Honestly I'd rather have Joey. Or at least Fusion Suit Samus.
I voted for Shantae.
My hands were tied. But loosely enough that I could still type.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersBit of a long shot but I think it'd be cool to have a game with another protagonist. Kinda pull a MGS 2.
She's in the game and is this goal for the new protagonist to reach. Like you start off pretty weak but work your way to being her equal.
Louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny.Could be interesting. Have Samus be this untouchable badass legend who's always overshadowing you when she shows up, then by the end you finally get to work alongside her and it turns out that not only are you now pretty close to her in terms of skill, but she's surprisingly humble and... normal for someone your character has idolized and built up as being godlike the whole game.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! And then, of course, reveal that she just got to the mission and, of course, somehow lost almost all her powers.
Man, it's making me so sad Ang Seth didn't live long enough to meet Samus.
I sure said that!Personally, I'd like a post-Fusion game where it's only revealed that the PC isn't Samus at the very end, (with a bit more elaboration if you complete it fast enough).
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerHmm, Samus as Zero? I could see it!
If it was Metal Gear Solid 2 style you would HAVE to find a way to reenact yet corrupt the events of a previous popular Metroid game like Prime or Super. I doubt Raiden was the single most controversial thing about MGS 2 so much as its post modernist commentary on games and shit and how it basically took the piss out of both gamers and the previous game.
SAS: The "Samus Aran Simulation." A project that reenacts the events of Zebes with a different planet playing the role of Zebes, a new array of monsters playing the parts of the Super Metroid bosses with some new monsters playing two parts by themselves, one previous antagonist (Colonel Fuckface from Other M comes to mind) playing everyone for fools and working for the Federation and the reveal that SAS actually stands for "Selection for Anthrosocial Sanity" and is a complex way of keeping humans (the most paranoid and questioning of galactic races) complacent.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowWe might not need to follow MGS 2 so closely, even. For instance, we could just put the player into situations where following their impulses from previous Metroid games would have bad results, then don't give them any guidance to avoid these pitfalls. "That's what you wanted, isn't it?"
I guess you'd have to keep its place in the timeline ambiguous until the ending then, presuming that "Samus" is running around in a variant of the Power Suit rather than the Fusion Suit.

Finally started on Corruption; just landed on Bryyo.
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."Speaking as someone who actually kinda likes the mechanic sorta- Get ready, Retro was really proud of the Grapple Lasso.
I sure said that!Rundas was a really cool fight (no pun intended).
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."Vs. Rundas is one of the best tracks in the whole series. Not just Prime, the whole of Metroid.
I sure said that!I think Skytown is my favorite area in the series so far, at least aesthetically.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersYeah, there was no way that lone Federation trooper wasn't Gandrayda. Neat fight, though. (Speaking of bosses, Helios was also pretty interesting. Rundas is still the best fight, though.)

"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."Did you like getting to nuke the shield?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! She's more bird than machine now.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersFinally managed to get the Trilogy. It's gonna take me a bit to get used to the controls, especially being able to aim at other things while locking onto an enemy. Just gotta keep my hand steady. Man I wish the Classic Controller was an option.
Interesting that it delves into Wii mode to play it. It's like a virtual disk or something.

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefYou can actually turn off free aim while locked on. I actually recommend doing so as there's only one or two occasions where you want to be able to aim at other places while locked on.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I have to disagree, being able to aim at other things while locked on is extremely helpful, and one of the things that makes Metroid Prime 1 and 2 quite a bit easier on the Trilogy edition than it was in the original release.

Well, yes, plus Fire Emblem and SMT x Fire Emblem.
But most of the DLC was stuff they already announced last year.
