He isn't.
There are only two playable characters in Type-0 that aren't named with the card motif, and he isn't one of them.
Also, Nine(guy with the spear) has the same VA as Snow while Ace(card guy) has the same VA as Hope.

Wow, this thread is just buzzing.
Anyway, some new info.
- Machina wields a Volt Rapier and Rem equips two daggers.
- In this game "Moogle" stands for "Military Operation Organization Guidance Logistic Expert"
- Talking to the Moogle allows to to go on various side missions. If this is anything like the missions in Crisis Core, I'm never gonna finish this game.

It's like someone was asked to name a main character, fell asleep on his keyboard, and when he woke up declared the jumble of letters on his screen was a name.

I'm pumped for this game. Although, I'm curious, do you guys think it'll get rated M? it looks pretty bloody from the trailer, but there's not really any gore, so I'm not sure.

People said Versus XIII might be rated M, but I doubt Square would really do that, concerning the series' fanbase.
Final Fantasy XII and XIII, maybe X not sure, were rated M in Australia.
This game -will- be an M. At least in Australia.
