Replace or remove? (Locked article): Seltzer And Friedberg

Not a fan or anything, but the page image for the article is just a Take That!. Is there something better? Is no image better?

Geez. Most creator pages have either a picture of the person or something to do with one of their more notable works. I suggest the bottom image from this◊

Here's◊ a better version of the top pic...either would work for me.

I've removed the old one for being unnecessary bashing; relying entirely on the speech bubbles and the caption; and being butt-ugly to boot.

Another one I thought about was a collage of their movie posters with "Notice a theme?" as the caption.

I second the collage idea. Pretty much encapsulates their contribution to the world.

The thing is, this page is about there movies, not them. Should we get a poster for one of the movies?

Supporting a collage of their movie posters. That's what they're known for. It's the most effective.

I'd prefer Date Movie rather than Vampires Suck in that picture, but not by much.

I thought about doing all five, but those four have the "all the crappy role parodies in one poster" thing going on, whereas Date Movie's pic (at least, the one on Wikipedia, which is where I got all of them from) is just a tissue box with a bunch of used ones around it.

Remove the Vampires Suck poster, it has its own page.

Hm.. feels kind of cramped. Edit: Second one has a frame and a border. And everyone rejoiced.

Personally I prefer that one. The smorgasbord of this-movie, that-movie makes it pretty clear what these guys are all about.

That works fine. My only quibble is that Date Movie was their first one instead of the last, but that's nitpicky.

That looks like a Take That! that you'd have to be familiar with the movies it's mocking to get.

Why don't we just use photos of the actual guys?

That's not off the table, but the poster collage idea was getting a lot of support before the page starting lagging.

If an article is about a person or persons, it should show them, not their work.

But they're creators, the works are more important than they are.

Then how come the page for Uwe Boll doesn't show the cover to House of the Dead?

Because Uwe Boll is known as much for his persona as his movies. These guys aren't really known for anything except being "The guys who make those Shallow Parody movies".
