In the meantime, ideas for reconstruting the puzzle:

• the hammer is a tool that has sometimes been used as a weapon.
• the Hammer Bros. are prominent fixures in the Mario series.
• "Hammer Time" is a meme phrase from MC Hammer's song "Can't Touch This".
• "Hammer Time" is an attack used by a Hammer Bro. in Super Mario RPG.

I'm betting the first and third may be in use here. Can the clues we get be related to anything like:

• people/characters/tools/ using hammers?
• words with "hammer" in them?
• MC Hammer songs/albums?
• lyrics from "Can't Touch This"?

Looking at some answers, the letters h, a, m, e and r seem to be coming up a lot, and in order, like in "Warmer" or "hams". Could that be significant?

Those letters might be on purpose, seeing as burden could possibly be shame...

Hmm, maybe Tapper is the bartending game, rather than a game played by bartenders
