Eskay: At least it wasn't too terribly bad. I mean, you could have accidentally ended up like me, with a giant hole in your chest. At least this scar isn't going to make breathing painful.

-He puts away the first aid kit, then picks up the sword-

Eskay: At least now I know giving you sharp things for your birthday is a bad idea.-

-What he doesn't notice is a bunch of tiny purple sparks on the sword where he's holding it.-

Sarah: ...I used to have nightmares too, about things that happened to me and my loved ones. Every night for over a year. My trauma wasn't anywhere near as bad as yours, but I know you can pull through it just like I did.

Heh, good point. And yeah, people learn very fast that I get waaay too excited when given sharp and sparkly things.

-sees the purple sparkles coming from the sword-

-He very, very carefully takes his hand away from the sword. The sparks linger on his fingers for a few seconds before flickering away.-

Eskay: ...Interesting...

-Sarah hugs-

Sarah: You know what helps? Ice cream. I'm gonna go get Eskay and Rebecca, and we'll treat you to ice cream.

Projection!Director: -to Pent- Sorry, I honestly don't know. But if you can at least find out his location, we can plan a rescue...

Ren: -angry at Belcitane, and annoyed that such a simple move catch them off guard- Duly noted.

-to the Group- Well, any chance to go at any sort of leisurely pace was just shot down.

-Director's projection fades and Sorceress causes Ula to vanish with her emerald-green flames.-

-Ren and his aspects turn to follow Jacob. Someone will find the gate has a deadbolt, but no lock so it's easily opened.-

Eskay: Pretty much. When Sarah and I split, we were told that due to complicated heritage stuff, I had potential for manipulating Obscura while she had it for Aura, although neither of us were anywhere close to unlocking it without outside help. Although...

-He picks up the purple sword-
