I really need help.
I am at the Valley of Drakes entrance to Blighttown, and I...simply cannot work up the nerve to advance.
I am at Soul level 46, Using a heavy attack build, and I know the mosquitos and blowdart goons will rip me apart. The ledges and the atmosphere and those horrible swamp monsters...I just need someone to co-op with me to do this level, but I've tried all the sites, and nobody is willing to help me.
Always saying stuff like "oh its not so hard" or "you can do it. The enemies are easy after those barbarians".
I. Can't. I'm on the PS 3. Please...don't leave me here. Like this. My previous experiences there have basically chewed up my will to continue and devoured it.

Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.Do you have the Rusted Iron Ring from the return to the Undead Asylum? It helps a lot. Also, you'll need purple moss clumps from Darkroot Garden or the Female Undead Merchant.
You're also a bit overlevelled for Blighttown, so you might have difficulty finding anyone to summon.
"Steel wins battles. Gold wins wars."I'm on PC, I can't help.
If you have a problem with the atmosphere, try turning the game's gamma/brightness up to eleven. I don't know if that will work, but it's worth a try.
They call it the Rumour Mill because every time one specific guy posts I definitely feel cards going from my library to my graveyardI'd help, but I'm on PC and also my gamepad is broken. All I can really offer you are tips.
I can help, I play on PS 3.
Okay Nick The Swing, I have a SL 45 character waiting for co-op. Where do you want me to drop my summon suing?
Advice for artorias: When he does that roar attack, you need to run over and smash his face in quickly That roar boosts his damage and stacks.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. If you're a quick shot with a bow (and I mean really quick), a headshot will interrupt him. If you're not Robin Hood, though, then you're better off two-handing your weapon and bum-rushing him.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do. I do okay until he powers up and then just wrecks me really quickly.
Also, today I died before retrieving my souls and humanity for the first time on this playthrough. >.< Only 3k souls and 14 humanity, but dammit, I was so careful up to now ;~;
So, um, it looks like I defeated Chaos Witch Quelaag, and forgot to defeat the Gaping Dragon.
Does the Gaping Dragon give me a special soul? Should I brave the horrible geckos and slimes to go get him?
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.The only thing the Gaping Dragon gives you is the Dragon's King Greataxe if you cut its tail off. It's cool if you want it, but it's not the best weapon out there.
They call it the Rumour Mill because every time one specific guy posts I definitely feel cards going from my library to my graveyardYou'll need it for an achievement, but that's it.
Hm, I might just go for it, though I'm a bit nervous about the creatures down there. The Basilisks aside, is there anything I should watch out for?
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.The Basilisks are pretty much completely avoidable, and aside from that it's torch hollows, a few butchers, rats, a giant rat miniboss that is easy to cheese, and one channeler that you really should take out before fighting the Dragon. The rats can poison you, but that's really all you gotta watch out for.
Don't forget about the slimes. Keep an eye on the ceiling, because they can and will drop down on top of you if you don't notice them.
Oh yeah, the slimes. They don't like fire, so torch 'em if you can. They also drop green shards, so that's useful.
The Gaping Dragon isn't too hard either, if you violently rip off its tail, and wail on it's left side.
Just be sure not to get Teabagged to death.
also i'm scared of going to lost izalith
it's not really hard or anything but
solaire
And then there was silenceOh, I'm Level like 53 by now, and by then I'll probably be wielding the Black Knight's Greatsword, so I guess the place won't be too bad. I just hope to get the Ring of the Evil Eye, and I hope that won't take me by the area with the Basilisks.
I should be able to use Iron Flesh and just tank the Gaping Dragon.

Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.you are
immensly overlevelled
that was my level going into anor londo
And then there was silenceGiven that the actual level cap is in the 700's, I would say he's fine.
Well, given that upgrading most stats beyond 40 is pretty much worthless...
I usually finish Blighttown before level 40 and always feel overleveled. And that's after doing the Depths. So yeah, I'd say he's pretty overleveled.
Less than 10 days for Dark Souls II in PC. Worst part: I'll be away from my desktop computer until a couple days after that. Screw you vacations.

They call it the Rumour Mill because every time one specific guy posts I definitely feel cards going from my library to my graveyardI also just got done kicking Havel's arse up and down his tower, after spending a bit of time panicking over how powerful I'd heard he was. Then I remembered he was supposed to be pickings at SL 25.
A few circling backstabs and blocks, and he never hit me.
Though, I do want his stuff beyond his Ring, looks like I might need to speed things up, beat the Depths and go to Anor Londo.
Havel's Ring is just as nice as I'd heard it was. Now I can roll well in upgraded Knight's Armor.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.Take that, Bed of Chaos! You were easy once I figured out your gimmick. That gimmick being that you're trivially easy to kill. Hurrah!
Nito and Four Kings, you're next on my list.
