Remake Unleashed?

Yahtzee: There's stuff in my Crisper drawer older than that game!

My remake concept is much Darker And Edgier, on par with the melodrama of 06, Shadow, and SATAM.

Aaaand that's when I stopped reading.

I thought that The Adventure Series was Darker And Edgier for that time, I mean, A giant monster who destroy an entire city, and a dark secret of the Goverment

I know! Replace Eggman with Robotnik Prime, give Sonic a gun, and instead of the werehog let him transform into Super Sonic!

Am I the only one here who liked playing Sonic '06?

Darker and Edgier was what made Sat AM likable and Shadow the Hedgehog (game) unlikable. I don't know where I was going with that.

They should remake Sonic Shuffle DON'T SHOOT THAT IDEA DOWN YET plz. Just have Hudson do EXACTLY what they did with Mario Party games (no card-pulling crap) and add/replace characters (along with graphics tune-up) and Voila! A nice Sonic Expy of Mario Party. I'd get it.

Miru probably enjoyed 06 too. But other than that no.

In response to the OP:

I enjoyed '06 because of its Narm Charm and for introducing Silver, who I love. I still think it's a mockery to the rest of the series. I can even except Shadow's game as part of the franchise, but with '06 I try to ignore its place in the series.

I liked 06, though not as much as the other titles. I wouldn't play through again and it's buggy, but I liked the game. The only things I think I hated about it were Princess Elise, the strangely unsettling Real!Dr. Eggman, parts of the story (mostly the stuff near the end) and some of Silver's levels. The music was probably the biggest factor in the game's favor for me.

Maybe my priorities are screwed up, but the thing I hated the most was the story. It made no sense and then there's the whole Blaze debacle.

It's perfectly fine to dislike '06 for the story. But speaking of having priorities mixed up, a friend(?) of mine mentioned that he liked Colors for the graphics, but complained a little bit that there was "too much platforming."
Other friend: Isn't it supposed to be a platformer?
Friend: It's supposed to be a running game.

I'm pretty sure he's played Unleashed. But yeah, he tends to miss a lot of points.

Next Gen Never happened, so yeah, I think that is not in the timeline. Now, from a more darker series, we have Adventures, Sa Ta M and Crhonicles for that, but another more doesnt hurt anyone...
