Mireille sat down on the moss

Mireille: <Whatever you may want to talk about Ruby, its great to have a nice conversation with a friendly soul,, regardless of the topic.>

Aicha shrugged

Aicha: <If you want to, and its Aicha~>

She grinned

Aicha: <Say, you ever heard of.... Touga berries~?>

Magnus made an epic (in his mind) pose

Magnus: <I am the great Magnus. Who are you?>

Mistral nodded

Mistral: <Yes, I'm Mistral. Hello Ace.>

She moved a bit to the side so Ace could also lie (or rahter: sit) down in a nice sunny spot.

-The Raticate is struck by Tyto's Leafage, then goes in for a Bite-

-Maggie turns around, but is a bit late, as she has been pantsed by the Gumshoos while she does so-

Maggie: "...Need to work on my reaction time."

"Runt!"

Runt: <Uh, right, yeah, thing... There is a thing I should do, yes...>

-While Maggie pulls her pants back up, he goes up and chops the Gumshoos with a Brick Break, dealing heavy damage-

Ruby smiled. < Quite true, Mireille. Where are you from?>

Jessica warmed herself up and smuggled against Aicha? < Touga berries? What are those?>

Tsunami smirked. Gotta admire his attitude. Two can play at that game.

Tsunami: <I am Tsunami, bringer of waves and flooder of worlds! Care to spar?>

Ace sat down next to Mistral. <How are you?>

Tapu Village

Ephemera: <...?> -Weavile-

-she waves at Celeste-

Route 1, Sergey's Camp - Past

Mireille leaned a bit back, supporting herself on her arms as she thought back with a smile

Mireille: <That was... Route 102 in Hoenn, one in hindsight rather fortunate day both Magnus and myself were picked up by a then Kindergarten-aged Sergey. He cared for us at his home - although he technically wasn't even old enough to be a trainer... those were good old times indeed.>

Aicha visibly enjoyed the treatment, chuckling mischivously as she procured a berry from... somewhere

Aicha: <This is a Touga berry... and its rather perfect for a prank...> O:3 <Care to... test-eat it~?>

Magnus nodded happily

Magnus: <I shall accept your challenge then Tsunami... prepare to meet your defeat here - by my hands!>

He fistbumped and got into a battle-ready stance

Mistral: <I'm fine, its nice watching them all play. And its nice talking. Makes me feel good everytime.>

Tangerine: -to Celeste- Actually, Ula'ula Island is one of the most human-populated islands in Alola.

Fuego: -to Ephemera- <How else am I going to evolve?>

Ruby absentmindedly admired her roses. < That's wonderful. I remember when I met Shaun. I was just a little Budew in the Eterna Forest. He took me in, and we bonded. I'm glad I found him.>

Jessica looked at the berry. < I'm not afraid. Lemme see.> She took a bite of the berry. < Wow! That's really spicy! Can I have another one?>

Tsunami grinned and assumed an offensive stance. < Let's see what you've got!>

Ace chuckled. <'It is, isn't it? Sometimes I feel like the dad of the group. I'll fight and give it my all, but unlike Tsunami, I don't live for it.>

Celeste: <It is? But why haven't I seen any people here then?>

-she waves a ribbon at Ephemera-

Mireille: <It indeed sounds rather nice, Shaun seems like a very good trainer, its the same as with Sergey really, I feel like this team is my family, the only thing to do is keeping those two there...> -pointing at Sergey and Magnus- <In a proper and presentable state.>

Aicha made rather big eyes but then giggled, giving out another Touga berry

Aicha: <Now, where does your trainer store his water~?> >:3

She pointed towards a nearby bag

Aicha: <This is where Sergey does store his~> :3 <Can you follow my thoughts where this is going~?>

Magnus chuckled, extending his blades which soon turned green as he used Leaf Blade

Magnus: <Magnus says let the purge begin.>

Mistral nodded with a light smile, although she seemed to grow kinda sad as well

Mistral: <I... don't like to fight... but I can see why the others do I guess.>

Ruby nodded. < I kinda understand how you feel. Tsunami watches over all of us, but we mainly keep an eye on Jess and Jasper. I still don't understand that Eevee.>

Jessica grinned and nodded her head, a devilish look in her eyes. < This'll be fun. The problem is thst Shaun keeps his water in his backpack...>

Tsunami grunted a little as the blades hit her flippers. < Not bad. Now try this!> She leapt forward and spun as she used Drill Peck.

