ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

Long post is loooooong.

-The Night Before...-

- Glances up at the starry sky. Is outside, and is feeling rather tired after the day's events, but still has one more important thing to do before I can sleep.-

-Pulls Pokéballs off of belt-

Everyone! GO!

-Pokéballs hit the floor and open, releasing Lake, Crowley, Woolly the Ampharos, Sol the Espeon, Flare the Blaziken and Pepper repsectively.-

Hello guys.

"Gatr! "Krow!" "Ampharos!" "Espeon." "Blaziken!" "Ganium!"

Nice to see you too. Now, the reason I've sent you all out so late at night is that I have...Something rather important to tell you guys.

-Explains everything that has happened so far, up to the point where we met Palkia on Fullmoon Island-

...So we managed to get Palkia to appear again by saying she was fat or something (I don't really know either). But what she told us was incredible. She said that there was a Parallel dimension where this world is inhabited only by Pokémon!

-The team are shocked by this.-

I know right? That's how me and Lake felt at the time too.

-Lake nods in agreement.-

Anyway, Palkia said that she could open a Portal to this world. But...She said that if a human we're to go through they would change into a Pokémon and lose their memory.

-Collective gasp from the team.-

I know, shocking isn't it? But Palkia did say that we could send Pokémon through without any problems. So, with that in mind, I had a talk with Lake and...He volunteered to go.

-Another collective gasp from the team, followed by collective panicked chattering-

-Glances at Lake-

Maybe you should talk about it with them.

-Lake nods, then turns to the others.-

Lake: <Guys! Calm down for just a few seconds!>

Pepper: <Calm down?! How do you expect us to keep calm after we've just be told you're being sent to another world where there could be just who knows what could be lurking there?!>

Woolly: <Actually, I think it's kinda' exciting! A whole world of only Pokémon! Imagine the kinds of wonderful stuff that could be there!>

Sol: <I agree with Woolly, there could be all kinds of brilliant things there just waiting to be discovered. This is a golden opportunity for both human and Pokémon kind!>

Lake: <Guys...>

Flare: -Snorts in disgust- <Don't be ridiculous Sol! The humans are just getting Lake to risk his life needlessly for, what, a few pages in a stupid book? If they really want to find out so badly, they should do it themselves rather then having their Pokémon take an uneccesary risk!>

Lake: <Guys!>

Crowley: <Oh cool down for once Flare! You're always going on about humans put us in danger, but Luke has never once done anything of the sort to us!>

Lake: <GUYS!!!>

-Everyone stops, staring at Lake.-

Lake: <Thank you. Now, I think a few of you are forgetting something very important here.>

Flare: <And just what would that happen to be?>

Lake: <Well Flare, as a trainer's Pokémon, isn't it our duty to help out our trainer?>

Flare: <...Yes...>

Lake <And in return for that help, doesn't out trainer help us to become the best Pokémon we can be in return? I mean, where would we all be if Luke hadn't come along? I'd probrobly still be stuck in Professor Elm's Lab back in New Bark Town.>

Crowley: <He's right! If Luke hadn't caught any of us, we'd probably never have reach our final evolved forms by ourselves! Especially me, it takes a special kind of stone to trigger a Murkrow's evoloution that can't normally be found in Johto. Without Luke, I'd never have become a Honchkrow.>

Woolly: <Yeah! Before Luke came along, I was just a Mareep who could only use Thundershock. Now, I'm a really powerful Ampharos!>

Sol: <I do believe that Lake has hit the nail on the head excatly.>

Pepper: <How could we forget something so simple? It is what we do, after all!>

Flare: <...>

Lake: <Do you understand now Flare?>

Flare: <...Yes.>

Lake: -Grins- <Heh, I knew you'd come around eventually. All you needed was a bit of convincing.>

Pepper: -Raises a Vine- <I'm still bit worried though Lake. What if something happens to you in this world? There'd be no way any of us could help you if you got into trouble!>

Lake: <Come on Pepper, I'm perfectly capable of looking after myself. Besides, I'm not going alone. The other trainers are going to send one of their Pokémon through as well. Plus I think that Gamer person is going through too.>

-The other Pokémon give Lake a blank look.-

Lake: <I dunno either. I reckon he must a have a few screws loose or something.>

Sol: <Then it's settled. Tomorrow, Lake shall embark for the world of Pokémon. Everyone in agreement?>

Crowley: <Agreed.>

Woolly: <Agreed!>

Pepper: <Agreed.>

Flare: <...Agreed.>

Sol: <It's is unanimous. Lake, on behalf of the team, I wish you the best of luck on your mission.>

Everyone (Except Flare): -Cheers-

Lake: -Smiling- <Thank you guys. I'll go and tell Luke about this then.>

-Lake walks over to me, having been standing nearby watching.-

So...I guess you managed to convince them then?

