I had to reread the third panel to notice she was preparing to schlick.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyNew SotR. Can someone's largely passive use as a not-very-secret weapon be flanderised?

= Spindriver =This guy is becoming the fabled male Didi, isn't he?
New Ma3. Downer ending.
= Spindriver =I feel for Sonya, especially because I don't buy Zii and DiDi as a couple. Until now, their feelings for each other were depicted as friendship on DiDi's part and lust on Zii's, and now they're suddenly in love. Looks like a case of Strangled by the Red String to me.

Yeah, the stuff from their past that convinced them that they were in love without knowing it didn't really convince me either.
= Spindriver =New Ma3. Adult on deck alert.
= Spindriver =New SotR. Effective use of assets.
= Spindriver =New Ma3 strip. Collateral casualties.
= Spindriver =... incoming! *Dives for a foxhole*
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |It's not factually on-point, but Gary catching a facefull of the wrong kind of pussy from Sonya is a great visual metaphor for the failure of their relationship.

Can someone remind me why Sonya and Gary broke up?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. She found out just how boring he was in bed beyond the swirly...that had a lot to do with it.
And she mostly wanted him in the first place to spite Yuki/while repressing her desire for Yuki.
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |Boring full stop, mostly. Gary was still very just-post-virginity, they had very little in common, and Sonya craves excitement and novelty like they have never been craved before.
They're still quite friendly, though, in an Ma3 sort of way, and Sonya has made at least one booty call to Gary (which was actually part of her little plot for getting closure with Yuki).
= Spindriver =New Ma3. A (wom)man hears what (s)he wants to hear and disregards the rest.
= Spindriver =Well, Zii has a point, Sonya did say many times that she doesn't want commitment - she should not have lied. On the other hand, she was very unconvincing, and not much earlier she said "I would stick with your life if you'd ever let me", so Zii was a fool to believe her. Yeah, if she believed it, it's because she wanted to.
Sonya's confession of love is much more convincing than DiDi's; she thought she was in love with Kiley too. I really don't know how she'll have a relationship with Zii; aside from sex, she doesn't seem to have much understanding about human interaction.

Lita is so cute.
On another note, new SOTR is up. Not sure if I should link; second panel involves female nudity that is censored by conveniently placed arms, while fourth panel depicts the girl's buttocks in nothing but a thong bikini bottom.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Genius Bonus: Marie swears in old British comics titles. Because of course she does.
= Spindriver =I really don't like those twins as characters.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyNot even in a Love to Hate way?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. One is certainly not meant to like them. (And we have no particular evidence that they're blood relatives, incidentally.) But they're clearly designed to show that the people in Domenico's agency really aren't all that bad.
= Spindriver =Nah, more in a "I'm annoyed that they're in a strip I'm reading" way.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy
DiDi is finally thinking logically. She realized that she can only get orgasms from people she has feelings for. She has no feelings for Sonya, so Sonya actually has nothing to offer to her. No matter how good her tricks are, they'd fail, just like Gary failed with the swirly.
