But if there shall be a platoon struck down, it shall be my enemies. Efficiency over all, my boy." She jumps up, grabbing her sword. "Force of Will is the strongest force in the universe. And my will is stronger than yours."

Mendel, being faster than Revan, dodges the Shadow Balls with ease. ~Care to leave that little shell of yours and have us a real fight? Oh that's right, you have nothing but skin and bone! Can someone say one trick Ponyta?~

Human!Ammy: For one, he already had settled down and had a family. I couldn't possibly intrude on that.

-rests her head on his shoulder-

Two, he may have been you, but he wasn't the same you. Not the one who came to my cave to tell me about humans. Not the one who gave me the will to beat Maleficent. Not the one who helped me find my parents.

Umbra: Thank you...

- He kisses her, and she kisses back. She then lays her head on his chest and fingers his eclipse necklace as he smiles-

He bends down to pick it up... and is blipped away.

-A Bibarel pops his head out of Herbert's suitcase.-

Elan: <At least you'll have me for company!>

Elan: <Stowing away, of course! Everyone knows that stowaways get the best adventures! So, what are you doing?>

Herbert: ...Well, I was trying to sleep.

-Lucanus' sword is knocked from his hand by Aiura's parry, leaving him with only the Aura staff left. He takes a few slow steps back, and turns to face her.-

Lucanus: I cannot disagree with you there. After all, what force kept the heroes of lore going? What force led them to bypass every obstacle and overcome every adversity? Force of will, of course. But it is nothing if not tempered by humility, remember.

-Revan is struck by another of Mendel's Shadow Balls, and grunts.-

Revan: ~If you're trying to goad me into doing something stupid, then I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed. I generally leave the charging and attacking blindly shtick to Lucanus.~

-He closes his eyes and starts to Focus Energy.-

That in the midst of her struggles, she was helping others...

Aiura slows down, now that Trick Room is over. "This is going to be interesting. Level ground again."

-Ren after cleaning up dinner calls up his Family's house on the video phone. A "No video availble" appears as Ren's mother picks up-

Clara: Hello?

Ren: Good evening mother.

Clara: Ren!

-The video feed connects as Clara appears, smiling at her son.-

Clara: Ren, Doug told me about that girl you were with! Who is she? What's her name? When can we meet-

Ren: -interrupting- Mother!

Clara: Sorry Ren.

Ren: Mother, I will introduce to to the girl and tell you all about her when I return to Johoto when contest season starts again. But I will tell you that I love this woman, and I hope to be with her for the rest of my life.

Clara: -squeeing with delight- I'll hold you to that Ren! -composing herself- Now what did you call about?

Ren: May I use the yacht? I'm visiting Holon with my girlfriend and some associates during my training journey. (That first bit almost 100% guarantees a "Yes")

Clara: -eyes lighting up at the word "girlfriend"- Yes you can Ren. When and how do you need it?

Ren: Tomorrow if possible, but I can last till the day after. And I'll only need it to get us there, as I don't know how long we will stay.

Clara: Tomorrow is definitely possible. Your father and I lent to the captain for his vacation, which finished yesterday. You're in Castelia right?

Ren: I am.

Clara: I'll alert the captain right away. He shouldn't have any problems getting to Castelia from his location.

Ren: Thank you mother. Tell father I called, and I love you both. Say hello to the staff for me as well.

Clara: Of course Ren.

Ren: Then good night mother. I'll see you and father soon, and I'll introduce you to my girlfriend when I do.

Clara: Good night Ren, I can wait.

Ren: Good bye mother.

Clara: Good bye Ren.

-Ren hangs up-

Ren: Dune, Sabu, I've got us a ride to Holon. We can leave as soon as tomorrow.

Boat to Holon

Pi stands at the prow, looking out as the sea rages in a storm.

"You feel that, friend?"

<Jack: "No bro. What?">

"I feel it in my bones."

<Jack: "Whatever bro, I'm gonna go get some sleep.">

Jack wanders off towards the aft.

Pi continues to stand at the prow, contemplative.

Then, he gives a Slasher Smile.

"   WELCOME TO THE NEW AGE.   "

He then twitches violently.

"No. Begone."

Madness manifests next to him. He's grown more defined.

Now, instead of a mere feline shaped blur, he's taken the form of a shiny Liepard.

Madness: "Alright, old friend, if you say so. But we aren't really friends, are we? Friends don't kick each other out of their house and home on a whim."

He disappears again.

"Maintaining control over myself is no mere whim, you monster."

-He gives his Aura staff a brief twirl, and smiles slightly.-

Lucanus: Well, ladies first.

-Revan is barely able to endure the Psyshock, and falls onto his knees, his Light Screen dissipating.-

Revan: ~...You can try. But all I need... is one... good... hit.~

-He launches one last Shadow Ball after the Trick Room fades, hoping to crit thanks to his focused energy.-

Castelia Harbor

-Straw is on a ship bound for Holon, with Crewe and whoever else presumably also on board-

I swear, if this ship wrecks like that other one...

Magellan:<Oh come on, it couldn't have been that bad. >

-deadpan-

Everyone thought I died.

Magellan:-blinks- <...Well then. >

Crescent:<Don't forget the freaky tribal mons.>

Oh yes. I hated that.

Aurora:<Pretty much the only good we got out of that was an armband.>

Yeah. Probably won't go back to the Whirl Islands again. That place seems to be bad luck for me.

Dune: A yacht, huh? Did you know yachts were originally a classification of ship specifically made to hunt down pirates?

-Rill shakes his head and whispers something to Ren.-

Rill: Dune gets terribly seasick. First learned when we originally left Gateon Port all those years ago.

-Dune still hears due to Gamma's earpiece.-

Dune: *indignantly* I did not get seasick! I just... had some bad seafood the night before.

-Rill shakes his head again.-

Illusio - Around 600 years ago

-Lucanus' smile grows slightly.-

Lucanus: Charming. Very well, I will take the initiative. Just remember that there are some things no Warrior, however skilled, can dodge.

-He charges up a sphere of glowing grey Aura. Revan, already on his knees, is in no position to make another attack.-

Revan: ~Well, that was my hit. Now it's time for you to make yours... of course, it wouldn't be very sporting of you to attack an opponent on his knees, would it?~

-He Recovers, and heaves himself to his feet.-

Revan: ~There we go. Now it's fair. Somewhat.~
