-Kieran blinks at a few choice pieces of information from Jacob's rant, but doesn't dwell on it yet. He turns to Hikari when the door is closed behind them.-

Kieran: ...When he wakes up we've gotta tell him. We've gotta ask Sakura about it first but then we've gotta tell him.

Eterna City

"What if Sakura doesn't want us to though?" asked Hikari

Eterna City

Kieran: Then I'm gonna feel really bad about something and I'm not sure what aspect of the situation I'm gonna feel particularly bad about but it'll be something.

-He starts calling Sakura-

Hikari just watches as Kieran proceeds to do the whole thing.

"Hello?" asked Sakura as she answered the call

Eterna Center

Kieran: Hey, Sakura, there's a crazy mindscape aspect of mine and Sarah's running amok and Jacob's asleep but he just shouted at us and I think he mentioned something about Phosphora but that's aside the point I've gotta know would you mind if we revealed the whole Shingeko thing to him so we can make this a whole lot easier

-He doesn't stop for breath-

There's a moment of silence as Sakura tries to take in all that information

"All right, first of all please don't go around telling people my secrets, there's enough people knowing about it as is..."

Jakari's Room

-Well, Jacob has quickly entered REM stage sleep due to it being one of the lightest stages of sleep and is now dreaming-

-About what?-

Jacob's Dream

-Jacob is tethered to a massive elm tree the size of an island floating through space, in a space suit that looks like a Farfetch'd-

-He is currently trying to smack a red rubber ball through a hoop a large distance away-

-Just as he passes it the tree is a toy airplane and he is a very very tiny person flying over a children's toy room, trying to avoid a large toy Hydreigon in pursuit-

-Then he's pounced on by a normal sized Purrloin and eaten-

Jakari's Room

-Jacob sits up-

"..."

"Why...?"

-He relocates to the bed and tries to sleep again-

-Kieran sighs-

Kieran: I know, I know, I'm just... I'm kinda stressed out. Remember the aspect that once tried to kill you and Blitz? That's the one that's escaped. And I already asked Blitz for help and I just went to Jacob but he got grumpy about all these secrets he knows are being kept from him and Hikari's here and I think that aspect is going to go out and find the Avenger and she's already spilled the beans about their new secret identity and I don't know why but I can't think these things through like I normally do and I think that might be because of the particular aspect that escaped and this is not a good time for me and I really didn't think this through because I'm in the middle of a hallway talking to you about this instead of somewhere sensible and quiet and aaaaaaaaaaagh

Eterna City

"I think you should just lie down a little and try to relax, maybe drink some hot chocolate or take a good bath, anything that takes the stress away. I'm not sure if I really get what's going on but me and Blitz are gonna take care of it, plus Hikari will be helping too. We've handled that before so I think we can do it again." said Sakura

"The secret is not really important for this anyway, all it matters is that we solve the problem, right?" asked Hikari

Eterna Center

Kieran: ...Right. Yeah. Okay. You've got this under control. Right. I can't do anything anyway about...

...

Kieran: ...about... myself. Okay.

-He sighs-

Kieran: Thanks for the advice.

Eterna Center

Etran: So, um, does Damburst usually try to scare people like that?

Eterna Center

Sakura sighs. "I'm not saying that you can't do anything, I'm just saying that you should relax a little. Any help you could provide would be really appreciated, but at the same time I'm worried about your health, you know? Just hearing you talk right now made it really clear that you could use some peace. Why don't you try hanging out with a relaxed person like, I dunno, Duke?"

Eterna Pokemon Center, last night

Scheherezade: -checks watch- Well, I'm going to go back to my hotel and sleep, thanks again, Tagg.

-Walks out, motioning for Balthazar to follow, which he promptly does.

Scheherezade: Right, where did Dune run off too...

Dunyazade: -is sitting outside, pouting-

Scheherezade: Dune, we're going back to the hotel.

Dunyazade: Kay.

