Actually when I had that conversation that chapter hadn't come out yet, but yah. It seems to me the more we find out about her the more disturbing her crush on Allen gets.
It was more like a large hunk of iron in the shape of a sword. What I tend to find more disturbing about Road isn't that she can supply Nightmare Fuel in the blink of an eye with a smile on her face, it's the fact that she has moments where she seems human and looks like a normal, sweet little girl...and then goes right back to Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant. The contrast gives me motion sickness.

Sorry, I wasn't listening. It tends to happen a lot.Knowing this trend, it will be said that, at one point, she and the 14th were like brother and sister.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.And since the 14th is creepy (sexy?) enough on his own right...

Sorry, I wasn't listening. It tends to happen a lot.Well...shit. Saw it coming but still.
CAUSE EVERY GIRL IS CRAZY 'BOUT A SHARP DRESSED MANWait, remind me why that chapter was trying to make us cheer for Road and Tiki, rather than Apologetic Apocalypse A Coco Puff the Innocence man?
I mean, all the clues I noticed suggest that he's in the right here.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Road and Tiki just struck me as the least Grey today.
CAUSE EVERY GIRL IS CRAZY 'BOUT A SHARP DRESSED MANCan we just call it that both sides are evil and choose a side after that?
No, see, it's not Grey-and-Grey Morality, it's Black-and-Grey Morality; and the Noahs are the black portion of it.
And this A Paul-Chris guy? Yeah, he probably killed Cross, and was doing something painful to Allen, but he claimed to have done the former because Cross was plotting something nasty, and the latter was almost certainly an attempt to cleanse Allen of the 14th. Seems he's the whiter shade of grey to me.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."It is also important to note that it is also possible that cleansing the 14th would have some kind of unpleasant effect on Allen, like messing up his early memories, change in personality, etc.
It was more like a large hunk of iron in the shape of a sword. It seems more likely to me that this 'union' thing would kill Allen, or at least his mind. Besides, its seems that 'innocence' aren't exactly good in their own right.
It doesn't help that the church treats Allen like a fugitive despite his constant saving of everyone's asses. Whereas the Noah seem very hospitable in comparison.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI think it was kinda obvious that the 'Innocence' aren't "good" right ever since that one guy got turned into a headless flying angel thing xP
The point was I can't see innocence as a light shade of gray. Everything except the main heroes seem to just be varying shades of the same abysmal darkness.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireSo does anyone actually believe Cross is dead?
CAUSE EVERY GIRL IS CRAZY 'BOUT A SHARP DRESSED MANPoor Communication Kills
I wonder how quick the plot would have resolved itself if Allen and the Innocence demon angle thingy sat down, and figured out what the other wanted, and what they was going to do.
@toalordsothe: Well, I initially thought he was, but then Komui was nice enough to give us a near word-for-word Noone Could Survive That at the same time he noted that they Never Found the Body. Both near give-aways that he's still alive.
But, now that somebody claiming to have killed has shown up, the water gets a little more muddy.
Oh, yes, this. It just annoyed me to see Alex-Crispy get so vilified when he didn't really strike me as being all that bad.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."The anime: is it worth watching, I mean is it more than just a "read the friggin' manga" ending? No Spoilers; please.
Hmm. Well, it certainly doesn't have anything like a conclusive ending, if that's what you mean. It finishes an arc and then, in a lot of ways, just kind of stops.
Nevertheless, I feel like I could recommend watching the anime standalone, there is a decent amount of closure on a lot of things. Think Baccano levels of closure, I guess.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."The anime helps you see whats happening in some of the more intense action sequences. The anime doesn't have an ending, either. I imagine it was left unfinished so as to allow the current arc to be animated at some point.

New chapter is up.
Okay, what the heck just happened to Road?
Imagine Rakan applying Calling Your Attacks to doing paperwork.~Anarchy Rakan for the hell of it COMMISSION THIS BRIDGE!~EHK
You forgot about the age factor. I normally don't have a problem with things like age difference in an implied romance, but in Road's case, combining it with all her other character traits just makes it disturbing more than anything else.
Sorry, I wasn't listening. It tends to happen a lot.
