I pity Seath but he's not necessarily sympathetic, no.
I imagine the dragons may have mistreated him and treated him as a pariah, which may have motivated his rebellion, but it's a good a guess as any.
Hm. Point taken.
Then again, he might just have been a spiteful little bugger. We shall never know.
grahI think when you cross the first pit, there's a ledge you can climb that can skip to the good bits. That's what I did. You can even find three of those titanite bugs that way.
And then there was silenceWell, guess it's time to put Ravelord to his eternal slumber.
Tomb of the Giants isn't that bad as long as you have some light available. Skelebeasts either go down with a single Chaos Great Fireball or just get poisebroken by dat trusty Firehander. Leeroy went down like a chump, about 50 Skeleton Babies dropped like a single Humanity though they give crazy amount of souls.
As long as you don't fall down the hole like an idiot it can be braved. I mean, I realize I'm missing out on a lot of treasures down there, but I'm not ready to fight 6 Giant Skellies at once.
grahIf I'm thinking of the right spot with many skeleton giants, that is where the Large Divine Ember is, so if that's something you care about, you might want to brave it. That said, I have unashamedly cheesed those fuckers every time I've been there. Arrows, bombs, spells, whatever, I stand on the ledge until at least most of them are dead and then go down and deal with the one or two that I can never quite get with whatever ranged attacks I have.
Ravelord's down. He takes a while to go, but he opened our little meeting with a sword from the ground right from the get go. Otherwise had to heal myself a couple of times from toxins, but otherwise it wasn't that bad. He's not even hitting too hard if you have a heavy enough armor.
Seath's also down. Trip, you are my savior. Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring makes him pretty harmless.
Demon Firesage and Demon Centipede both bite the dust. The latter proved to be absolutely infuriating to fight. Might as well be called Lag Demon.
Kirk got his ass served twice, the second time on top of some pyromancy-toting lady.
Solaire's saved. He's BSOD'ing pretty hard though.
RIP Onionbro. He just up and died all of a sudden after we cleared Chaos Eaters.
Speaking of Chaos Eaters, fuck your steam.
...next on the course, Bed of Bullshit. Then I'll consider trying to smash Manus' head in for a good measure. Does anyone know where can I reliably farm Red Titanite?
grahI imagine Seath is Carrie, but on a cosmic scale. In Dark Souls anyway. In Dark Souls II, he's, uhh, something more than that.
Besides, in Seath's view, why worry about experimenting on humans? Compare Undead Burg to Anor Londo; humans aren't really held in high esteem by their gods. and I imagine dragons care even less. Further, in the DLC there's Ciaran's "I forgive you" for being human and Elizabeth's remark on your scent being "very human, but not intolerable." Humans are like monkeys to these people. It doesn't help that the most significant human in the entire series looks like a demonic ape when you fight him.
^Best place is the last location in the game. Other than that, those giant centipede things in the Demon Ruins occasionally drop them.

I wrote about a fish turning into the moon.onionbro is doomed no matter what unless he has 50% life afteer the chaos eaters
if you did the dukes archive first, you encounter his daughter who's looking for him
onionbro dies no matter what anyway s o
And then there was silenceIt's possible to play through the game and "save" almost everyone. Exceedingly difficult and annoying, but possible. Except Onionbro. There is no saving him. I found that rather frustrating.

Can't you save him by just killing all the chaos eaters before you talk to him?
I happened to spoiler myself that this just causes him to go Hollow and forces Sieglinde to kill him.
I was just surprised that he up and died for no visible reason. I bombarded three Chaos Eaters from above with pyromancies and the fourth one didn't rough him up that badly.
...then again, we were standing in the middle of a poisonous pond.
grahYeah, as far as I know, there is no way to save Siegmeyer. I think the 'best' possible conclusion to his questline is where Sieglinde kills him and you get a Titanite Slab (I think) as a reward. I could be remembering the reward wrong. I think there are different possible rewards and endings to that questline.

Just popping by to say Gwyn's song is excellent, but so is its darker version, Aldia's.
I wrote about a fish turning into the moon.I liked Seathe the most out of the 4 lords and he felt the most fleshed out.
Huzzah. The Bed of Chaos is no more! Now all that's left is Stray Demon, Priscilla, Manus, Kalameet and the main attraction, served extra crispy. Oh right, might as well screw around with Gwyndolin, now that I have his fancy ring.
The Fluffy Scythe Lady likely will get a free pass though. Once Manus makes mincemeat outta me I don't think I'll have the strength for it.
Also, is the zombie ass dragon from Ariamis supposed to be invincible. It doesn't react to anything. No aggroing it, no healthbar, no nothing.
grahI've killed it before, so I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be invincible.
If you mean the legs of the zombie dragon after you've killed it, then yeah, you can't do anything to them.

"Steel wins battles. Gold wins wars."Huh. Thought you can smash them away to get to Priscilla faster without bothering with the Skelewheels in narrow corridors. Oh well, no harm done.
grahI thought the same thing, and spent ages trying to jump across or get past the legs, but to no avail.
Incidentally, Painted World is one of the best levels in the game. The atmosphere is completely unlike anywhere else and the enemies are horrifying. It's also got really good level design with lots of shortcuts and hidden areas.
"Steel wins battles. Gold wins wars."It's definitely nice to look at.
Crow Demons are infuriating to deal with, but otherwise it's a pleasant place to be in and farm. If only I didn't have to trek all the way from the painting to Anor Londo bonfire to go anywhere else.
grahYou can attack the zombie dragon butt to get it to move. You have to do a jump attack on it, at which point it will stand up and you can go under the legs.

There is a bug of sorts where you can get the dragon's legs in the Painted World to stand up, allowing you pass underneath and drop down to the walkway below, bypassing the locked door. I don't know how to trigger it though, but it something to do with hitting it just right, I think.
Edit - ninja'd
Editedit - I think if you beat Priscilla you can warp the bonfire there like any other. I could be wrong on that. It is a good place to farm though, especially at mid-high levels.

the fact that priscilla is optional even if you encounter her makes the level great for PVP as well
just unsummon any phantoms before the fog gate
And then there was silenceHe basically is. You know the most about him because he's the lord the most npc's talk about. in contrast nobody has anything to say about nito (which i think is unfortunate because i love his design).
As someone who really wants to Dark Souls, I've got a question.
Besides the scenery, enemies, and names, what are the major distinctions between Demons and Dark? Are there any major mechanical overhauls, or is it more of a narrative difference?
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018
Sure I do.
Hm. Perhaps I just need to find an opportune time to play. I swear to God, Seath will be sushi once I reach him. Serves you right for walking me for something so simple, yet so difficult.
And speaking of him, is it just me or is he one of the very few characters in DS 1 that invokes hardly any sympathy? Like, you get all these emotional boss fights and NPC's you come to like, you could argue that other Lord Soul bosses are all pitiable - or in Nito's case, cool and ravelordin' - and then there's this stunted cripple dragon that:
Like, even his theme seems to get on it. It certainly has a certain imposing feel to it, but there's also this male voice thingy that seems to be just mocking his insanity.
