They're repeats of the show.
I wouldn't say they're not worth watching. They're really pretty.
If you have the time, I'd like to know what you guys think about this (pretty balanced) look at the series.
It's also only now that I realize how bizarre some of the visuals in Rebellion can appear on a first watch.
So when is the English Rebellion DVD coming out?
Most likely, next year.
And I figure that whoever will be Nagisa's English VA will be one of the Skullgirls alumni.
How far will your 20 pesos go?I think that was a good review of the series, from how he explained its popularity to the character motivations. As for the movie, I personally enjoyed it, but I can understand his reasons for not liking it. I especially liked his explanation describing Madoka as more of a Darker and Edgier Magical Girl show rather than just a deconstruction of the genre.
...The thought of a Pac-Man inspired game starring Charlotte never crossed my mind at all.

Madoka doesn't feel like a deconstruction to me.
don’t call me nerdy [img][/imgAwwww.... I wanted it for my birthday.
October just began, but here are some Halloween costumes for ya. I like Madoka's and Mami's the most, with Kyouko's close behind.
There's also Mami canvas art being sold.

A sleeveless skeleton costume just doesn't seem right. Those arms are clearly fleshy, and it ain't good for my suspension of disbelief.
Can anyone please recommend a good piece of Kyouko official art or fanart with a somber and/or contemplative tone to it?

It's Madoka's birthday!
Happy birthday for Madoka!
So discussion wise.... What do you think about the witches? They seem to still be intelligent and driven by more than a desire to survive. Kirstein tortured Madoka with the memories of Mami's death and Izabel spoke to Homura when she brought her into her own labyrinth. It makes the witches seem like a worst deal than most monster since they are not mindless.

When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons.Witches feed off despair. Kristen torturing Madoka indefinitely would get her indefinite despair. That doesn't indicate higher thought.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Witches act according to their natures, I'd venture. Kirsten is covetous; she seems to collect her victims' memories.
Izabel is the artist witch. I think it's mentioned somewhere that she cannibalizes people who wander into her barrier and turns their bits into 'art'.
Heart of StoneMadoka didn't have any mark on her showing she had been cursed. Kirstein made her victims attack Madoka as soon as it was clear that she hadn't fall into her curse. And she picked memories that would work best against Madoka. It seems more like it was driven to cause as much pain as possible rather than feeding.
The point that Izabel spoke still stands. Also their labyrinths still have human aesthetics to them and we know that the witches construct them purposely(We seen Homura's familiar building her labyrinth and Gertrud's are suppose to maintain her "garden". This is highly unlikely if their were mindless and really should have clued people in on them being human.
When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons.Insects like bees, ants, and termites construct complex structures despite being mindless.
Using processes that related signals to actions that humans don't possess. The incubators didn't design witches it is something they discover so why should I expect witches to gain instincts and lose intelligence when intelligence would explain it just fine?
Not to mention as I said that they(the labyrinths) are constructed to human aesthetics. In other words there aesthetic sense is retain from their old selves. Sayaka's was constructed around a scene from her memories showing that they can remember their own memories from before becoming witches.
Just the fact that they have a human aesthetics sense should be a alarm bell to their true nature.
When life gives you lemons, burn life's house down with the lemons.@Hitomi's Wish: It depends on the context. More time with Kyousuke would make sense for her, but if this was the Hitomi in TL 5 where she's having that guilt trip over Sayaka, then her wish might be to either "bring her back" or "go back and let her have Kyousuke".
Or it could be like that one doujin and her wish is to NTR Kyousuke.
Almost forgot to wish Madoka a happy birthday.
Hope you receive your powers back soon!

I'm wondering, do any of you know if Suzune Magica and/or Tart Magica are going to get a translation?
No you can't call me Jar(i) I am not a glass containerI finally watched PMMMM Rebellion.
It is the second piece of fiction to give me a new emotion. I think it's infatuation. I look at Sayaka and my chest hurts and I want us to cling to each other and cry into each others shoulders and have her whisper in my ear that everything is going to be all right and to stare at her face and play with her hair and bake muffins in the kitchen together and what's wrong with me!?
waifufeels.txt
But that's just it! I don't want to have sex with her or see her naked or anything. I don't understand!
Not that I know of.

I like the Charlotte themed-outfits.
Does anyone think 1st films are worth watching, or are they just repeats of the show?
