

— I sincerely don't think so, Maekrite. You see — kneel to pet Maekrite and point Basket to him — by themselves Tropius are a pretty uncommon sight, and if they are in Johto they have likely been introduced recently...

I'm sorta going through Battle Burnout at the moment to due to this competition.

It's a little too stressful for someone like me who hasn't been a trainer for very long.
