Degenerate Circuit, but I'm not sure if there's any more like it.
That's... okay, but to be sure I got something out of it, I'd have to use Ordeal of a Traveler, and my opponent would just not declare attacks until they got rid of my back row (which already is on the defensive). Plus, that mandatory maintenance cost that I can't just let it self-destruct...
If only there were more level 6 or below Dinosaur monsters that knocked out or locked down my opponent's back row.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyReptiles were the most underdeveloped for a long time. Their only support, period, was Ultra Evolution Pill, which didn't help Reptiles themselves but turned them into Dinosaurs.
Yugioh has far too many redundant and/or pointless types. And a couple that are basically alternate words for an Attribute.
I'm puzzled Amphibian isn't a type. It's the only class of Chordates to lack one. Amphibian monsters typically go in Aqua.
Reptile could've gone in Aqua or Dragon too. Sea Serpent and Fish are unique enough, though. Same with Dinosaurs. Heck, Reptile could've worked decently as a Sea Serpent, as could anything Amphibious.
Wyrms feel kind of silly since they practically are Dragons in everything but name. Psychic was unique enough on its own, though. Same with Creator God(I wonder what we'll get for a Dubbed name since they tend to never put God in names, but Goddess is okay for some reason?) and Divine Beast.
Not every type feels honestly redundant, just some of the water-related ones here and there. Personally, if they're going to do all these similar types(like Wyrms), I want a Cyborg type. Basically anything for half-machines. Cyber Saurus is practically this(even if I doubt they'll ever errata its type), as well as many Tech Genus monsters would better fit that than some. Some are clearly machines, yet others are only half-machines. It'd be interesting, especially if they errata types like they do with effects.
Reptile deserves to be its own type rather than being folded into Aqua or Dragon. Dinosaurs could've been folded into Reptile, or Sea Serpent into Fish, Aqua and Reptile, or so on.
Any tips on monster cards that can shut down opponent's monster effects? Besides Veiler? I'm looking for something with a continuous field presence to go with Horus, Royal Decree and Future Visions. The deck already contains The End of Anubis and Lava Golem.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyI wish more old Normal Monsters would be released in the TCG.
This was a fun game.◊ Superheavy's can be so trolly.
The most neglected Type is Sea Serpent, and recently it was just shoved in with Fish and Aqua.

¿?¡!The art's pretty high-quality, too, so there's a good chance it'll be released, I think.
There are a number of archetypes/decks that I find annoying as hell:
- Yang Zings - those pseudo-Dragon wannabes never end. It's like a hydra: kill one (head) and more take its place.
- Trains - I'm pretty sure that being able to spam Level 10s with no tribute should not be allowed.
- Aromages - it's difficult to brute force a deck that almost never runs out of LP
- Qliphorts - fuck them, including Towers. Especially Towers
Honourable mention:
- Nekroz - those annoying Cosplayers are a bitch to deal with, especially Unicore, Djinn lock, Decisive Armor, Trishula and Denkou. However I've noticed that they start strong and fizzle out later, normally after Trishula. The few occasions I've survived the Trish-banish and gotten rid of it, I tend to beat them down.
- Cyber Dragons - Infinity is a bitch to deal with, normally because I'm almost never fortunate enough to have decoys to bait out its negation before taking it down. I've had more successes against the Chimeratechs, and rarely face Cyber End.
- Toons - they're weird, but brutally effective with their S/T support, either hijacking my monsters, bouncing them, or simply desecrating my grave, not counting their direct attacks. That and they're hard to kill once they get that one continuous Trap and Field Spell out.
Nekroz gets the honourable mention? They should be on the top of your list.

