Not bad.
@Topo: Good luck! Looking forward to hearing that!
So, I made this back in November but finally just posted it up today. <edited out years later>

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. The sudden speed-up caught me off-guard.
I like to mess with expectations.
(Plus, I didn't think the whole song sounded good entirely at midtempo nor entirely speedy, so I decided that that point there would be a good place to compromise and cut the two together.)
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. That worked wonderfully

No regret shall pass over the threshold!I'm in a frenzy for remaking old songs... Now, I've got at least 3 unfinished new songs.
Remakes, remakes, remakes, remakes, remakes...
(Most reviews that show there are from before the remakes)

"You cannot judge a system if your judgement is determined by the system."@0dd: Thanks, I think I may need a bit of luck.
I have stuff in the works, which is a good sign. You probably wouldn't hear it for a while even if it went well: It'll go through a languishing process of being approved by the band first which can take a while.
Also, that's actually a really cool remix! Very cool indeed. The 'ring get' chimes was a nice touch.
YUUGI WANTS YOU FOR DRINKING BUDDY@Topo: Hey, either way, that's great to hear. You've mentioned before that you write, yes? Anything interesting you have sitting in your backlog? Maybe we can collab on something.
And thank you!! I put more effort into it than I do into a lot of music I've worked on, so it's good to know that shows I'm not quite sure why I tagged it with those sound effects (maybe just because I've had that sound byte sitting on my hard drive not being used for anything else but a custom Skype sound?), but I definitely thought it could be a cute little thing to throw in there. Glad you liked it
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Eh, my backlog is pretty bleh.
I'll be happy to show you anything new I work out, however, that doesn't really work out for my Dad's band. I took a break for about two years from writing and my older material is stuff I'd rather leave where it is. That is, languishing in non-production.
And I actually dug the speed-up, I should add. Played right into Sonic's 'Gotta' Go Fast!' hands.
YUUGI WANTS YOU FOR DRINKING BUDDYUmm... Are A Capella covers allowed here?
each day is a drive thru history@Topo: Oh, come now, there must be something not too bad in there. But fair enough, sounds good to me! Or even if there's something really different you want to do that you don't think would fit with their band, I'm up for it.
And thank you, I hadn't actually considered that there THAT IS TOTALLY WHAT I WAS GOING FOR.

"You cannot judge a system if your judgement is determined by the system."Nice, this could work pretty well with more instruments.
No regret shall pass over the threshold! Here's something I did a short while ago. It comes from one of the players of a Fiasco game who decided to write a few songs about the story they wound up creating — and I decided to cover it. And this is the writeup of the game itself, in case you're wondering what the hell the lyrics are about.

Wow, I took my time.
No regret shall pass over the threshold! That's pretty amazing! I like it a lot! It gets a bit overly discordant at times when the heavy instruments kick in, admittedly, but it's still a wonderful track regardless.
New mashup, this time with Queen and Tim Follin (one of the great video game composers of the classic era)!
It's like if the backing track for "AOBtD" was made with an NES.

It really is! I did have to make a few certain tweaks (like the pitch shifting in certain parts, which might be a bit obvious, or editing out/looping/rearranging in two or three parts), and the bass in the beginning and after each chorus is from the original track (the vocal track I got included that in order to keep the pace of the track going in the parts where there were no vocals, and I liked how that sounded against the other music, so I left it in), but the groove is basically the same, maybe with one or two notes off to avoid a lawsuit
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Another Sonic mashup (because why not), this time with Motown!
Well, why not? Here's my Sound Cloud. https://soundcloud.com/k4gzl-10621012
I'm kind of sad that when I reformatted my computer, I forgot to back up my gimmicky acoustic grindcore and acoustic shoegaze songs so no now they're lost forever.
I suppose this means I must now make an acoustic blackgaze song to compensate.
>acoustic grindcore
How dare you lose it
No regret shall pass over the threshold!
