Honestly, I'd use my own "Cold Control" (Wetlands/Penguin/Ice Barrier/Control) deck, but I'm having a disturbing amount of fun with my sea serpents. Remember back when this thread was young, and I was hoping sea serpents would get support? Well, now they can FTK. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Has anything come out in the last year that supports that deck type? Mine is possibly due for an update.
Okay, on the other hand, my Sea Serpents just went 7 straight turns without a single summonable monster or playable card. Weird opening shuffle.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyIt took a good while, but the game did eventually remember Plants, Sea Serpents, and Reptiles existed.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Is there something new for Reptiles?
Konami's thought process is often:
"We need some new dragon cards."
"What about Dinosaurs? Or Reptiles? Or Sea Serpe—"
"NO. Dragons."
Having used my Sea Serpents a bit more, I know that they can be halted, but more often than not, getting Neptabyss on the field and having an Atlantean in hand is basically an "I win" combo. I've still got other backups in case that doesn't work out.
Next deck for me to try probably should be my Spirit deck. I'm wondering if Future Visions is still better than Extra Net for it. It seems that my opponent would just get to keep their monsters safe. There's other things in it that need work, too.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyAliens and Evols both involve Reptile support.
They're still a relatively unsupported type, but for a very long time literally their only support was Ultra Evolution Pill, which didn't support Reptiles themselves but turned them into Dinosaurs.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."The Worms are reptiles too, aren't they? What I meant when I asked was that I thought there was something more recent than that.
If only there was a line of reptile monsters many people like, with a lot of backstory, who could use something supporting them.
Which?
Currently testing Legendary Maju Garzett and Supply Squad in my Berserk Fury deck. More cool cards for that deck.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyI won anyway without finding out, but can a monster equipped with Gravity Blaster (in this case, my Jinzo/Blaster combination) declare an attack against a monster (Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu) that protects itself from having an attack declared against it?
No, right?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyRight.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertIt just negates a monster's effect it actually can do battle with, simply put. It's kind of nice when it destroys nearly every Shaddoll effect, and gets around a ton of Masked Heroes, and even some other Heroes(like Absolute Zero, if you can launch the attack before it leaves the field, anyway).
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Oh, I know how it works, as it has been one of my favored cards for a while now, especially before I took my dueling hiatus. I just wanted to be sure in this particular instance.
I really love how trolly it is.
"Trolly" is apparently a word in my computer's dictionary

The sad, REAL American dichotomyit's probably referring to the vehicle you'd see in big cities (like a cross between a bus and a single-car train)

Maybe, but that's spelled "trolley"...
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertI didn't even need to win to be trolly.◊
There wasn't a damn thing he could do, and as soon as I could attack, I'd be spamming draws and destroying his cards.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyDid you duel his Plant deck?
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertNo, as I have plenty of confidence in my own plant deck, and he was being verbally abusive from the start.
Speaking of my faith in my plant deck, there was a moment in this duel against Frognarchs in which I had nothing on the field, and only Trade-In in my hand. I drew Talaya, traded it in for Closed Forest and Miracle Fertilizer, and then between those and the Tytannial and Lonefire Blossom in my grave, this is where we ended up◊. I'll admit I had a bit of luck there, but my deck didn't let me down! This duelist was also rather rude, unfortunately. I seem to be running into a lot of jerks and quitters, but also some really polite people every now and then. It's mostly the extremes.
There are so many duels with my plant deck that the only damage I take comes from ramming Lord Poison or something into the Black Garden token it generates.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyEh? That Red-Eyes Spirit trap card seems a tad redundant seeing as Return of Red-Eyes exists, along with a number of other ways a Red-Eyes can be revived, both archetype-specific, type-specific and probably generic.
Personally, I was hoping for more info on Red-Eyes Tracer Dragon (all that is known is that it's Level 4 and Dark).
Playing against AI on YGOPRO has made me realise just how much I hate
- Fire Kings,
- Shadoll Artifacts,
- Star Seraph Satellars,
- Lightsworns
- Nekroz (or is it Necloth?),
as well as individual cards like
- Exciton Knight,
- Raphsody in Berserk,
- Constellar Ptolemy M7 and Pleiades and
- Castel,
And I'm sure there are many more that I will hate, if I ever get the chance to encounter them.
Remember way back when things going to the graveyard was a bad thing?
Sometimes I miss those days.
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.Red eyes spirit can get REDMD immediately while you'd have to wait for Return to be destroyed to do that, but I do think having Return of red eyes is good enough.
I miss that too.

What really amuses me is that the terminology was clearly meant to imply it was the worst thing that could happen in the game. I mean, the gameplay mechanics are called getting DESTROYED and sent to the GRAVEYARD. Getting "banished" or "returned to the hand" doesn't have quite the same oomph.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. And yet Konami can't help themselves from adding to the problem.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAnyway I manages to get to get some WSUP packs (I was planning on getting some of the Xyz) the cards that I pulled was:
- Humhumming (the only cards that I wanted and pulled, mainly becuase I like twintales and the fact that I had the other Djinns)
- Galaxy Soldier
- Naturia Gaiastrio (I appreciate for have 3200 ATK, kinda a rarity for monsters to exceed 3000)
- Marshalling Field (if you're making an Arc-Light deck this card would be helpful...but You might need to get the first Premium Gold set and Number Hunters id thatw as your goal anyway)
- BO Xer (INB 4 rimshot)
- Wattsyic Fighter
- Jacusalin
- Assault Halibred
- that spell with the D Rulers
- Augmented Heraldry
- The ghostrick trap
- and Flowerbot
you;d think with 6 Numbers that it would be easy to find 1 of them in 3 packs... At least I can say I got all the Djinns again
In other news, I decided to build a vanilla pendulum deck and I was wondering if anyone else knew the concept?
Igknights are coming out soon enough, and they are all Normal monsters except when in the Pendulum Zone, where they have Pendulum effects. There's also the two Dragoons cards.
That said, I bought two boxes World Superstars. I pulled everything in one box except Legendary Dragon of White.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I guess almost everyone here know the Normal Pendulum deck, it was quite popular a while back and it is still frequently seem on some random Duels.
here the result of one duel using this deck (after I made some corrections)◊
another pic of the deck in action◊

I got 2 Numbers in my WSUP pack. Future King Hope and Nova Kaiser. ^_^
I didn't get any Heraldic or Heroic cards except the shit field though.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.
First time playing Wetland Direct Attack in a while.◊ I think that's a pretty good start.
From the same game.◊ "im on it bro its ok" -puts own monster in grave when he uses Mirror Force-
He forgot to mill from JD later in the game as well. =/
