Beavis and Butt-Head are coming back

MTV didn't say when they were, but they said they were.

Thoughts? (The music videos were my favorite part of the show, I wonder how they'll make fun of modern musicians)

They've been saying that for a year now. However, MTV seems to be more interested in remakes that no one asked for (such as Skins).

Yay! Though they better get cracking on that soon.

Daria started on Bn B. I sincerely hope she at least cameos in this.

Really? The only thing I didn't like about BnB were the music video segments. That's why I really preferred the movie to the actual series.

That being said, I would enjoy seeing their take on modern music.

As a fan of Beavis and Butthead I am conflicted.

Part of me thinks AWESOME!

Another part thinks "Those guys are such a Nineties thing. Are they even going to make sense any more these days?"

So they're making it in LA instead of its home city of New York? Without any further question? Yeah that's fair to the workers. :P

I thought they did Beavis and Butt-head in Austin. You know, Mike Judge's hometown.

I'm looking forward to it. My signature is a quote from the movie, actually, so, well, yeah.

Even if it borks, hey, maybe it'll get more people interested in the franchise as a whole, which means I get to make more references that will be understood by the masses.

And Buscemi is right, B&B is set in Texas. (The town is called Highland but that's not really important)

I think it would be funny if Daria appeared as a new teacher, having aged somehow and they didn't.

I don't think Judge has the rights to use Daria anymore. He believe he sold the rights after deciding to stay out of that series (I don't think he even got a "Based on a character created by" credit on the show).

Yeah, I was wondering if she was sold. That sounds kind of "wrong", doesn't it?

Mike Judge was apparently inspired after seeing a Lady Gaga video and decided the world really needs Beavis and Butt-Head back. Also they will not only do music videos, but also clips from UFC, Jersey Shore and Youtube videos.

It will be interesting to say the least.
