Absent Minded Theater

Just made a trope page because this comic needs some love. Make sure you start on the first page—major spoilers in the current update.

(I honestly almost started crying at one point. When's the last time anything made you cry, let alone a webcomic?)

(Oh, and when I was almost crying? It was still funny. Holy shit, that's tragicomedy like I never knew tragicomedy could be.

:D "Parental rage KICK!" I am loving this. Seriously. It's hilarious and yet still a little tragic. And I want to know what the hell is up with that prophecy-type-thing.

Hm, I don't see at which point you would start crying. It's pretty sad in some places, but it didn't make me weep.

All in all, I heartily second this recommendation. The art is a bit rough, but that's because the artist is constantly trying new things and new angles. I foresee quite a lot of development in the near future.

lol, the "weeping tears of narrative satisfaction" was hyperbole, but the omg heartwrench was (I'm going to move this to the discussion thread)...

Hello there.

I would ask if there is a page for this comic

http://www.beanleafpress.com/?p=42

The name of this webcomic is The Bean and so far , I think it's pretty good. I can't seem to find any page about it here.

[up] As far as I know, this "The Bean" does not have a page.

In the future, I think you want to take such requests to You Know That Show.

I found the trope page for the comic just awhile ago. You're right. It pretty devoid of anything right now. Further grasping or inquiries shall be posted at the designated thread. Thank you for pointing me the way

Self-promotion: I do a daily fantasy comic called The Mansion of E. The trope-page for it is here. If you like the plots of Gunnerkrigg Court or Girl Genius you might enjoy it; lots of characters, lots of backstory, a large world to explore. The art... well.. ahem.

If I may self-plug a bit as well: http://www.wtfcomic.net - slice-of-life with some kung-fu action. I had to put the trope page under the "webcomics" namespace due to overlapping titles with a trope.

Hey, not too bad! I like the way you use color, the art is a bit shabby at times but very dynamic and clean, and the characters make me think of what Scott Pilgrim must be like. (I wish I could read that series, but fate is conspiring against me.)

Yay, got my own webcomic on the internet too now! Check it!

Huh. Apparently Awakened is finally back on its feet. I remember that series; REALLY good, REALLY creepy.

I agree with dundee. Your art is good, little webcomic newbster. Your writing needs some refining though. Have good ideas, but your execution is lukewarm.

Dustpit Follies is good for a couple chuckles. Some of it's better if you're familiar with computers or paranormal/conspiracy radio show, but it's not necessary for the majority of strips.

I'm a huge fan of Frederick the Great: A Most Lamentable Comedy Breaching Time and Space (found here). Anyone care to help me set up an article for it? I'll start with a redlink: Frederick the Great

EDIT: Article is up, but needs some love.

The art and the colors, they hurt. :( I wish I could say something about the writing, but the art is too distracting. Guess I'm just spoiled.

^^^It's really personal humour. One strip might make me chuckle, the next would leave me cold. It runs repeat strips - not cool. :-(
