Romhacking a Max'd out Rayquaza, Kyogre, Deoxys, Groudon, Lugia and Ho-Oh into the Champions Party on Emerald is far more fulfilling than the entire Emerald Game itself. Damn that was fun.

Also stupid hard.

Just started a Nuzlocke run of Pokemon Diamond, and am planning on novelizing it as I have no drawing ability whatsoever (See those comics people are complaining about on the Just Bugs Me Nuzlocke page? I'm probably worse).

Personal rules are the standard ones, but freebies (Are there any other than the Happiny egg?) and stationary legendaries are fair game.

Protagonist: Maeve Badges: 0. Deaths: 0. Pokemon Caught: 3. Team:

Markus, male Chimchar, lv. 6 (Received at lv. 5) Starter Quirky nature, likes to fight.

Dapper, male Starly, lv. 6 (Caught at lv. 3) First catch, Route 201. Quirky nature, proud of its power.

Bowie, male Starly, lv. 2 Second catch, Verity Lakefront. Serious, nature, likes to run.

. . . I'm horribly attached to them after less than an hour of play time. Is this normal?

Yes. It is very normal.

It's very wow-inducing, this challenge. I mean, if it brings out such a strong level of emotions so early, I can only imagine how bad it's going to get.

This would probably be a good time to buy stock in tissue companies.

I tried to Nuzlocke Diamond but I ended up dying when I got to Gardenia. I strive to do better when I Nuzlocke my White cartridge.

Out of curiosity, what seems to be the easiest Nuzlocke challenge? I would presume Ruby/Sapphire due to the low-leveled Elite Four...

Started Route 202, new 'mon acquired.

Ellie, female Bidoof lv. 3. Third catch, Route 202. Hasty nature, often dozes off.

...I'm just glad it wasn't another Starly.

I am Nuzlocking Crystal. For the record, yes I am insane.

However, I'm doing a L Pish blog sort of thing and have hardly started. Since I am lazy and need 100% accuracy to write the blog up, I have just left New Bark Town.

I might do an MSPA style thing for white

A BLIND Nuzlocke run.

Closest i'd come to is Ruby since I actually skipped that, or Diamond cause it'd been forever, but ^^;

I'm doing that with White.

Sigh I really need to acquire my own DS so I can actually do a reasonable Nuzlocke run of Platinum.

I had a fun idea to try playing Disgaea as if it was Pokemon on Nuzlocke: utilizing only the main character(s) and caught monster-types.

I started a Nuzlocke on my Heart Gold, then during the Team Rocket Base I decided I wanted to run it through once. (i.e. My team was dying and I couldn't take it.)

I still gained respect for Hermes the Furret when he killed Morty's Gengar using only Foresight and Headbutt.

I still have a couple remnants from Nuzlocke in my box. Hermes, Arrow the Pidgeotto, Bella the Bellsprout, Jamie the Raticate, and Buddy the Sudowoodo.

I'd already had a healthy respect for the Zubat line (Crobat is one of my all-time favorite Pokemon and I always use it as my flier instead of the resident early bird) as well as Geodude when I caught them in an experiment during Platinum.

I'm considering either restarting Heart Gold (having beaten the game, I have very little else to do, except try to hunt down Latias and make it through the Whirl Islands to find Lugia, because I don't play competitively, or restart Platinum and try it there. At least the Com Mons in Platinum can end up being useful (Staraptor is generally accepted as awesome, and I happen to like Bibarel).

I have long since transferred everything good from Emerald to Gen IV so to pass time till White I've decided to do my first and only Nuzlocke of Emerald. May attempt to puke out a comic later.
