Considering what Ubi Soft did to certain pc ports (OHI Assasins Creed 2 can I play your game today or are the servers down?) I can understand why they are hyperventillating about the ps3 hack.
Edit: Then I found this little gem
- Walfisz claims that the only solution is to release the Play Station 4

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. Not with those 20 GB torrents, it won't.
The new It Just Bugs Me!Newsflash: Remember the Apple case? Jailbreaking is legal.
Geohot might be an Insufferable Genius, but holy shit he has balls.
Hmm, you're right. That's probably the best course of action.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! Not going to post my personal views of piracy since that discussion goes nowhere, but it's fun to watch Sony get knocked down a peg or two. If they didn't want piracy on their machine, they should have taken care of this much, much earlier.
Also, am I the only one who read this:
And immediately thought "NO GAEMZ!"
I'm a dyed-in-the-wool card-carrying slashdot-reading Electronic-Freedom-Foundation-loving Groklaw-following Wikileaks-supporting... person-type-thing.
With that said, Linus Torvalds did say that "Tivo-ization" is okay, so perhaps if Sony really wants to fight piracy they should just plain make better hardware that can only be cracked by replacing a chip. And make sure that their hardware is actually competitive with the other big platforms. And make sure that the cost to develop for their platform is competitive with the other big platforms. And best of all, perhaps allow for toolchains that work for the PC/X-Box combo to also work for their own platform.
At this point, Sony is like the music industry, clinging on to something that will inevitably fall out of their grasp if they continue to display a lack of creativity or critical/strategic thinking.
Gee, great analysis, Captain Obvious!

Okay, to be fair, Hotz is probably saying that Sony is just being petty and childish, but that would be Kettle v. Pot re: Black accusation.
Jonah FalconI think he's saying that because they really can't sue him since Jailbreaking is legal.
Wow. I boycott Ubisoft for a reason but I'm still baffled whenever these Jokers open their mouths. It's like tuning into a radio station broadcasting from the bizarro dimension and hosted by lobotomized super villains. Buffoonery.
And Sony, bohoo. Everybody told you that removing Other OS would have this result and you didn't listen. Welcome to the real world where bad decisions have consequences. Now it's time to play the blame game and as always, the messenger is getting shot first.
Remember when Ubisoft was cool?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Another reason Hotz may win his case: The USAF made a supercomputer out of a bunch of PS3s running Linux. Only Sony kinda fucked up that plan when they decided to discontinue Linux support for the PS3.
Hotz, with his crack, has just made life a bit easier for the united states government. If his legal team are any good, they'll bring in someone from the USAF as an expert witness to testify how Hotz is a TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOT.
Hackers: THE TRUE HEROES OF AMERICA
Things get even worse for Sony. Someone created homebrew to unlock Trophies without actually playing the games.
Jonah FalconLet me know when someone robs money from your pocket and steals your property. I know a lot of developers who have been hurt by those assholes.
I know a few who have stopped bothering to develop games.
Hope you like bundleware and Deer Hunter games - you'll get a lot more of them.

Jonah FalconThat comment may have been slightly less than serious.
In fact,my sarcasm detector starting beeping.
New theme music also a boxYeah I'm going to bet that way.
Holy crap, that USAF PS 3 supercomputer story was REAL? Reminds me of the rumors of a missile-guidance system powered by P S2s being used by Saddam. "Funny Aneurysm" Moment?
Anyways... Yeah, i'm just going to watch. This is sorta like Evil Versus Evil to me. Mostly because i'm an Xbo X fanboy though.
Bleye knows Sabers. This is just a trainwreck to me, and I'm not a fan of Sony's constant bullshit and arrogance.
Jonah FalconBut they made Kevin Butler! That ALMOST makes up for those crazy exploding rubix cubes and crying toy babies!
... What was with those anyways?
Bleye knows Sabers.
And more to come, probably.
