I know, and I am looking forward to it.

Accidentally recorded 4 episodes of Cartoon Network shows instead of just Thundercats. Decided to watch Pokémon Best Wishes before it.

MY GOD! The new Pokémon SUCKS! Seasonal Rot taken full effect, and the show is rotten to the CORE. Thundercats seemed like Seven Samurai in comparison!

(last week's episode) They took a 5 minute story, and stretched it to 22 minutes. Bleh.

Interesting take on M-R in the second episode. Hope he doesn't undergo Villain Decay in later episodes like I heard he did in the original show. How many episodes have their been btw?

On topic please. Have we got to the episode after Ratilla? I think I might have missed it. My sense of timinig has been off.

Ungh. It took a while but I finally finished watching season 3 of the original Thundercats. After a while it got pretty grating but I'm still alive.

You know how planet Thundera blew up in episode one just like Krypton? Well in season three the planet just gets better for no aparent reason. Oh, and the blind guy on the team in the best pilot on the entire planet because he has a keyboard written in braille. I'm not even exagerating, they constantly remind you about how awesome his keyboard is beacuse it's in braille. As the season wound down I learned that apparently Jaga usd to be Lord of the Thundercats and used to visit Third Earth because he showed up in a flashback on Third Earth as a young man. Then a smaurai gets on a robot horse and rides from Third Earth all the way to Thundera, which according to the first episode is several galaxies away and the trip between the two planets takes so long Jaga had enough time to die of old age an Lion-O grew from this into this. And they make this trip two or three times an episode now. Then all the mutants and Lunataks, the villians that have been battling the Thundercats for "many years," are defeated by a carnie, with a little help from Wilykat. And then they are all taken away on a space train never to be seen again.

Finally, in the season finale, Mumm-Ra grows to Godzilla size, is on the verge of blowing up the planet and effertlessly curb stomps all the Thundercats. Then the sun goes down and he gets banished to the Phantom Zone. After all this even the worst episode of the new series looks good by comparision.

[up]Actually, I think Mumm-Ra just magicked Thundera back. And yeah, there was like no sense of time and zero consistency in the old show, especially after season 2.

Is it just me or are the "flashback SF episodes" about ten times better than the other ones? (and not jus because of sexy, sexy Panthera)

Something inside of me was hoping Pumyra would wield the sword, or at least try to.

Also, she still needs some gear.

The only reason I see Pumyra not getting more gear is out of faithfulness to the character's depiction in the original series.

Well, this episode certainly looks whimsical. Definitely seems to be the closest to the original series in tone.

And rankinbass... that actually did make me smile.

So it's a safe bet that this will be one of those episodes that really isn't connected to the season's story arc, right?

Going off just the preview images, this episode looks Off-Model, but not in a bad way.

The racoon's hand (can't remember his name) hand was mis-colored in one shot.

[up] Yeah yeah I get it. I just didn't find him important enough to really remember his name. He kinda pisses me off actually
