-Before Hadilla can hit Poliwrath, Poliwrath catches Hadilla with Psychic and slams him into the ground-

Hadilla: <Ow... time for PLAN B!>

-Plan B just consisted of spitting a bunch of Seed Bombs at Poliwrath-

Poliwrath: <My Psychic can catch all of these. What purpose does this- urk!>

-Under the cover of the Seed Bombs, Hadilla rushed forwards and landed a hit on Poliwrath with the tentatively named Seed Palm. With a groan, Poliwrath falls over, knocked out-

Hala: Alright, then. Let's go, Bewear!

-Hala sends out a Bewear-

Bewear: <Bewear will crush puny Ludicolo!>

Ahe: You good to stay out Hadilla?

Hadilla: <I'm ALWAYS good to stay out!>

Ahe: Fire Punch!

Hadilla: <I GET TO SAY THE THING!>

-Hadilla charges up to Bewear and cocks his fist back-

Hadilla: <Falcon...>

-He punches Bewear-

Hadilla: <PAWNCH!>

-The Fire Punch ( Hadilla: <Falcon Punch!>) knocks Bewear back a few feet-

Bewear: <...puny Ludicolo.>

-Bewear grabs Hadilla and throws him into the air-

Ahe: Ludicolo! Synthesis!

-Hadilla turns in the air so his back is facing Bewear and uses Hydro Pump to propel himself at Bewear at high speed-

Hala: Pull!

-Bewear steps back uses Brutal Swing just as Hadilla enters range. Hadilla flies across the room and hits the wall with a heavy thud before falling to the ground. Miraculously, he stands up-

Hadilla: <Did anyone catch the number of that truck?>

-Hadilla falls over, knocked out-

The rain stops!

Ahe: Let's go, Kuhikuhi!

Kuhikuhi: <Alright, Bewear. Yer goin' down.>

-Bewear laughs-

Listening to Cynthia and her Kirlia, Colt elected to summon his Dark Pulse Orbitars in preparation. He also placed a hand on Sylveon’s Pokéball - she’d have the... actually...

He placed his hand on Lucario’s Pokéball.

-PEFE!Every, unlike her cousin, isn't a very heavy sleeper, and observes a fairly rigid schedule, waking up fairly early every day-

-but also, her usual sleeping arrangements are a cot in a module of a giant research facility of one sort or another, as opposed to another girl in a forest-

-she's overslept-

-this is embarrassing-

-while waiting for Psyche to wake up, she checks her phone-

-and finds a number of unread messages-

-PEFE!Every blinks, and decides Ever was probably just really drunk. She checks her next set of texts, which are from Brie-

PEFE!Every: ...What.

-maybe they went out drinking? And there was a fireworks show? Or...?-

-...she wishes someone had thought to invite her to this party-

-not that she'd have gone but still-

-anyway, there's one more set of texts, from...oh, crap. That's her second number, at HQ-

-why didn't she check those first??-

-realizing she left her team at Ever's house, she scribbles a note for Psyche. It's in somewhat bizarre, spiky handwriting, but...-

-she reads the note, then frowns and attaches a second piece of paper to it-

A bright flash of light later and suddenly Colt and Natu were in Nimbasa City. Natu was soon offered about half of a granola bar as thanks, the latter half devoured by Colt in two bites. He set himself and his Psychic-type on a bench as he decided to start practicing his illusions.

There's a physically interactable baseball suspended in midair somewhere in front of him now. Make of that what you will.

Aspertia City Gym:

"You serious, you're gonna start the battle right here, right now?" Mark asked, still expecting this fight to take place in some heavily-decorated room that may or may not have had spectators.

Nimbasa, yesterday

-Jason closes his arm vents-

Jason:-to Silas-Yeah, always have been.

-He blinks at Megan's flusteredness.-

She's geeking out. Oh my arceus I never thought I'd see the day.

Colt did not respond to the question, but upon bring asked about cybernetics, he smirked.

He drew the illusory baseball closer before crushing it in his hand to reveal a bunch of circuitry and nuts and what have you. “I have no idea how to help you, or even why you need help,” he considered as he turned around.

"Yeah, meet Megan. Fan of the J-Team, and just learning about the craziness you guys get up to."

Hacks chuckled, ~Technically, you're involved with them, you're as much as part of the team as well. Considering how casually you are greeting one of its members.~

Silas stood there for a good minute before saying only one word, "Fuck."

~I mean take a look at all the weird things that have happened to you, and the fact that you got turned into a Lucario to understand Pokemon and not need me for a translator! The J-Team on those rumor sites were always loosely defined, from the looks of it. You just need to be in contact with them to join. Congrats!~

Silas was going to argue but sighed, "Apparently the J-Team includes trauma and potential PTSD. I still have nightmares about that giant brain... Well I guess it is official."

The trial before them was surprisingly empty, just murals on the walls and a path to the chest at the end, and the Hyul Sage in his cage.

Then he had a bit of an idea. He drew his Dark Pulse Orbitars closer to his hands and had them enshroud his fingers, the friction creating heat, creating sensation. The Orbitars were then reabsorbed into himself, their host no longer seeing any reason to keep them around. He looked at the murals, curious as to how they would fit in to all this.

Neon: No, really! I neec someone to make me armor! Like, super armor for a Psychic!

Petey: <Say, kid, you look familar.>

Kass: <OK, what's the trick to this?>

The landscape changed, becoming a museum of parts for the technology of the island, even several models of Guardians were on display.

"It was once a fabricator, how we assembled the parts needed..."

The blank spaces were left for the answers. For now, maybe some observation of the murals for the backstory. Something would turn up that made no sense...

Then he blinked, realizing the voice was rather familiar. Natu leaped up on top of the bench while Colt stood up away from the bench. Then he gathered himself. "How's modern Unova?"

-she's surrounded by a number of them, all with blank gazes. She moves a hand a little, and they follow the motion. A couple Dunsparce are within the pack, likewise hypnotized-

Suri: We'll have a few more disposable forces when we hit the upper levels, cool?

-Emily coughs. The Leader looks at her-

Emily: They're on alert, but they're protecting the wrong things. They think we want the generators.

Emily: The guard down here is minimal. Lot of Dunsparce but nothing more.

-he snickers. Rita takes the opportunity to hit him with a Shadow Ball, knocking him off his feet-

Emily: If we hit now, and hit hard, they won't be able to stop us.
