Sounds like just a retelling of the story so far, which is pretty much what I'd expect from a little promo movie thing like this.
Yeah, I shoulda expected that instead of any real new content honestly. I'm a little disappointed they haven't already had a clear indication what they want to do with Demon Homura.
Well, I want them to go with the characterization doujin's use, with Akuma Homura being really ineffective at being a bad person.
I do however admit this is not going to happen, and would probably ruin the tone of the entire series.
Well I can hope for omake's can't I?

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobI think you can do a dramatic version of that though, like Walter White. Have her try to play the calculating, Magnificent Bastard when in reality she can't keep up that facade.

That could be an interesting route for the story to take.
The particular examples that I was talking about comes from a comedy doujin called "Madoka-san, Please!". And another called "Akumade Homuhomu | Homuhomu Only" In which Homura is simply adorable in trying to be a bad guy.
Examples include: Pretending she takes her tea black like a devil (she needs to add cream when Madoka isn't looking) and telling Tatsuya Santa doesn't exist "Isn't is natural for me to oppose providence in this world?"

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobSo did anyone see the movie or read the concept movie script? It sounded pretty cool. Madoka has a new magical girl outfit. It also looks like Homura can summon a Kriemhild Gretchen like creature.
Considering that Homura's crown looks remarkably similar to Gretchen's witch's kiss, perhaps Homura got her "aiyo" powers by taking on Madoka's witch form? That would make sense from the dualistic standpoint Rebellion was pushing. If this is the case, conflict in inevitable, but reconciliation in the conceptual world as a unified concept is more or less guarenteed.

Hey, that ballerina in the ANN link from the last page, is that Homura or Madoka?
Something tells me it might be Homura...
Wasn't it Mami who danced like a ballerina in that opening bit of Rebellion? I remember Madoka had her idol dance, Sayaka brokedanced, and Homura fell without style, but I can't quite recall what the other two did.
I've seen a colored image where it was Madoka, but I don't know if that's official or fanmade.
So the concept movie has been shown, right? What all happened in it?
Maybe in the "Holy Quintet" thing (Mami's part looks more like ice skating to me), but in the very beginning there's a bunch of ballerina silhouettes, and Madoka appears among them. That concept movie image seems to be Madoka, she's the only one that wears giant poofy dresses, but I guess it's kinda hard to tell...
I remember being told that Hitomi would play a big role in Rebellion. Didn't quite pan out like that.
Well! I guess that counts as concrete news. Time to get properly excited!
I'd like to be the first man on the moon. There's going to be more Madoka Magica!? :D
I have no idea what I'm doing. At all.Looks like the concept video just leaked, although something tells me I can't link it. Mami's fucking pissed.
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realThis series is going to continue until every character is some sort of god isn't it?
Well, I'm certainly looking forward to it, but I'm not getting too excited until we learn more, like dates and stuff.
Obviously, Homura's gonna date Madoka, Kyoko's gonna date Sayaka, and Mami's gonna be alone again.
Wait, that's not what you mean?
Now known as Cyber ControllerI'm down for it.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I really hope not. (I hate Kyo Saya with a burning passion)
I never quite got what made it so popular to begin with but I wouldn't object to a romantic relationship between the two.
I think their Together in Death scene gave them a massive shipper push. When Kyoko sacrificed herself not for any pragmatic gain, but solely so that Sayaka wouldn't have to die alone, a lot of people saw that as a huge romantic gesture far above and beyond what anyone would reasonably be expected to do for a friend or rival.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.
Well, I'm going to wait for concrete news before getting excited.