Eterna Forest, today

-Scheherezade, Dunyazade, and Balthazar are walking to Floaroma Town-

Balthazar: -Glancing around, suspicious of something.- <I do not like this.>

Dunyazade: Eh, it's probably just the forest. Creeps me out, too.

Balthazar: <That is not it. Something is not right.>

Scheherezade: -holds up a hand, motioning for a stop.- He's right, there aren't any birds, or insects. It's cliche, but I'll say it anyways: It's Quiet… Too Quiet...

Dunyazade: Waiting for it...

Balthazar: <For what?>

Dunyazade: <The other shoe to drop.>

Balthazar: <I...> -he trails off, noticing a shadow moving amongst the trees. <There. See it?>

Dunyazade: Yeah...

Balthazar: -Drawing the sword, the specter flickering, before returning to relatively solid- <Another... Ambu->

-He was cut off mid-word by a Scizor tackling him, or at least trying to and instead sailing through the phantasmal projection.-

Balthazar: <Bandit! Have at thee!>

-The Scizor turns, and with almost-glowing red eyes gives Balthazar a piercing glare.-

-Balthazar settles into a fighting stance.-

-Meanwhile, a Magnezone has settled in to fighting Dunyazade-

Scheherezade: The hell?

-Balthazar swings at the Scizor, the attack imbued with Obscura.-

-The Magnezone lunges at Dunyazade, who counters with a fire-type Hidden Power.-

-Is currently knocking on Jacob's door-

Jakari's Room

-BWAMCRASH-

"Ow."

"Just a sec."

-There's the sounds of sheets rustling, grumbling, and then closer to the door-

"I don't think I've ever been so popular in my life..."

-He opens the door, wearing a multiple layered bedsheet toga-

"Oh, heya Tagg. What can I do for you?"

Floaroma Town, Orchidea Hotel

Phaz: Well, we should go now, if y'all ready.

Eterna Center, last night

Damburst: <Depends on my mood.>

Maggie: "He says it depends on his mood."

Kieran: Right, sorry... thank you. I'll... figure something out. Visiting Duke sounds like a good idea. Later, though.

-He exhales, calming down.-

Jakari's Room

Jacob: "Oh. Well. Um. Thanks! I don't... think anyone's just checked up on me before."

"... Hey can I ask you something random?"

-He heads back into the room and waves Tagg in, walking over to a chair next to the now bare mattress- "How often do you know someone is keeping secrets from you? Like, a lot of secrets. Friends mostly."

-To Jacob-

Jacob, I'm an empath, I know all the time when people are keeping secrets from me. Though thinking back some of them could've been less hypocritical about it. Of course, I can't get too mad at them because I have many secrets of my own.

Jakari's Room

Jacob: -He peaks his hands under his nose and ponders this for a moment- "... Mm. Fair enough."

-He is quiet for a moment before speaking again- "I'm not used to secrets. I can keep them just fine, I have for a few people back in Hoenn. But growing up with a powerful Psychic, even one who respects mental privacy, did not leave a lot to be hidden. It... is an odd feeling. The lack of trust. From people who I'd trust my life with."

Jakari's Room

-To Jacob-

So what brings this up exactly?

Jakari's Room

Jacob: -He flicks his eyes up to meet Tagg's before they go back to resting on the floor- "... A while ago Kieran came in here asking for my help with something. Murdery Mindscape aspect now real, have it all under control. But once Shingeko came up I knew he and Hikari were hiding something from me. I thought Shingeko was Hikari, but the ninja has already apparently visited the Armarin twins' mindscape. Scapes? Scape at the time at least I assume and Hikari had no idea what any of that was."

-He stops for a moment, then continues- "She could have been playing dumb but the idea she did just because I'd never heard of her visiting Mindscapes seems needless. I could have just as readily assumed she had and they could have just talked about her visiting were that the case. It would have been easier."

-He shakes his head- "I talk too much. At any rate, this, on top of the whole Avenger deal and then a whole slew of many other things have caused me just... I don't know. I feel like no one trusts me and even though I find these things out eventually, it's like I'm the only one locked out of the loop. It's... disconcerting."
