Mark would eventually finish reviving the rest of his team, delayed only by wondering how the hell Magnemites consumed anything. He tried throwing the revive pellet at the downed mon after summoning it, which didn't seem to do much. The trainer then resorted to crushing it into dust and sprinkling it all over the Magnemite, which somehow seemed to work. He then sprayed the Magnemite with a super potion and managed to get his team in mostly fighting shape, although their moves wouldn't be restored whatsoever.

"Tell me something real quick 'Jime, has Unova had any gang or team trouble lately?" Mark asked, still wondering what the source behind the swarms could have been.

Living The Fever Dream

F!Robin: "Why did everyone arrive with a weapon but Morgan and I?"

She is very suddenly distracted by a dragon in her face.

"Mira!"

She sends out her Kirlia, who fires a Dazzling Gleam into the Kommo-o's face, and her Hakmo-o.

"Hector, take the Empoleon. Sigurd, the... Brown one!"

Mira: ~Beheeyem~

F!Robin: "Thank you."

Sigurd slashes at it with a Dragon Claw, slamming it into the ground, injured, but still up.

Hector fires a burst of Razor Leaves at the Empolyon, who shields with his flippers.

Awakening shirt guy looks both incredibly confused and incredibly concerned.

F!Robin looks at the Random Evil Muscly Scientist. "We're the Sheperds."

The Behyeem retaliates with a Psychic, as the Bisharp slams into Sigurd with a Night Slash, staggering him back.

Sigurd: <You can do nothing!>

The Empoleon hits Hector with a Steel wing, knocking him into the path of the Ninetails' Fire Blast.

Hector: <Tch... I will not fail Lady Artoria and fall to this!>

Morgan and Cynthia look at a window, look at each other and nod.

Morgan looks at Sumia and motions to another window. "In through there! Cynthia, break it with your spear."

Cynthia nods. "Just get me close enough!"

The Principal: A near-total loss of all resources. Wiped hard drives, the total loss of all staff minus Cassidy, and the public outing of the base's location.

-Cassidy tenses up, which causes his bruised left tricep to ache, to say nothing of his bruised ego.-

The Principal: They wanted to send a message. And that's before we get to this... baffling calligraphy.

-She shifts the paper aside to show the photos of the base walls, graffiti'd with the same phrase regarding "bowing and praying" to a "neon god".-

The Principal: ~And you're certain that your assailant did not leave a psychic signature?~

Cassidy: ~Yes, ma'am.~

The Principal: ~Then it appears the one who took Subject 22 was the one responsible - one Derek Morton. This attack fits with his previously observed behavior - the use of restricted visibility via sandstorm, a complete lack of psychic signature, and the use of blows to the head to quickly incapacitate enemies.~

-Her eyes narrow at the pictures, however.-

Cassidy: ~The truce is broken, then?~

-The Prinicpal's eyes shoot up, and Cassidy jumps after realizing they've spoken out of turn.-

The Principal: ~... Yes. It appears it has been. However, a new piece of information has been discovered.~

-She nods towards the door, and an elderly man with a shock-white beard walks in. Cassidy, and their two siblings, blink before respectfully nodding to the doctor.-

Dr. Sean Hayes: It has come to our attention that the organization known as the J-Team has a great deal of experience with matters related to, if not directly connect to, the subdimension known as the Metaverse, where the Yellow Eyes ply their trade.

-Delphi and Magnus give each other a look.-

Hayes: For this reason, and because of the report from Tanya that Subject 22 might have broken out similar to the Yellow Eyes, the Principal and I have come to the conclusion that we require a safeguard for the three of you. We are going to artificially give you the same powers as the Yellow Eyes.

Delphi Ten-Eyes: ~Let me see if I have this right. You want to artificially grant us the power to oracle a new plane of existence?~

Hayes: More than just that. You will each be gifted... a new weapon. It will be as if you are given an entirely new power, separate but connected to your current skill sets. Think of it as... a new limb.

-Magnus cracks his knuckles.-

Hayes: I do warn you, however - we are artificially inducing this process, rather than letting it progress naturally. You may be... changed. We do not know to what degree.

Cassidy the Masterpiece: ~With all due respect, Dr. Hayes, we have been embarrassed more than enough by this group to set aside what issues we might have had.~

Hayes: I thought you might say that. I will send for each of you individually as your... "Personas", as they are called, are readied.

The Principal: ~Very good, Doctor. That concludes this briefing, you are all dismissed.~

"I suppose we won't make much progress sitting here, <3" Colt observed as he stood up and stretched. Wordlessly, he gestured towards what direction he thought the fountain was in, his other hand stuffed in one of the pockets on his jacket.

"Or is it the J-Team you're lookin' for? We kinda tend to scatter, but I do know where a few members have gathered right now. Is there a 'mon with Teleport around? We gotta get to Pinwheel Forest in Unova <3." He placed his hand into a shadow and had it bleed through to Pinwheel Forest.

As the Flames get larger, Cathbad emerges from the shadow and strikes the assailant from the flanks. Finnegan, meanwhile, toys with something under his flared sleeves.
