-back to her usual place, in the alley near the Pokemon Center. It's deserted save for a man slumped against the wall. Cassie goes over to him-

Cassie: Pardon me, sir, have you heard the good news?

Cassie: Yveltal, praise be to her, promises eternal life to her followers.

-more silence-

Cassie: I can tell from your silence that you are an, ah, austere fellow. This is good-Yveltal has no truck with frivolities, and such a serious, devoted man as yourself would be...

-pause-

Cassie: Oh.

-an row of empty whiskey bottles lay discarded around him-

Cassie: ...

-she gets on one knee and pressed two fingers against his neck-

-a moment's hesitation, before the young woman begins to furiously dig through his pockets-

-Cassie sits near her gate, quietly eating an unsalted pretzel from Auntie Chansey's. Behind her spectacles is an unusual glint in her eyes-

Ace: "Reminds me of you and Tsunami. Altough her parents belonged to Marshall, not your parents. Altough in that aspect, Jasper is the son of Blue Moon and Amethyst."

Filros: It seems you and your friends are working on some interesting stuff. Salamandra, one last present.

My hand goes to the second ball, while I call back Salamandra and Skotos moves closer, entering the battle.

Filros: By the way, that was a bit of an overkill, wasn't it?

Fortunately, I have a plan. Unfortunately, as the hit connects, I realize it just wasn't a good one.
They are slammed against the ground. Nothing but sheer pride allows them to stand. Ideal, they won't go down in one hit! However, it might be worst one they ever took. They don't look even able to stall.
I chuckle, as I realize I've lost this battle.

Filros: Skotos, back.

They comply, going for a U-Turn.

-Turns out Cyrus should have cared about that poison. Because Salazzle.-

I wait until they are finished, while my Gliscor floats around.

Filros: Just go all out, and let's see. *To Natalie* That was really impressive.

As soon as they are ready, Orion slams the claws and the tail on the ground, unleashing an Earthquake.
