2,841 inbounds. Great masses of people are accepting this title.
And Epic Blockbuster souds a bit too much like Summer Blockbuster, that would invite Trope Decay for any blockbuster. Most of them are described as "epic", but the point is that these fims are primarily popularized by their epicness, both in marketing and in word of mouth.

Are they? They're finding the page, but is it what they're looking for?
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.It excludes google searches, so these are only examples where someone intentionally gave a link for others to visit.

2000 inbound links is a fair number, but that doesn't make the title any more meaningful. You see my problem, I hope. I just feel it could do with a better name. The use of "epic" to mean "really good" is a pet peeve of mine, depending on context, so I can see your point about my suggested title. It's something that probably wouldn't be as big an issue as you think, though, as the trope description is pretty damned clear.

But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.I don't think it needs a rename, but maybe a simple redirect of Big Fucking Movie (or Big Effing Movie? not sure if we allow profanity in trope names.)
There doesn't seem to be much misuse, at least by TV Tropes standards.
Jet-a-Reeno!Big Freaking Movie would be the correct redirect.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickYeah, that does make more sense.
Jet-a-Reeno!At least I'd know what the hell that means. If we're not supposed to have initialized redirects, how the hell do we have initialized trope names? That's my main beef here.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold. This has been brought up before, and I'm surprised it hasn't been changed.
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdPersonally, I'm in favor not of a redirect, but a rename. Big Freaking Movie would work, since that's what BFM stands for (since we don't want TV Tropes to turn into a Cluster F-Bomb), and we could leave BFM as the redirect. I guess.

But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.Add Big Freaking Movie as a redirect. At two thousand incoming, I'd need to see serious misuse to get that angry at it.
Fight smart, not fair.Should the redirect maybe go the other way? It's not a huge difference, the inbound links would still work and the title at the top of the page would actually be comprehensible.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyRedirect added. Still think BFM and Big Freaking Movie should trade places, tho.
And ninjed on part two of that post.

But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.BFM as Big Freaking Movie doesn't even appear on the Free Dictionary's list of 33 commonly used meanings of the acronym. To further complicate things, Big Furry Monster is #13, Big Fat Meanie is #17 and Big Freaking Mallet is #21.
Big Freaking Sword is also missing from the list of 38 common meanings for BFS. Big Freaking Gun, on the other hand, is #14 of 24 for BFG.
I agree that the redirect should go the other way; the acronym simply isn't in wide use the way we're using it.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Really, the only title that can claim protection for the acronum is BFG, the original pre-existing term. BFS might squeek by on a combination of Grandfather Clause and the fact that it's at least related. Everything else, we have rules against initialisim for a reason.
(And BFG only just squeeks around getting nailed for work-title conflict because the Rhold Dahl book is The BFG/

I'd say it needs a rename. It's a Snowclone of the BFG, BFS and BFB, but it doesn't have much in common with them: It's not about a weapon, it's not the same definition of "big" (actual size vs popularity), and in my opinion it doesn't really have the same connotations with the "F" in the middle either. Rename is needed.
I wouldnt mind renaming all the Initial tropes to something related with Initials still as redirects (not bothering to go though the wicks)
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!What's wrong with just calling it "Epic Movie" and putting the Selzer And Friedberg film into a Film namespace? That's the usual term for this type of film, after all.
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdWhile I like that — that's exactly what it is, after all — it would mean hunting down all the references to that particular collection of pop culture references passing as jokes movie and fixing them.
Epic Movie is a title of a film and we dont like tropes and works to have the same title things get messy.
To pothole the actual movie you would have to type Film / Epic Movie (without spaces) every single time.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!But the film is named after the term, not the other way around.
Good point. I can understand if there's little enthusiasm to do that.
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdBTW, if we rename this, we can still keep the abbreviation as a redirect and thus keep the inbound links, the same as when we renamed some other tropes. We renamed "The Law of Bruce" to The Villain Makes the Plot, but still kept the old name as a redirect, even though the old name had loads of inbound links.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. The point of killing snowclones is to kill them dead. Which means that if it gets a full rename instead of "Big Freaking Movie", the old name will likely be cutlisted after a while.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold. How about Overblown Movie?
Accidental mistakes are forgivable, intentional ones are not.
Crown Description:
What does the 'M' stand for?
If you said anything other than Movie, then you might want to consider helping me find a better name for this trope.
Currently proposing Epic Blockbuster as those seem to be the two requirements: it must be epic in scope, and a big-budget, big-name movie.