GIVE ME YOUR FACEGreat Horn of heaven sounds pretty strong, at least against pendulum summons.
I do indeed, but I don't use it much nor am I very funny. Just exceptionally British. I'll fund out how to cut out my taskbar on OBS too. And maybe make a "Plum" theme for DevPro, no matter how awesome having a Dean Ambrose background is.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Regarding Cyber Dragons, what I do is include one Cyber End and one Malefic Cyber End in my deck. If there's a field out, including my own, I get Malefic, by banishing Cyber End. Then later on in the duel, I can revive that banished Cyber End with Cyber Network. Cyber End's effect isn't one that "activates", so it still gets it.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyYou can't summon Cyber End that way. To be summoned from the Banished Zone or Graveyard, a Nomi or Semi-Nomi monster must have first been Special Summoned properly since the last time it was in the Extra Deck/Deck. In this case, the "proper" method of Summon is by Fusion Summon from the Extra Deck.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Ah, huh. Well, good thing I've only incorrectly done that once then.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThis is why I recommend DevPro. You can't fuck up. Also, you can make it look pretty. Also, it stops rules-lawyering asshats.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Duelingnetwork Rules Laywers!
Hence I activate Enemy Controller in the damage step, you don't get your Honest back, and I'm Caiusing that in my turn NEENER NEENER NEENER!
An accurate portrayal of DN Rules Lawyers.
The new stuff looked interesting. I saw a DDD fusion on there, looks like Card Game Gendo is getting more stuff.
I worry that Great Horn will have a disparate impact on those players or moves who aren't spammy, by stopping the one thing we'd do in M1. Spammy players could just continue in M2.
The sad, REAL American dichotomySo, now that we've got a new Black Luster Solider and a new Black Skull Dragon and all, I've noticed they've been making a lot of nostalgia cards based on classic Yugioh, so I decided to use them to throw together some Duelist Kingdom-themed decks. I, uh, haven't actually tested them, so I don't know if they're any good, but the idea here was to try and base them around summoning the more iconic monsters (as opposed to including every single crappy normal monster).
Joey's◊ (I wish it didn't have to have Summoned Skull in it, though... *scowls at Red-Eyes Lightning Lord and mumbles angrily*)
I thought about doing Mai and Pegasus Duelist Kingdom decks, but most of Pegasus's new support is from the Doma saga and GX era, and Mai's would just look like a regular Harpy Lady deck with Mirror Wall thrown in.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I already use what's in part an updated Mai deck. Anti-Spell Fragrance combos really well with the field.
Nice touch in using all of the support cards Joey got before Duelist Kingdom in his deck.
I'm actually quite proud of this one.◊ I hadn't used my Sea Serpents in a while, so I brought them out. Wound up being against another Red Eyes deck. First turn, I do the Neptabyss setup, then Big Wave Small Wave it into Daedalus, ensuring I put it in the grave. On his turn, he gets out Archfiend BSD, inflicts 3000 damage, and backs it up with 2 set cards and that Red Eyes equip monster.
My turn, I use Surface to revive Neptabyss. Use Neptabyss to get Poseidra in grave and Infantry in hand. Normal summon Infantry, then use my second Normal on Tridon. Summon Poseidra from grave, using those three, which returns his 3 back row to hand, destroys his monster, and gets me a Marksman. I attack directly with those two, triggering Marksman's effect (which makes him rage quit).
I'm proud of it because I never Neptabyss'ed Poseidra into the grave to summon it before, and it was my first time using Big Wave Small Wave. Also, Dat Turnaround. I started my second turn with an empty field, and the only card in my hand at the start that I used was Surface.

GIVE ME YOUR FACE
There's only 75 Dinosaur type monsters in the game. I'm trying to work on my "Jurassi Cage" Dinosaur deck, but it could use a little more oomph. Are there any continuous cards that penalize the opponent in some way when a card returns to their hand? Something like Skull Invitation?
Also, Black Tyrano would work perfectly in my deck, if only it were level six. It could be searched by Fossil Dig, summoned easily, Black Ptera could go right into it, and it could attack directly an opponent trying to get around my field.
Maybe since Black Brachios has come out, they could add a WATER/Dinosaur "Black something from here" to the Black Dinosaur series.
I think maybe Dinosaurs and Sea Serpents should've collectively been "Kaiju" type, with the Sea Serpents being WATER/Kaiju. I mean of the other original types, only Thunder is as underdeveloped.
