-he widens his eyes at the sight of Deziree's lovely dress-

-and then blushes at the sight of the man escorting her-

Focus, Hudson. Focus.

Blitz: "Ah- Wait, you figured out where they're at?"

-Blitz blinks at Deziree's entrance, it takes him a moment to realize he should probably stand if everyone else is-

-This is one of those times when being 5'4" is almost annoying...-

-Bah, calling time shinanigans. Tori is there watching with the Heidens too-

Church of the Radiant Sun

-The escort takes Deziree to the dias before nodding and taking a seat at the front row. Deziree goes up the steps and takes her place counter to Dune.-

-The escort leans over to Chrome. His voice is unmistakable.-

Dr. Mobius?!: She is not the first young woman I've had to give away.

Lightpriest: It is with brilliant joy that we are brought here today, under the loving rays of our Sun, to give witness as two friends, Derek and Deziree, make the most important vows of their lives within our humble house. They have, both long ago and, eh heh, more recently fought hard for their friendship, and from that bloomed love as only those whose souls are truly intertwined can experience. Both Derek and Deziree have their own personal vows that they would like to read for us today.

-Dune fiddles with his fingers for a moment, though he doesn't have any notes in them. His face is a fuzzy, embarrassed blush.-

Dune: Deziree,

You are my best friend. Today I give myself to you.

Using the love that we share as a vessel, through the pressures of the present and the uncertainties of our future, I can promise that you will always have my deepest love, my fullest devotion, and my most tender care.

I promise to love you, to always strive to encourage and inspire you, to laugh with you, and to comfort you in times of sorrow and struggle.

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, when life seems easy and also when times become difficult, when our love is simple, and when things becomes complicated.

Deziree: Dune, three years ago you captured my heart by being exactly who you are. The sweetest, most loving, compassionate, and sensitive person I have ever known.

You have believed in me when no one else would, and you have shown me how to love with passion, purity, and unconditional acceptance. I'm not sure a lifetime is long enough to return all you have given to me, but I promise the rest of my days I'll spend by your side.

-Dune turns back to Deziree. His head felt so light and fuzzy he could have sworn he was having a fever dream.-

Dune: I do.

Lightpriest: And you, Deziree Galvani, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?

-Deziree's mind roiled and reeled until an answer shot through the turmoil with all the clarity of a second dawn.-

Deziree: I do.

-The lightpriest gives a warm smile. He motions down the aisle, and a young lady with turquoise blue hair and wide-rim glasses comes up the aisle holding a pillow with two electrum rings gently placed upon it.-

Satele: ~I thought you said I would be the flower girl, not the ring bearer. Aren't boys supposed to be the ring bearer?~

Selene: ~Oh shush! Other psychics can hear you, you know! Plus, plans changed!~

-Satele walks up the steps, careful not to step on her dress. At the top, she holds the pillow out, and the bride and groom take their opposite rings.-

-The two of them present their left hands across from one another, while they use their right hands to place the ring on each other's ring fingers.-

Lightpriest: And, under the light, you may kiss.

-Dune slowly pulls back Deziree's veil. The two lock eyes for a moment... before grabbing each other by the shoulders simultaneously and kissing.-

Rill: Did... did they have the same idea?

Garuda: I can confirm that at least Deziree did. It's a good thing they didn't try to tilt each other, or that would have ended awkwardly.

-Ren, his team, and the Velvet Room denizens sit for the cermony and applaud as Mr. and Mrs. Galvani-Morton kiss.-

Shun notices Tex and quickly pulls his hat back on, doing his best to look like a superior officer despite being barely more than five feet tall.

Shun: Ah, you must be Corporal Barrister. I must say, it's been a long time since I last talked to a fellow officer of the International Police.

He produces the file on Batastrophe and her companions and opens it up, going slightly red as he tries to cover a doodle of himself fighting a giant Steelix.

Shun: These are the suspects we're looking for. Just, um... ignore the illustration in the corner.

Duniree Wedding

Jason:-is literally jumping-WOOOOOOO! WOWOWOOOOO~!

