-Ever takes the IOU from Elysia and vanishes it-

-he then takes the Mastercard, slides it behind his ear, and hands it back-

-his face has not changed from a mildly interested grin this entire time-

Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.

-Ashen manages to cut the tentacle at her away, but is grazed by the Shadow Orb.-

Ashen: "I recall those hurting more..."

-She runs at Penumbra, firing her pistol again, and attempting to run him through with her sword. Should she hit with her sword, a very large flash of Auric energy would ensue as the Blade's absorbed energy is released.-

-Siobhan goes to spear Penumbra again.-

-Zhi Shen Lung focuses on protecting Gogmazios and Dalamadur from attacks.-

-Who use Dragon Rush and Dragon Breath, respectively.-

All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.

Infinity Tower Boss Embattled

-The encowled and armored individual has mostly been trying to dodge for now because like hell are they going to try and take down a frickin' huge weird dragon thing with just their bare hands. That being said, the nearby tentacles that came out of the ground give a good attempt at throwing one of these runed rocks at it!-

Brown-Clad Figure: Hya!

-The rock hits the tentacle and pretty much shatters immediately, revealing a somewhat confused Murkrow in a flash of purple light-

Murkrow: Ah good, they functioned as intended.

Figure: ... Karliah! Where were you when I tried to call you earlier?!

-The murkrow flies over to the figure and perches on their shoulder-

Karliah the Murkrow: Apologies Fox, the temporal stoppage of your world has made travel from the Ebon almost impossible. However this beacon of power has broken the seal enough that the Lady can send you her cherished weapon and the runestones to call her Nightingales.

The Figure who is called Fox?: Her cherished weapon? You mean the lockpicks!? -They hold up the very mundane lockpicks and slightly glares-

Karliah: Her bow, call it to your hand Fox! -Karliah takes flight and starts attempting to lay some Sucker Punch flybys on any pieces of Penumbra she feels confident striking-

The Fox: Okay, okay... Uh... -They hold out their hand and concentrate- Ka Bow! -Nothing- Summoning skill: Shape of Bow! -Nothing- Shadow Word: Bow! -Ah there we go, a very glowy and seemingly not much there longbow forms in the figure's hand- Aha! Now to... Figure out how to use a bow and arrow... I've never had to use one of these before...

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.

-The spreading Aura begins to form into a large Cirlce of Sealing as Hikaru folds his hands before him and begins to pray, concentrating-

-Butterscotch falls to the ground-

Mezzo: Great, now what?

Sunny: <Hey! You still have me! Plus a bunch of other Pokémon! Why don't you send another one out?>

-Mezzo makes a motion to do so, then notices Ever's weapon stand-

-and starts running toward it-

Mezzo: Hey! Hey! What do you think you're doing with my sword collection?

Do not fear power... fear those who wield it.

I'd like to extend a hearty "fuck you" to my brother for playing Counter-Strike for a gazillion hours, which meant I couldn't post without making his game lag. My availability seems fated to be inconsistent.

(It is at this point that a Lucario suddenly drops onto Penumbra from the sky and proceeds to treat the dragon creature's head as an impromptu trampoline, using the momentum from a flurry of Bullet Punches to bounce up and down.)

Borax: <Wheeeeeeeee! :D>

(Over to the side, Ragnar, who just lobbed Borax at the dragon with a combination of his considerable strength and Borax's apparent Auric ability to bounce absurd heights, briefly looks smug. Then he notices Ever's stand, starts and stamps over with a murderous look in his eyes.)

Ragnar: Excuse me, do you have a license to sell those?!

Tastes better on the way back down.

Daydre looks around and notices Penumbra.

"Oh we're fighting that aren't we... Yeah we are. Okay.- Hey are those swords?" She shifts her attention to Ever's stand.

-Vierr notices the Artifacts being pulled toward Penumbra-

Vierr: NO!

-He creates Aura chains that wrap around his hands and the hilt of the Purple Sword, which yanks him toward the monster. He aims it to plunge into Penumbra, clinging to his side.-

Vierr: You don't deserve this power! You never deserved it!

-Elysia glances back at the situation, then at Breeze-

Elysia: <So, any chance you could help us out just one moment? A Skill Swap or something so it doesn't end up stealing this sword I just bought? I'll throw in his fourthborn child.>

DS: Hmm... The opponent's a ghost-type, huh...? Then perhaps this would be the time to... (searches through her bag for something)

Ray: (tries to have both Meowstic help out despite the type disadvantage) What are you doing?

DS: (pulls out what appears to be a plastic toy wand) All right, I've been waiting for an oppurtunity to do this!

Ray: (blinks) To do what?

Marionette: (floats down, is wearing a Banettite)

DS: (waves the toy wand) Cure Up! Ra-pa-pa! (presses a Mega Stone placed on the toy wand's handle and points the wand at Marionette) Marionette, Mega Evolve!

- Marionette is enveloped in a purple light, Mega Evolving into her Mega form -

Mega!Marionette: <Hehehe... I finally get to show off the power of this form...>

DS: Use Shadow Claw!

- Mega!Marionette flies in to attack -

-Ren!Arika slips back into the shadows-

-Penumbra takes the Dragonbreath and Dragon Rush and blasts both dragons with a Dazzling Gleam-

-He swipes Vierr and the Purple Sword to the ground with a Shadow Claw-

-He takes several Bullet Punches to the head and swipes Borax off with a Fire Punch.-

-He takes a Poison Jab and Stone Edge from Seishirou and Fuuma and retaliates with an Earthquake hitting anyone on the feild possible-

-He retaliates at Marionette witn a Shadow Ball-

-He then notices the sealing ceremony-

Penumbra(?):    No!   

