In the middle of the night, the kitchen of the small house is pitch black, only the LEDs of the microwave clock and a couple chargers on the wall breaking the darkness. That is, until the front bedroom's door opens up, the light spilling out reaching through the foyer and the short hall to reach the kitchen island before dying out. Turning on the pantry light, a young man looks for a midnight snack, telling himself he really shouldn't have any more junk food but not caring enough to stop from grabbing some. Returning to his room, he leaves the kitchen once again in darkness.

Jeff: -sigh- "I really need to get out more again. The only times I've left the house lately are to go out to eat. I need to go and actually do something, but like hell am I just holing up at PEFE HQ again doing lab work…"
