Yes. When everyone is no longer alive, or when the universe goes through heat death, whichever comes first.

It will never end because humanity is flawed and there will always be those who cross the line beyond redemption.
Who watches the watchmen? That's one of the reasons superheroes stick to fighting crime instead of wars. Wars end.
Fight smart, not fair. You can't permanently defeat "evil" by fighting it anymore than you can permanently defeat the body's need for sustenance by eating. As Long as There Is One Man, there will be hunger *, and as long as there are at least two, there will be "evil" *. These things are such an intrinsic part of humanity that you probably couldn't even genetically engineer them out.
I don't understand why you would pothole that question to an article about a Utopia.Maybe in the future after heavy genetic modification/1984 level mind control there could be a society without crime but it would suck to live in it.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?Actually, you can sort-of do the opposite for the same effect with The Singularity-levels of technology. If everything's free, what reason is there to commit crimes?
Da Rules excuse all the inaccuracy in the world. Listen to them, not me.Sadism, I imagine.
No need to go to heat death extremes (and no one / nothing is going to live up to that point, so "no one alive" comes first). However, it only works so long as you content yourself to supress locality of evil. Just remove as many human beings (or self-aware beings for the matter) that only few enough remain that they can consistently reach consensus on their debates and sustain themselves without important detriment of their ecosystem. Fro there, the only "evil" that remains is the For the Evulz kind, which can not be removed without remotion of the self-awareness anyway.
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google?"I don't understand why you would pothole that question to an article about a Utopia."
Brave New World is not a utopia.
My troper wallNo matter how many times you punch evil in its face, it'll just get back up and say:
But still, it would eat us all alive if the fight stopped, so all we can do is fight back, and make every victory a pyrrhic one.
Of course, the future is never fully known. Mayhaps one day we will find a way to end evil without sacrificing everything that makes us who we are.
Unlikely. Yes.
Impossible: my gut tells me......maybe.

One Strip! One Strip!
This may sound silly but I had read some comics books, seen adaptations as well as some orginal works and it got me thinking will there ever be an end on the fight agianst "evil"? I realize that even if you are are a superhero who had just defeated Dr.Evulz and sent him to prison, there is still going to be other villains al over the place reeking al sorts of havoc. While we may not be superman or Green Lantern or any other superhero, our own real life heroes (policemen, firefighters, soldiers, doctors) pretty much acknowledge the fight never ends. Heroes (real or imagined) can only treat teh symptoms but never the problem. The only way it will end is that the Earth and its inhabitants are destroyed.
As long as there is crime and 'evil', they will always be a war to fight. If that is the case, why the futile fight against soemthing that will not be defeated so easily? However, if we didn't fight fight crime, protect our neighborhoods, defeat the enemy in wars and educating people, things would had gotten much worse. My question is, will the war against 'evil' and crime ever end?