-He grabs Hikaru in his jaws with a Crunch. Momentarily distracting him from anyone else-

-The pattern remains but dulls, it seems like it's nearly ready, but hasn't completed-

Ahem, thanks to Blitz for letting me do this .3.

-A trio of black bombs fly at Penumbra(?)'s face and explode into bubbles!-

-Gogmazios takes the attack to the face, and flies around aimlessly, partially blind.-

-Dalamadur dodges, and continues to Dragon Breath Penumbra.-

-Ashen runs up and vaults on Penumbra, stabbing her sword into him, hoping to distract him from disrupting the sealing ritual. Also getting out of the Earthquake because no longer on the ground.-

Ashen: "Stop that, Arceusdamn wyrm!"

-Siobhan evidently has a similar idea, hopping off Amatsu and using the attraction on her spear to land next to Penumbra, attempting to impale him on it on the way down.-

-Amatsu Dragon Rushes at Penumbra.-

-Zhi Shen Lung levitates above the Earthquake, and starts pelting Penumbra with Psyshocks.-

All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.

-Seeing the Auric Artifacts getting dragged towards Penumbra and noting that them being absorbed by him would be Very Bad^TM-

-The Zubat is hit, not taking much damage because Leech Life, but taking a bit more because weakness-

DS: Okay, then! Shadow Sneak!

- Mega!Marionette giggles as she slips into the shadows and moves towards Penumbra(?) at high speed -

Ray: (to the female Meowstic) Shadow Ball!

Female Meowstic: (fires a Shadow Ball at Penumbra(?))

-Vierr is smacked to the ground. He frantically moves to make sure the headdress doesn't fall off, and gets up.-

Vierr: Your power pales in comparison to that which I inherited from the Auric Queen! You will be destroyed!

-He takes in the power of the Aura Nexus, then makes a massive telekinesis-enhanced leap before plunging the sword down into Penumbra's back, the blade extending into a huge construct.-

-Kaius looks up at Vierr's attack.-

Kaius: That... is worrying. There's nothing we can do for him now, though!

-He and Famire Dragon Rush again while he is distracted.-

---

-Elysia watches Doc's move-

Elysia: Oh, nevermind, we're all good! Thanks!

-She scampers off, back toward the battlefield-

Psyche clutches tightly to the Diadem so it won't fall off, while her mons are thrown backward by the Shadow Claw. Marceline is out cold, but Selene stands back up.

~...That is an issue. Selene, are you ok to fight still?~

Selene nods slowly. <Y-yes. Barely, but I can still go on.>

Psyche nods. ~Shadow Ball again. We must end this quickly.~

Psyche starts trying to calculate trajectories for good Teleport locations for proper Meteor Kicks, before shaking her head. ~...No, a ghost type would just phase through...~

-The second ability change stops items from being drawn to Penumbra-

-Additionally, the Shout from Draca makes Penumbra noticeably more vulnerable to the volley of attacks aimed at him, including a sword slash from Ren!Arika and an accompanying Night Slash from Tiana. It's still only moderate damage...-

-Untill the Super Fang from Scouter cuts his health straight in half, making him much more vulnerable-

Penumbra(?):    Rrgh... No! I will be victorious!   

-He roars, summoning Surf waves that engulf the battlefeild and reach up to batter the flyers-

-The Fox is shaken about by the Earthquake and quickly tries to find cover from the barrage of Surf coming afterwards. Meanwhile Karliah the Murkrow is flying so unaffected by the Earthquake but then dives back to the Fox to get into the same cover-

-With all the attack hitting, Hikaru manages to wrest himself from Penumbra(?)'s jaws-

-He touches down-

-Right on the edge of his circle-

Hikaru:N...Ngh....as...my descendant would say...

-He pours his Aura into the circle, making it brighter than ever-

Smile you sonova bitch. Judgement Seal!

-Brilliant beams of light erupt from the circle, all piercing in nature, and all blasting straight for Penumbra(?)-

Scouter: <Hah, succe->

-The Surf buffets Scouter and takes out Slightly-

-Maggie recalls the latter-

Maggie: "...Well, it works."

"Up to try something else?"

-Scouter nods-

-He then rushes at Penumbra with a Low Kick-

-Buddy is hit by the Surf, but makes it up with Ingrain and Leech Seed-

Buddy: <Hm...>

Hajime: "Uh... How about Growth?"

Buddy: <I could try that.>

-He grows somewhat, boosting his Attack Powers-

-The Zubat is hit by the Surf-

Zubat: <Aw... this isn't fun anymore...>

-He goes to perch on the Punk Guy's hat-

Punk Guy: "I... don't think this is really about fun."

Though it does seem like those others have a better grasp on this situation than I do anyway.

-Vierr notices the water rising quickly, and immediately pushes a surge of Fighting Aura through the extended blade, causing the construct to ignite into a chain of explosions like the Obscura shards did before. The force knocks him off Penumbra's back, right into the Surf flood — which, for the record, also sweeps Kaius and Famire away before they can use another attack.-

-Elysia, meanwhile, digs her newly purchased sword into the ground to stay in one spot as the waves rush over her. Despite not needing air, she still exhales a bunch of bubbles for seemingly no other reason than dramatic effect.-

-Blitz, Currently human again and wearing the garb of a Ransei era ninja despite having no (yet) known ancestors from that timeframe, lands in front of Jason Hikaru alongside Mondo the Clefable, who puts up a semi-spherical Protect barrier around the trip to keep the massive Surf at bay-

Blitz: "Hope we didn't keep you waiting"

-Though admittedly, that big of a move is putting a strain on the mon-