Lake: -Nods- Feraligatr!

-Smiles-

Good going Lake.

-Watches the others as they talk among themselves.-

You know, it's times like this that I really wish I could understand what you Pokémon are saying...

Ehehehehehe...

- Sitting on the docks with my team, HotStuff (a female Infernape), Briar Rose (a female Roserade), Wings (a male Crobat), Sparq (a male Pachirisu), Velvet (a female Espeon) and Silvermist (a female Lumineon) -

(Note: These six Pokemon are based on the team I used in Pokemon Platinum, and which I used to defeat the Elite Four the first time. In Platinum, my Pachirisu's nickname is actually "Wally", but since there is already another Pokemon with that name here, I changed it to "Sparq", the name I used for my Pachirisu in Pokemon Pearl)

- I take out my Pokedex, Velvet sits down next to me, only to be picked up and tossed aside by HotStuff who then sits down next to me. Velvet just sits down next to me on the other side and sticks out her tongue at Hot Stuff -

I've filled up many pages in my Pokedex these last few months. My goal has been to fill up as many pages as possible before I travel to the Unova region... I'll be travelling there soon.

- I take a look at all six of the Pokemon with me -

I'm really sorry I can't take you guys with me when I go. I'll be starting all over again, with new Pokemon to catch and train.

- The team look somewhat sad, Velvet and HotStuff exchange worried glances -

Don't worry, I promise that I will stay in contact with you all. For now, let's just enjoy our time together.

- Hugs Velvet, who sticks out her tongue at HotStuff again. HotStuff just gives her a Death Glare while the rest of the team (except Briar Rose who has dozed off) just sigh and roll their eyes -

Oh, come off it. You're the only pokemon I have on my right now that has good negotiating skills and good fighting skills just in case you need them. Be grateful I trust you so thoroughly.

-Comes down form his hotel having already showered and dressed. For once, I haven't got any of my Pokémon out.-

I guess so. I've got to check in with my employer first, though. I haven't checked in in a while now and I better let him know what I'm doing. But then again, this is Tangent I'm talking about, he's a cool guy. Amirite? -nudges tagg and Anom-

Yeah. Heh. So, we have 2/3 of our pokemon going, so... which other pokemon are willing to go to this Pokemon Only World?

I think Drapion is interested...

Nudi seems pretty interested as well.

- Watches Silvermist swim around. Briar Rose lazily leans on Velvet, Velvet just smiles at Briar Rose before looking over at HotStuff, who watches Silvermist swim around for a moment, before shuddering at the thought of being in water. Sparq just happily jumps up and down while Wings just hovers in mid-air with a bored look on his face -

Sure is a nice day, huh? I needed a break from all the training I've been doing for my unevolved Pokemon so I could add more pages to my Pokedex. And to think, that there will be even more Pokemon to catch in Unova. I've been reading about some of the Pokemon I can expect to meet when I go to Unova, and I'm really looking forward to seeing them myself!

- HotStuff and Velvet give me annoyed looks -

Oh, I'm sorry. You guys don't want to hear about that, do you?

- Reaches into the water and picks up Silvermist -

Come on, let's all go for a walk!

Well, I'm wary of sending too many of our pokemon there, since it might result in making it more difficult to get them back. Or at least, that's what I go from what Palkia said...

I didn't eat at all yesterday, so sorry if I'm kinda gluttonous today.

Well, I guess that could be okay... and besides, that would help keep all of us here while still sending out a representative of our world.

-Nods- Yeah that's me. I'm a Pokémon trainer from Johto.

-Finishes apple, tosses away core into nearby bin.-

There weren't any strong trainers left for me to fight there, so I came here to Sinnoh. Then, I met these guys and...Well, It's been pretty wild since then.

Yeah, sorry if we've been freaking you out any, Luke. Things just started getting really funky after we all met at that airport in Kanto.

- Taking a walk around Canalave with my Pokemon, the still wet Silvermist riding on Velvet's back since she's not able to keep up with the other's walking speed on land -

So, is there anything you guys want to do? We could stop by the library, or maybe find some trainers to challenge...

Sparq: (Sniffing the air) Pachi? (Sniffs the air some more) Pachi! Pachi! (Runs off)

Oh no! Where is he going?

- We run after him -

He's probably picked up the scent of sugar. If we don't hurry up and stop him, we'll soon have to deal with a hyperactive electric squirrel running around Canalave city at top speed!
