-Letter launches himself forward, both of his swords spinning wildly as obscura flows around him-

Hookwolf: -Is still spying on Crow-

-Though now he's come down from the roof and is hiding in a trash can-

Kaen: "Once, there was a Songbird who lived in the woods. The Songbird was all that was beautiful and bright and good. And all who heard the Songbird were happy, happier than ever before. No one could hear the Songbird's tune and harbor ill feelings in their hearts. And the woods prospered, and the Songbird sang with joy and laughter.

But then, one day, something arrived in the woods. Something old. Something dark. Something hungry. A shadow, it slipped under the trees, and over the rocks, keeping to the darkness, avoiding the dappled sunlight. Finally, the shadow reached a point where it could not advance without leaving cover. And so it took on a new form, a form familiar to it as breathing is to us. The shadow became a wolf. And so the Wolf came to the woods. Soon, the Wolf came upon the Songbird's tree, where the Songbird was singing with laughter and joy. And the shadow that was the Wolf could not bear to hear such beauty. The Wolf lashed out, killing many of the Songbird's friends. Blood stained the ground, and the Songbird cried, but still the Songbird sang with joy, even as the tears of grief trickled down its cheeks. And so the Wolf left for the night. But the next day the shadow that was the Wolf returned. And again its dark heart lashed out, in blood and pain and death. But still the Songbird sang, song unbroken. And the days past in such a way, until at last the Songbird's friends were all dead. The Songbird's tune was faint, failing, slowing, coming to an end. And still the shadow that was the Wolf came. And at last the Songbird broke. In rage and grief and pain, the Songbird sang a new song. A song of shadow and blood and fire. And the woods burned with a righteous fury like the wrath of old gods. And not even the shadow that was the Wolf could withstand such an inferno, and its form burned away, leaving it again as a weak, tiny, hateful dark thing, which slipped away down into the earth through cracks in the rocks. And the Songbird sang a dirge, one last terrible note, before flying silently into the fire, to pass from the woods for good.

But still the shadow exists, and still it walks the land dark and hateful. Few things can harm such an old and evil thing. A dagger forged of metal not of this world, given in love, wielded by one pure of heart. A fire lit by a song sung in the lost innocence of one once joyous. There may be more ways to injure the shadow that was the Wolf, but if there are, they have been lost to time and darkness. Now, I bid you goodbye. Speak not of this story for at least three days hence, lest you attract the attention of something far worse."

The red haired sweeper shuffles away, whistling to himself.

Kraid: <Hey! You can't fly away like that! Hold still so I can—> -stomps on the ground-

-while stomping, Kraid is completely oblivious to the Hawlucha foot headed straight for him, and it lands with a sickening crack-

Kraid: <Urk...>

-before he can react, he is divebombed by Grayson-

Grayson: <Take this!>

-the attack doesn't do much, but is enough to send him to his knees; the extra spikes break off his body, and he lands on the ground with a heavy slam-

Matthew: No way! That's cheating!

Fortis: Nuh uh! We beat him fair and square!

Matthew: Shut up, cheater! Okay, fine! Show them what you can do, Hashmal!

-Matthew sends out a Tyrantrum-

Hashmal the Tyrantrum♂: <Who dares stand before me?>

Matthew: You'd better give up now 'cause he's the most awesome Dragon type! Hashmal, Head Smash on that fighter bird!

Hashmal: <None will stand in defiance of the king!>

-Hashmal runs straight at Kuzco, head bent down-

Fortis: Use Fly again!

Grayson: <You got it!>

-Grayson takes off into the sky, readying himself for another aerial attack-

-The Meowstic is struck by the physical super-effective attack used by the mon the challenger just sent out and faints-

-The Meowstic is then recalled by Olympia-

-She hands the Psychic Badge and Calm Mind TM to the challenger and the challenger might get a strange feeling that the conclusion to the other challenger's battle was/is going to be similar-

-Dawg however, is not occupied with said activity and, in looking around, notices Hookwolf and starts barking at the can-

-Happens to be in the area when I notice Crow and Zrone-

Zrone: -Turns around to face Crow, and this time behind his mask faint green outlines of clockwork appear to slowly be rotating, with the red light of his right eye inside of one- "Ah Beta. It's good to see you. Tomorrow I will see if you've solved this. For Aura is holding a retrial tomorrow. And you and one other are acting as the defense. If you've learned the truth... it will be easy." -Runs one of his gloved hands across a scratch in his mask, leading from a chipped corner to the top of his helmet-

"And then you will get-" -He flashes the key stone around his neck again-

"-the reward I promised."

-Tagg, whom Zrone does not notice, would probably notice how his aura appears to be in a state of constant change and fluctuation-

Kuzco blinks at the charging Tyrantrum.

Kuzco: <...I am a nice guy and the world throws me off for no reason! Seriously! What did I do to deserve->

Kuzco is hit by the Head Smash and is sent flying back into Amber.

Amber: Eeek!

Kuzco: <...This @_@>

Amber: You did well~

Amber recalls Kuzco.

Amber: Go Draculaura!

Amber tosses out a Dark Ball, releasing the Noivern inside it!

Draculaura: -In an Überwald accent- <Hi there ghouls :3!>

Amber: Lala! Use Draco Meteor on the the big Dragon!

Draculaura: <Zhe big spectacular showdown! Alright zen!>

The Noivern swoops up in the air and shoots a large, indigo ball into the sky. The ball then shatters and falls down on the Tyrantrum.

-Crow is run into by Hookwolf in the process of uh...-ing-

Crow: "...Uu-Oh!"

-As he is struck, a Great Ball comes out of his bag and may strike Hookwolf-

Crow: "...A retrial? But Wraith's innocent. And the person I suspect did it probably wasn't in her right mind..."

-Using an SEP Field as they talk-

His Aura makes me want to throw up almost with how its constantly fluctuating.

Grayson: <Here we go!>

-Grayson dives down toward Hexcalibur-

Hashmal: <That... is what happens... when you cross... a royal...>

-exhausted from the Head Smash, Hashmal has no energy to dodge the meteors flying toward him, and faints as they hit-

Matthew: This is so unfair!

-as Grayson watches Hashmal fall, his body begins to take on a glow-

-then fades a moment later, as his wings and tail plumage become larger-

Fletchinder!Grayson: <Holy evolution!>

Fortis: Oh my gosh!

-Matthew sends out a Rhyperior-

Matthew: Come on, Tricky! Let's finish it!

Tricky the Rhyperior♂: -cracks knuckles- <No problem.>

-Ever is now outside of the Gym, sitting in front of Gattaca-

Ever: Okay, what was that?

Gattaca: <Nails. Obviously.>

Zrone: -Laughs condescendingly- "Oh is that so? Well then you'll be proving it tomorrow. A retrial for Blackquill will end with truth somehow or another. The prosecution should be no worry. He's still taking online classes for law, so you'll be fine."

-Chuckles- "I'll be there watching. Should you discover the truth, you will be rewarded swiftly and in full for your efforts."

-His Aura continues to fluctuate haphazardly-

"... As well I am aware you've been in contact with Titan? Should you bring me this "Wraith" after the retrial, I can give you information on Illusion, I am sure Neo-Galactic would make good use of sensitive information like that."