-Lane chuckles-

-Looks at Tori-

-Blushes-

-Smiles and looks back to the front to clap-

-Maria and Iggy notice this and giggle-

Wedding!

Des is visibly tearing up.

"So beautiful....two souls...mingling'...some other new age crap...so beautiful...."

He grabs Pria and uses her to wipe away the tears, causing the Whimsicott to flail helplessly.

Both Sergey and Alyesha will be if allowed also be teleported to a certain wedding into a back row

-Joseph blows his nose, burying his face in a tissue. He gives an inelegant sniffle, his eyes filled with happy tears, and smiles at Des-

New age crap makes the world go round!

-he goes back to happy tears. Munn doesn't cry, but it's clear from his face that he is immensely happy for his friend-

-Margaret applauds lightly-

-Jacob rolls his shoulders again and looks around, unsure if he should be clapping so he just gives a light and polite golf clap-

-Sylva cheers and Regina smiles and claps-

-Edge hangs down from the ceiling to clap and to strew confetti and flower petals and candy across the entire assembly-

Blitz: "Heh..."

-He claps politely, then rubs his head after a hard piece of candy bounces off it-

-Tori glances back at Lane just as he looks back at the newly wedded couple. She claps as well-

(Belinda is punching the air and whooping with delight as the big damn kiss happens. Alex, meanwhile, is still rigid, seemingly unaware of anything happening. Svavel, meanwhile, is too busy repressing his urge to retch at the flowery speeches to react.)

-Tex inspects the case files.-

Tex: Perhaps we should work together. I'm more of an enforcer than a mastermind, as you might tell.

(Note: Tex is 6 feet 2 inches tall, and regularly partakes in boxing.)

The Battle Zone, though I didn't figure out exactly where they took them.

-Claps-

So that's the first J-Team wedding, and there's still two more planned to go.

-Joseph blows his nose again, turning to Alex-

Shun: I... I see. Technically I'm off-duty at present at my superior's behest, but I suppose brains and brawn might be a winning combination.

He hands the file to Tex.

Shun: You can keep that if you wish. I have copies. Unfortunately, despite my investigative skills, my information is incomplete. I only have the aliases and attire of the suspects on record. Despite their cartoonish appearance, I would advise caution if you encounter them. My attempts to apprehend them at Sootopolis Power Plant and Mossdeep Space Center only ended without injury thanks to a... an old colleague of mine.

-Chrome applauds, Arika cheers-

Phenac City, outside the church in what little shade exists in this desert town

-A Pent arrives, looking as prim and proper as he can get in his regular hat and trenchcoat. It's actually pretty impressive how well he's cleaned up, everything's washed and neatly ironed and he adorns a little silver brooch to his hat as he steps out of the shadows-

-He looks towards the chapel and... Hold on, he needed to check the time. He searched around for a clock for a while before giving up and checking his phone and... Ooooooooooh frig. Friggity friggin' frag frig fuck. He was late, like drastically late because if they started on time then they probably have already left for the reception and maybe even finished that and... Hold on, why is the main window of the church busted?!-

-Alright, well that may be a worse thing than just being late. So many possible problems he completely couldn't help solve because he was so dang late to the wedding... Okay, now he's feeling three different kinds of terrible but he decides to stay back in the shadows and wait-

Duniree Wedding

Erin had sort of accidentally hitched a ride with Dune while he teleported everyone. Either way, everyone was invited! Of course she would come. After clapping, now that the recital was over, she waits for the right opportunity to speak.

Erin: That was so exciting! I have not been to a wedding in years. This was fun!

Not quite sure how to engage in further conversation with a bunch of strangers, Erin sort of fiddles with her umbrella. She does not open it, thankfully. That would be... awkward.

Blitz: -Finishes clapping-

-"Ah, well. Not familiar with the area but I'll see if I can help"

-He glances back at Erin seated nearby, silently wondering how worried he should be about sort of bringing her somewhere that the J-team might be a little loose with details they wouldn't normally share to a stranger-

-But it's a wedding... It couldn't be too risky, right?-

-To Erin- "Yeah, uh. Pretty exciting, huh?"

-Tori squeezes Lane's hand, tinting slightly-
