-feeling rather guilty for ditching his friends, Joseph flies back to the Lacunosa Center-

-Game!Jane gets up, but is not close enough to hit Game!Sarah. She starts to pick up pieces of the ground again.-

Sarah: Thank you, imperfect AI.

-Game!Jane makes the same mistake. Throw, get dodged, hit self.-

Sarah: Just once more...

Lacunosa — Now

Sarah: It's nice to meet you as well. -smile- Do you live around here, or are you from somewhere else?

Lacunosa Pokémon Center

Jacob: "I trust Zeal. Even if I'm afraid of him, even if he is an odd trollish goofball, he is perhaps the single greatest wildcard the J-team has encountered. Maybe. I'll ask Tagg about it. But regardless, he's the biggest wildcard there is right now. Even though that could end up being your own undoing... it could also end up being the saving grace you need. His heart is in the right place, even if his mind isn't. And about Sam, Sam should be safe. Sam knows about Zach and Zeal. Not why. I was almost killed because I understand what's going on. And I'm at rather little risk. That was just one of many of Zeal, and he even told me that the others didn't want him to try killing me. I think it's safe to say most of Zeal has nothing wrong with me."

-Shakes head- "As well, you didn't even try and help with those situations. You haven't messed up, in fact, whenever you've gotten off your mopy butt and did something, have you noticed how the situation always gets better? And how you always call yourself a failure in situations which you couldn't have helped in? When you act instead of whine, you have, virtually without exception, improved the situation. Think about it."

-To Sakura- "Considering she just told me she's coming down with tea for anyone who wants some, I assume she's healed. You know Regina a bit by now. I think you understand how hard it is to really keep her down and out."

-To Duke- "Just because it's common sense doesn't mean it's any less... exceptional. Just because we're expected to do something doesn't mean we're going to."

-To Lyuri- "Oh, we had a small argument and decided to split up for a day or two. We made up already, but she's in Opelucid. I got a text from her earlier telling me that she's decided to become a trainer. She caught a few Pokémon and just beat the gym. We'll meet up with her when we get there."

Herbert: If you say so, Jacob. But I'll be keeping an eye on Zeal. I don't like to rely on double-edged swords.

-He sighs, and gives a sad look at Sakura and Jacob.-

Herbert: I should've been aware, though. Maul is my Pokemon and therefore my responsibility, and if I hadn't gone off moping last night I could've followed you and Zeal. Stopped him before he got as close as he did. I need to be more aware, but even when I've been around, my help hasn't done anything. I spent most of our battles with Deimos sitting on my ass doing nothing. At least Lyuri and Duke were able to do something... unlike me.

-He sits quietly for a moment, waving idly at Joseph.-

Herbert: Zeal tried to kill him. Don't ask why, Jacob won't tell us. In any case, I'm thinking of heading to Opelucid now, getting way from all of this...

Human!Ilya: Well, I used to live in a cave with my daddy, but then he let me go on an adventure!

"Nobody expected Zeal to try to kill Jacob, why do you keep blaming yourself for things you have nothing to do with?" said Sakura, getting tired of that.

"Really, you talk like you should be aware of everything everyone is planning, for Darkrai's sake, can you just accept that sometimes you can't do anything because you weren't there to do anything in the first place and that it's hardly something to blame yourself for? If anyone had called you to help and you ignored, it would be another thing, but here you only learned about what happened after what happened, seriously, stop trying to protect everyone, otherwise you're just going to end protecting nobody." said Lyuri, also getting very tired of Herbert's whining.

"I think everybody here will need some tea to calm down." said Duke, with a sigh.

Lacunosa Pokémon Center

Jacob: "You couldn't have known. Even if his Aura was weird, he insisted on being alone to talk, and I think you would have thought I could handle myself. You can't blame yourself for not knowing everything. And notice how that is one event out of all the one's you've been in? You've really spear-headed this Edge thing. And according to what I've learned, you've done much more than that. Even if you try to find something wrong you did, you still did things right. Even if you refuse to see it, other people see just how helpful you are. Really. Why would we try this hard to convince you all the time if you were right about yourself?"

-To Joseph- "I was attacked. Ignore Herbert. Really, there's nothing to be worried about. I'm fine, so yeah."

Regina: -Walks downstairs now, with enough tea for everyone, holding them all with telekinesis- <Alright, I'm done.> -She smiles-

<Who would like something to drink?>

Capital! It would be nice to leave this boring town behind.

