"<All right then! You can count on us!>" said Teishi, confidently.

"<There's just one little problem though.>" Ryu pointed out, drawing everyone's attention, but then he noticed Samantha and kept himself silent.

Time had passed, as it often did, and Rex found himself finishing cleaning up from his team's mealtime, the group gathered up before him. Recalling each of them sans Rascal and Kim, the boy nodded to himself before picking up the Flareon and turning to the Lucario.

Rex: Mom and Lyra should be back soon. I guess we should get ready to head back to the Center.

Lucario!Kim: <Sounds like a pla- ...!>

Kim's fur suddenly stood on end as she looked about, an intense expression on her features.

Rex: Huh? What's wrong, Ki- ah!

And then, the object of her distress became apparent as the wolfess looked upwards, a green shape making its way towards them and landing on the ground.

Tropius: Tropiiii~

Anistar Pokemon Center - Yesterday

-Herbert raises an eyebrow at Samantha.-

Herbert: Um... well, I'm sure I could get my hands on one pretty easily. Why do you ask?

Anistar City

-Herbert raises an eyebrow at Ryu, but then notices Samantha and rolls his eyes at her.-

Herbert: Such endearment. What next? Am I just going to be "boy" from now on? "That guy", perhaps?

-Teacher still doesn't seem to recognise Angelica.-

Teacher: <...When was this? Because you wouldn't have been the first to do such a thing. Or the last, for that matter.>

-Herbert frowns at Samantha.-

-Kirk rather awkwardly peeks his head out from behind Herbert.-

-Teacher thinks for a moment.-

Teacher: <...I seem to recall a similar incident. Though why would you call yourself a Jellicent if you're clearly a Granbull?>

Anistar City: Anistar Sundial

The Tropius that had landed before them flattened the leaves on its back and gave another cry, before lowering its knees, allowing the person on its back to dismount. As they did, the source of the duo's reaction became clear, the figure placing her hands on her hips.

Rebecca: There you are. And you have your Lucario. Good. Come with me.

Rex blinked in confusion, looking at Kim for a moment before turning his gaze back to the younger girl.

Rex: What? What do you want? And why should I come with you?

Rebecca: Because if you don't, I can just leave Kalos right now with this.

Flashing her Mega Bracelet, the girl smiled coldly at the boy, Rex's face twisting into a grimace before he sighed.

Rex: ...Ugh. You know, you could at least give your name before you abduct people for favors.

Rebecca: Rebecca. Charmed. Get on.

Anistar, yesterday

Samantha: So do I. Good night.

-she flops over-

Anistar, today

Samantha: It would seem as though we both have new mons. Where did you get this Lucario?

Illusion Grunt: That is an agreement that I can drink to!

The grunt slams down the rest of her coffee.

Illusion Grunt: Ooh yeah~ That hit the spot! I tell yah, despite that Constantin guy being an A-grade creep, he has a Flareite's taste in coffee.

Constantin starts conversing with small groups of grunts, oddly showing more emotion than he usually does.

Kahina leans by the doorway, keeping a watchful eye on Constantin as he does so.

-The other Illusion Member also drains what little remains of her coffee.-

Illusion Member ♀: This stuff could be made of ground-up Eevee kits for all I care. I'm just glad to have something that doesn't taste like watered-down mud.

Kahina: One of two things. Either she would admire him or she would loathe him. There is no middle ground with Constantin. He has such a.. divisive personality

Illusion Grunt: The standard coffee served here is quite atrocious, innit it?