Ace looked at Mistral, concerned. <Are you okay?>

The GM House

-Dune and Deziree are watching Star Trek episodes in random order. Deziree says it'll be a "family ritual" on Sunday nights.. Dune is less than convinced.-

-They are presently in the middle of Star Trek Enterprise.-

-For the uninitiated, this is... not a great thing.-

Deziree: Oh, come on!

-She throws a pillow at the TV.-

Deziree: You took a dog on a diplomatic mission, Archer! DOGS PEE ON THINGS! And they had sacred trees! WHY WOULD YOU TAKE A DOG TO A PLANET OF SACRED TREES?! There religion probably has a Dog as their Giratina!

Dune: I vote to remove Enterprise from the viewing list.

Deziree: I'll give it ONE MORE episode.

One Episode Later...

Deziree: Okay, yeah, taking it off the list.

Dune: Amazing how the Vulcans don't trust humans when Archer makes a diplomatic faux pas his standard operating procedure.

Deziree: I can't stand this guy. No wonder the TV series stopped with him...

Dune: He's not even funny stupid! He's enraging stupid!

Deziree: I know, right?!

Verdant Cavern, past

Tyto: -Takes some damage- <Ack! I'll show you how good a hunter I can be!>

Work Up into Leafage!

Tyto: -Fluffs up before pelting the Raticate with more leaves-

Route 1, Sergey's Camp - Past

Mireille: <Tehee~ I see, I'm only happy that Loran seems to grow up to be a good Pokémon, makes life for me very much so easier.>

Aicha thought for a bit before suddenly seeming to have an idea

Aicha: <I have an idea... I distract Shaun and you quickly put the berry into his water>

Magnus blocked with his arms, although still was thrown backwards by the hit, grunting as he landed

Magnus: <Not bad>

He started sprinting again, this time using Psycho Cut, although just as in the contest he shaped the blade to look like a certain Mecha's while the other looked like the shield of said mecha.

Magnus: <SLASHING THROUGH TO THE FUTURE!>

Mistral shook her head

Mistral: <Its... nothing anymore, its from before I came into this team.>

-With one more Brick Break, Runt knocks out the Gumshoos-

Runt: <Th-that's it, right?>

-The Raticate, meanwhile, is struck by the powered-up Leafage, falling to low health-

-They place one claw on their chest and one above their head in a sort of post, baring their fangs-

Raticate: <Heh, with your loud boasting? What kind of hunter is that?>

-They spring forth and Hyper Fang Tyto as hard as they can-

Fuego: <But that's not special! I want to evolve in a duel with a friend!>

Tangerine: Weren't you just in a rush to evolve as soon as possible?

Fuego: <That's right! But the right way! As soon as possible!>

Tangerine: Um... -they sweatdrop-

And Celeste, most people live in the city on the other side of the island.

Verdant Cavern, past

Tyto: -Is brought down to the yellow- <Argh!>

-And pecks the Raticate repeatedly-

<One that'll beat you!>

Raticate: <Heh... maybe you beat me, but...>

-They faint-

Ilima: "And that should be it! Head to the back of the Cavern to face the Totem Pokemon!"

Verdant Cavern, past

-One quick heal later-

Okay, let's go.

Celeste: <They do?>

Mezzo: Wait, they do? Why are we not there then?

Forte: Uh... good question.

-Maggie nods and starts heading through-

-When they get to the next room, everyone can see that there is a clear view of the sky and it looks fairly open-

-In the middle of the room is a pedestal bearing a similarity to the trial gates everyone entered through with a glistening inside-

Verdant Cavern, past

...This is too open, it seems like a trap.

But one that needs springing regardless...

-And starts walking forward-

-A giant Gumshoos leaps off a ledge-

Gumshoos: <Correct, human!>

-A large Raticate soon joins her-

Raticate: <Because we know you want the Z-Crystal, but first...>

-The two pose together-

Totem Pokemon: <You're going to have to deal with us!>

-An aura around them flashes to life-

Ruby: <That's a stroke of good luck. Say, have you ever been to Sinnoh?>

Jessica: <Heh-heh, yeah, let's do this.>

Shaun yawned slightly. He took his backpack off and set it next to him. Lighting hopped into his lap and laid down, a smile on her face. < I'm gonna go to sleep...>

Shaun grinned. "Okay, Lightning, you do that."

Tsunami flinched slightly as the pink blades hit. < That's pretty good. But you don't watch your opponents resistances and weaknesses.>

Tsunami jumped into the air and unleashed a jet of water at Magnus.

Ace nodded and growled slightly. <I see. You met one of those, didn't you?>
