He helped Kiley to shop for hers, and presumably picked up his own at the same time. Peggy recently returned to her apartment with a bag whose contents were potentially embarrassing somehow; the obvious bet is that it was her mask purchase. As Matt had forgotten entirely to even invite Gary until now, it's unlikely that he's got a mask for him. A quick lunge into Gary's geek-stuff collection may well be indicated.

Upper-face-only mask? Dunno about anyone else, but if I was going to wear a mask during sex, I'd insist on that.
Oh, it's all going to go pear shaped somehow. (It can't go right for everyone, after all — certainly not for Matt and for Gary.) Quite how remains to be seen.

It's been made increasingly clear for some time that Angel is anatomically female (but presents ... however Angel is feeling that day, with a bias to masculine if Jerzy seems to need enticing). I'm a little surprised that anybody hasn't picked this up by now. Targetted archive binge recommended.
