"When you say it like that, it's funny how humans are the ones that are in charge here, considering most Pokémon, but I suppose... We are the ones that need the most help to keep ourselves safe, maybe humans are in charge because, for the most part, they're good 'leaders'" said Duke as he helped Herbert out, then glacing at Kirk "Fighting a Pokémon myself would be quite strange I think, but me holding my own against you? I dunno, could happen."

Kirk: <Perhaps. I've got no grudge against being led by Herbert, he's a good kid. But he's weak, like all humans, and he makes mistakes just like the rest of them. Would the world be a better place if it was ruled by Pokemon? I think... oh, why am I talking about this with you? You're a human, the nuances of this conversation are lost on you. And I'm only discussing hypotheticals when it comes to fighting you. I've got a plan to fight everything, after all.>

Phoenix: My trainer is training here. And the reason why I defend humans is simple: I like humans.

Kirk: <I don't dislike them. But when we're the ones with all the moves, all the abilities, all the power. Humans rely on us for everything, and yet we remain subservient. If it wasn't for Pokeballs, I have a sneaking suspicion that the roles would be reversed.>

Kirk: <Alakazam have an effective IQ of 5000. Metagross are literal supercomputers. We Lucario might be fighters at heart, but together Pokemon can do anything. Sure, humans have come up with a few nifty inventions, but it's not as though I'm suggesting we get rid of them or anything. I don't have any plans to lead some sort of revolution. All I'm saying is that the balance is a fragile one.>

-He then gestures at the unconscious Herbert.-

Kirk: <Anyway, shouldn't we be getting Snow White here back to the Pokemon Center? He seems to spend more time recovering there than I do.>

"It doesn't seem that fragile for me, human and Pokémon have cooperated without many issues for a long time now, I don't think that's going to change so easily, besides, some Pokémon like this other Lucario here are fond of humanity, this balance isn't really that unstable." said Duke, now carrying Herbert "And yes, let's bring him to the Pokémon Center, if he's like this now, I can only wonder how it'll be when we reach Force Palm or Bone Rush."

Duke smiles at the scene with Bishop when he sees Grant and Seth approaching them as they walked through the route

"<Where is your kid by the way?>" asked Seth, not having noticed the group yet.

"<He's with Sakura along with his new friend, the good thing is that he at least has somebody else to play with now.>" explained Grant, chuckling a bit "<Talking about kids, ever thought about your own?>"

"<Do you really think I'd be a good parent?>" asked Seth, rolling his eyes.

"<Did you think that of me?>" asked Grant, with a smirk

"<... Point.>" said Seth, with a sigh and then finally noticing everyone else "<Hey, what happened with him?>" he asked, noticing the uncousncious Herbert.

"He fainted while training." said Duke, with a small smile

"<... And here I thought Sakura's training could get a bit harsh at times.>" said Grant.
