Phaz: Oh? Then good luck finding it. Though I suppose i'll need to find him sooner or later. Well, i suppose i'll see you again. Bye, then!

Maggie: "Uh, yeah, I do know a Joseph Nox and a Circe 'Lina', but... I didn't think they were married? The former's engaged to Ammy Crescendo."

-She paces a bit, still looking at the amassed group-

"Assuming you're talking about the ones from our timeline at least... I have no idea about the others."

-She then stops and looks directly at Locke-

"Not sure if that'll help any, but..."

Soujin: "Uh... bye?"

-He then resumes his search for Ilima-

-Locke's eyes widen at the mention of Umbra and Lina's names-

Locke: You know my parents?! That must be why my Pokemon are so excited!

Tharandul: <Took you long enough to figure out given how long you've been searching for them.>

Locke: Tharandul? Could you let me down?

-Tharandul hisses; Locke sighs-

-Tharandul smirks and drops him; Locke picks himself up and adresses Maggie-

You've seen my parents recently? What have they been doing the past 10 years? What's all this about alternate universes? Did they really get divorced? Dad remarried?!

Maggie: "Hm..."

"Yeah. I don't know all the details, but Um- Joseph was on Shakedrake Island until around the start of 2012 and then he and Lina started travelling with the J-Team, broke up, he starting dating Ammy, Lina later started dating someone named Amhlaidh/Jonathan, and... yeah, stuff. I haven't seen them much since they contracted a hivemind and spread it in a way that got them and some other people Slliuq might have mentioned, including my boyfriend, thrown in jail, but they did pop up for something earlier this month."

"Alternate universes... I don't really know how better to explain it than that? I think Joseph and Lina might have gotten together in the one where the dragons took over and humans are basically non-existent now?"

"And, well, I don't think they've married yet, assuming I didn't miss the wedding and nobody told me, but... yeah, like I said, I don't think Joseph and Lina were ever married in this universe. Joseph was married to someone named Duolis a while ago, though?"

Route 1, last night

-To Ever-

You go around the Alola region doing various trials set up by Trial Captains, and fighting the four Kahuna. It used to be something only 11 year olds did, but they've recently opened it up for older people. To my understanding, it's something like the Gym battles against the Orange Crew.

Route 1, today

-Is walking towards Iki Town-

I'll hopefully finally get an audience with Kahuna Hala today.

Locke: OK, what's going on here? They were my parents, they raised me, until they disappeared 10 years ago! Did Dad seriously hole himself up in an island for ten years then break up with Mom? And what do you mean they never married, they were plenty married when I was growing up, and there was certainly no dragon apocalypse involved!

Kagura: -waves her hands at Maggie- <Slow down, kid, you're breaking his brain!>

Locke: -pauses before speaking again- And who's this J-Team? Were my parents really teavelling with them? Do the other members know more?

Maggie: "Hrm... Well, let me put it like this. The reality you're aware of and the one I am have... some differences, it seems. There's probably some reason they don't match up, but I'm not totally sure what it is, but hopefully we'll find out."

"But, yeah, your parents were travelling with the J-Team and you could probably ask any members if you want to know more."

-Locke sighs and seems to visibly calm down-

Locke: Alright... Something strange is definitely going on here, but we can find a way... Do you know where we can find members of this J-Team that might help?

Maggie: "Well, you can try checking around Iki Town and Hau'oli City. I could also try sending a text, see if that helps."

Locke: They're around here? Great! And please do.

-Maggie nods and looks at her Pokegear-

Maggie: "Oh, cool, it's all charged up."

-She unplugs it from the charger, then sends out a text-

-Tagg may indeed find Hala, who is currently discussing the events of the previous night with a local police officer.-

Ever: ...Huh. Maybe I'll try it. Muninn could use the training.

-Muninn grumbles something-

Ever: I'm just saying, you're kind of terrible at everything.

Well that was mostly... uneventful.

Pikipek: -Perched on my shoulder and glaring at Tyto, perched on my other shoulder- <I wanted that piece of Grubbin...>

Emphasis on "mostly."

Muddy: -Looking ahead- <Pici, Tyto, that the Kahuna?>

Pikipek Pici: <Yeah. Don't know what that cop's doing here though.>

We should probably check it out.

(From different sides of town, a certain pair of siblings enter. On one side of the path, Belinda Treves, looking less upbeat than usual. On the other side, Simon Treves, looking about as stern as usual. Belinda has returned to a more summery outfit after bundling up for her time in the Resort Area; Simon is in more summery clothes than usual himself - which, in his case, amounts to replacing his red plaid jacket with a red plaid T-shirt and shedding his trapper hat.)

-Hala and the officer glance over at Tagg-

Officer: Thank you for the information, sir. I'll leave you to your duties.

-The cop leaves, and Hala turns to Tagg.-

Hala: Apologies, there was a break-in last night and someone made off with a Z-Ring. Judging by how frustrated my Primeape's been, I somehow doubt it was Tapu Koko this time.

-Nearby, a Primeape is banging his head against a tree.-
