...who's Trace?
Let me try that again:
It is a shorter break than Trace had.

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Heh: for normal print-work, try being addicted to Berserk for a bit... That schedule didn't so much slip, as find an enormous ice-rink for an Olympic-class display of figure skating.
SIU's cool when it comes to updates: if he's late, you know something terrible either happened with his computer or the servers. Or, he needed to work on a story arch for a bit: something I don't mind in the least.

After so much character exposition for the the ones pleading Baam to be his companions, I think it's pretty much a Foregone Conclusion that they will join him.
No, really, S.I.U's blog at least confirms Yeon as being part of Baam's group already.
Are you referring to the post where he said that we will see how Yeon and Androssi are similar and how they differ?
Fair enough, but to me, the question of who the remaining two members will be remains. There are five other people he's specifically established, after all.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."I hope it's not the spoiled kid and the demon hand guy...
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body. Why not? If he has the power to keep everyone in line (and he does), why wouldn't he bring the people best suited to go "up" (note I did not say "most powerfull") with him?
Also, it would be iteresting to see the interactions in the team and everyone learn something.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Because I don't like the spoiled kid, although I don't really care if the demon hand guy joins although he seems boring right now.
I wonder how the Ranker will force Baam to make a team. It won't be just beating him up...
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.I'm personally imagining Baam, after his loses his little game with the Ranker, going 'ugh, fine. I'll guess I'll take those five who begged for it and… the two strongest aside from them.'
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."I can see him just choosing the seven people physically closest to him.
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.I'm not going to take bets on who else. The old Baam? Yes, I'd have ideas. But, he's not quite as magnetic in the same ways he used to be... for some unknown reason. Also, call me overly suspicious, but I think we have also been served some herring along the way. I'm just not quite sure which character/s.
Also, minor Fridge Brilliance: I was thinking, before this chapter, that is weird that the test just passed the 8 strongest people, given the emphasis on teamwork elsewhere. What was the point in having skills beyond Shinsoo manipulation if they were just going to pull this stuff, I was wondering.
And then I saw this chapter, and I understood.
It's not the strongest people. It's the team that contains the strongest person.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Maybe that's a test to ensure that the person that had the talent and the hard work would advance along with those that had the people skills to get with them.
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.I also just realised something I should have earlier: this test makes damn sure every team (that is, even if they were a team) that passes this stage has a strong enough Wave Controller/s to survive. Which they might not otherwise have had before, seeing as they are have the lowest proportion of trainees at the 2nd Floor stage. So: going alone? Not good. Going with a lot of people, but no decent Wave Controller with a clue to the job? Not good.
Says a lot for next set of floors, doesn't it?

Hmm... too add on to that Fridge Logic: It is the strongest wave controller who picks the team. That means that person will likely be put in a leadership roll and held responsible for how well the team as a whole does.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!I thought that the Light people were in control of the team most often, or just anyone with enough personal charisma and/or power.
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.Getting the highest score on that thing does not necessarily mean that one is a wave controller. Being awfully good at Shinsoo strengthening (along the lines of Anak, or, at the higher level, along the lines of Yuri) would also do the trick.

Wave Controllers are just most likely to be able to get high scores though.
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.Yeah, but this is setting up Baam to be the official leader of this group, even if someone elce makes the plans.
Hmm... I have another idea, but I would have to go back and read the differences between the "classes" again. I seem to recall the Light class needing a lot of Shinsoo controll ability as well. Just a more specialized version of it.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Yeah I've been feeling the need to marathon part one.
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.Rachel is a light bearer as well? Huh. Did we ever see her use the light cubes?
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.I believe so, but not for very long, since Ho kind of curtailed any chance she had of contributing during the Hide-And-Seek game.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."
He took a short break just after Baam "dies" at the end of floor 2.
I say "short" because it is a whole lot shorter than the break Trace went on.
