I haven't played Xenoblade Chronicles or FF 6 yet. Those are on my "must-play" list.

Well, since we're on that kick, my five faves (not ranked or otherwise listed in any particular order, because they're all awesome in their own ways):

  1. Secret of Mana (my gateway RPG)
  2. Final Fantasy VI
  3. Chrono Trigger
  4. Live A Live
  5. Seiken Densetsu 3 (a.k.a. the Secret Of Mana sequel whose US release got canceled at the 11th hour for some incomprehensible reason [/bitter])

The enemies I need to defeat now is Spekkio's final form(As in grind to Level 99 to get it to appear)and the Dream Devourer.

The Black Omen has awesome music but it is the type of dungeon you'd go to once to complete it and get New Game Plus because it is so damn long.

One interesting thing I noticed in Chrono Trigger is that, barring Magus, every character has exactly 3 Dual Techs with each other character. For example:

Chrono and Marle get Aura Whirl, Ice Sword, and Ice Sword II
Frog and Ayla get Slurp Kiss, Bubble Press, and Dropdown
Robo and Lucca get Fire Punch, Flame Tackle, and Double Bomb.

It's a nice yardstick to know who still has double techs to uncover, and whether you need to learn new moves to make it so.

Triple Techs aren't so easily classified, though. However, if I remember correctly, if Crono is not involved in the triple tech, it's one of the ones that requires a Gemstone.

Crono has a triple tech with every character pair that does not include Magus. There are five others (two of which involve Magus) that require stones.

What is your favourite enemy and boss?

Mine is Nu and Lavo's Final form.

I don't really pay much attention to the standard enemies so I can't comment on that. My favorite boss is probably Magus just because the music is awesome.

The Lost Sanctum (DS exclusive dungeon) pays well but is incredibly tedious. The Primeval Fortress is just the Tyranno Lair with a few changes and palette swapped enemies. Also the Nu Guardian should have joined your party and be avaliable at the start of a New Game Plus. The dialogue could have lampshaded how in hell he could have joined the party despite the fact that the Lost Sanctum only appears after the Black Omen rises from the sea.

[up] I never got to the Primeval Fortress, but you reminded of the Giant's Claw and how lazy it felt to me. For no reason whatsoever, I'm going to assume the Primeval Fortress is worse.

I played all of Chrono Trigger on my 3ds.

[up][up]The difference between Giant's Claw and Primeval Fortress (in my opinion) is that the former can be justified by the Tyranno Lair having changed over thousands of years and is somewhat original. As for the Primeval Fortress, well it was a total rehash to say the least.

The Shades were interesting bonus bosses. I liked how all of the moves had different names than the player characters' equivalents.

Although, it highlighted even more for me the strangeness of the fact that neither Marle or Frog get a Water spell on par with Luminaire, Dark Matter, and Flare.

[up]It would be nice if they were capable of throwing Tsunamis at enemies like in Final Fantasy. But, oh well...

It would make Antipode Bomb III and Delta Force make more sense, too...

Once-King Dalton should have had an attack where he calls the Epoch to attack the party, but no Dalton did not think of that.

I wonder what the game would be like if there was a battle where a gold, red and black version of Chrono with a yellow neckachief wielding a evil version of Rainbow standing on top of the Mammon Machine with the song "The Final Battle" playing. And he would have high level spells.

Point aside what was the point of the Shade bosses,The Dream Devourer and Once-King Dalton were more interesting than them.

I thought Trigger was a good game. Not enough for it to be TOP 54 EVER like it usually gets called, but still good if a little overrated.

I did not like Cross though. I hated the battle system, didn't care for any of the characters, and just didn't have any fun. Did manage to look pretty though.

CT is a good game but it's definitely not one of my favorites(the soundtrack is great though). My favorite 5 JRP Gs would probably be Skies Of Arcadia, Phantasy Star 4, Lost Odyssey, Grandia 2, and The World Ends With You.

Favorites CT track? Mine is Ocean Palace. Such a heavy sense of foreboding from it, like you know something really big is awaiting you. It sounds beautiful too.

I find Ocean Palace to be rather bland to be honest. In fact most of the dungeon and area themes are kind of boring to me. Corridors of Time though. Now that is something I could listen to all day long.

secret of the forest is a work of art. One of the best forest themes in any RPG.

I always forget whether corridors of time is Zeal's theme or the end of time theme. Both are amazing pieces.

One CT track I don't like are the regular battle and boss themes. Kind of boring. The other boss theme is okay, Magus' theme is fantastic. Lavos 2nd form's theme rocks and his third theme is alright.

Out of the character themes excluding Magus, Crono's is my favorite followed by Ayla' and then Robo's. Frog's is nice too. Marle's is kind of soozy but okay. Lucca doesn't even have a real theme of her own, which only makes me like her less.

Other boss theme? Do you mean the one that plays during the Black Tyrano and Son of Sun fights? The first one is very bland I agree.

Frog's and Crono's themes are my favorites. Ayla's is good too. I used to like Robo's but now I keep imagining Rick Astley which ruins it.

I'm kinda fond of the "Robo Roll" myself. It kind of just makes me want to dance around~

(Another musical connection that I haven't been able to unhear: part of Spekkio's theme kind of resembles part of "I Just Can't Wait to Be King.")