Also, tea for me, Regina.

Lacunosa Pokemon Center

Herbert: I don't like tea.

-He stands up.-

Herbert: Until this kind of shit stops happening - until I can prove that I can actually keep people safe - then I'll stop blaming myself. I'm going to head to Opelucid now. You're welcome to come with me, if you want.

-He walks outside, possibly bumping into Sarah and Ilya along the way.-

I'll join you once I finish the tea.

Lacunosa Pokémon Center

All three raise their hands at Regina's question

"I think I've never met someone so stubborn as him before." said Sakura, with a sigh.

"It gets annoying fast." said Lyuri

"It does make it difficult to talk to him at times, I wonder if he'll ever grow out of that." said Duke.

Lacunosa — Past

-Game!Jane makes that same mistake a third and final time.-

-It doesn't KO her, but it leaves her open for the final hit.-

Sarah: Please don't suddenly jump up and kill me...

-Slash-

-Game!Jane is KO'd.-

-Sarah wins.-

Sarah: Now... let's see if any of the rumors are true...

-The end credits play a triumphant remix of Eskay's Theme from the show. After it fades to black, a message appears-

Sarah: ...So it's all of them. Interesting.

Lacunosa — Now

Sarah: ...A cave, huh...

-She thinks-

Sarah: Hmm... What is your opinion on Kyurem?

-Suddenly, Herbert-

Sarah: Oh, hey, Herbert...

Jacob: -Sighs and sips- "Wait until after Edge is dead. Then he might improve. That is if we can kill the damn thing. Seriously. Regina showed me her own and the rest of my team's memeories on that fight yesterday. It's like no matter what you throw at him, he has some way to counter it." -Shakes head-

"Oh well. Let's just cut the guy some slack and move for- he forgot Maul."

"Well, to be fair, I managed to get quite a hit on him, even if it was by surprise, he was unable to retaliate succesfully and we even got to damage him once again." said Sakura, taking a sip of her tea.

Upon hearing that Herbert forgot Maul, all three of them facepalm

"I suppose he's too busy moping that he forgot about the important thing here." said Lyuri, rolling her eyes.

Lacunosa Center

-Crow, Gogie, and Ghostus have been sitting in the corner, listening to the conversation, but not really participating up until now-

Crow: -calling to Jacob- "Jacob, could I talk to you for a bit?"

Lacunosa Pokémon Center

Jacob: "To be fair, yes you did. But also to be fair you attacked after he'd exauhsted a lot of his strength. If you had tried going up against him alone I think you would have been resoundly crushed. Which isn't to say that you're weak, it's just I don't think anyone is strong enough to beat Edge head on. I-"

-Turns when he hears Crow- "Sure. You won't mind if we don't leave the Center, right?" -Chuckles as he points at his face-

"I don't really feel like having any more 'private discussions' any time soon."

It was just referencing the fact that all of those boss-rush characters are retired characters :P

Lacunosa — Past

-Sarah looks at the new character set: Vrang, Onion, Prolio, Ori, Parisse, 49, Rex, Crewe, Matt, Luke, Fool, Anom, and Jane.-

Sarah: Hmm...

-She decides to start a match as Jane, versus a CPU-controlled Every.-

Lacunosa — Now

Sarah: We're still friends... I hope. Anyway...

-She leans in to whisper to Ilya-

Sarah: This'll sound completely insane if I'm wrong, but... are you possibly the Kyurem that appeared at the concert the other day?

Lacunosa Town

Herbert: I'd like to think we are, but... I don't want to make things awkward for you. More than I already have, at any rate.

-He turns around, and blinks at Joseph.-

Herbert: Maul's in no state to move. I don't even know if he'll ever be able to walk again. He needs some time to rest. Bishop's still up there looking after him. They can stay there for the time being. I should only need Ripley and Kirk to beat the Opelucid Gym, anyway.

Crow: "Fair enough, but I still want to keep what's said kind of private."

"Could Regina create a telepathic link or something?"

- Sitting around somewhere, watching Kohai spar with Mira -

Kohai: <What's the matter, Mira? You don't seem to be fully focusing on sparring match with Kohai.>

Mira: <I am just thinking... Since DS plans on taking some of us to visit our old homes, we will probably be stopping by Dragonspiral Tower at some point.> (sighs) <I just do not know what the Pokémon there will think of Artemis...>

Kohai: (shrugs) <Kohai doesn't see what the problem is.>
