Star Fox gets the same treatment. I think F-Zero has it much worse though.
Also, people kind of overestimate the impact of franchises like Metroid, F-Zero and the like. They are popular, yes, and sold fairly well, but compared to how much Mario and Zelda sell, it's kinda preposterous to demand Nintendo give them as much attention when their other stuff is way more popular.
Oh yeah, and F-Zero is slowly being replaced by Mario Kart 8.
Non Indicative UsernameOkay, playing AM2R and first impression is that everything is amazing. The feel, the sound, the look, the design; everything.
However, I defeated my first Metroid (the only one in the first area) and now there's a flashing ball in that room on my map and the map is pointing to it but shooting every wall and ceiling did nothing and running/rolling against them also did nothing. This is going to bug the hell out of me until I get rid of it so can someone tell me what that is?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Did you put a marker on your map by accident?
You probably marked your map on accident. Simply enter the map, hit (A button equivalent) and then (B button equivalent) to get rid of the marker.

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Today I found out the not-Xenomorph boss in the G.F.S. Thoth actually first showed up in Fusion, like Serris.
Do we have a dedicated Federation Force thread? If not, I'm going to post to some of the reviews.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Reviews seem to be all over the place. From what I can tell the general consensus is that solo play is okay, but it really shines with friends. Depending on word of mouth I might get it when it goes on sale for $20.
Basically, in the ending someone infiltrates the Federation HQ and hatches a Metroid egg. It's implied to by Sylux. In other words, setting things up for a future game. Assuming there will be one of course.
That sounds an Alien plot to me, which is good.

Non Indicative UsernameSylux really needs to have his own game where he's a main villain instead of being the guy in all the stingers.
They may be the Nick Fury of Metroid.
Non Indicative UsernameSo more story teases for a new game in the Prime verse.
So for those of you Metroid fans who've been stocking things up in Miitomo, the day has finally arrived! There's a lot of new Metroid stuff to pick up- some from Miitomo drop, some from My Nintendo, and a Screw Attack pin from the store.
Everyone gets an 8-bit Samus tee for free, and a Metroid hat is free via My Nintendo.
And you can wear a miniature Ridley on your back, which is as amazing as it sounds. Comes in normal, Super, Zero Mission, and Ice Ridley flavors.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaThis is some good news. Federation Force makes me happy now.
Oh really when?Flameboy: I'm pretty sure that Hunters used male pronouns for him. I think you might be thinking of Weavel, it's been a long time since I've looked at anything Hunters related though so I might've forgotten.
No Sylux is always a they, Weavel is a he.
Oh really when?Sylux will only team up with Samus against the Galactic Feds after smugly saying "I told you so."
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! So when does Fed Force take place?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! In the Prime verse after 3.
Sylux hates the Federation after having been caught cheating in Blast Ball.
The problem with being a B-list franchise is your anniversaries get overshadowed by more popular franchises.
